Chapter 20: Feed Me

He tried to shake her off, but this seemingly delicate little girl possessed surprising strength.

Her arms were tightly locked around his neck, strangling him until he could barely breathe.

Lin Lue rolled his eyes.

He simply gave up the struggle and lay face-down on the grass.

‘It’s over. I’m stuck with this mysterious little girl.’

If she were some bratty kid, Lin Lue had plenty of experience teaching those types a lesson.

But a lazy little girl… this was his first time dealing with one.

Still, even this couldn’t stump the experienced Lin Lue.

A brainstorm brewed as he quickly edited [Strategy Plan 1.0] in his mind.

Just as he was about to try it—

The weight on his back suddenly vanished.

The little girl rolled off his back, tumbling a few times on the grass.

A few blades of bright green grass clung to her tiny feet.

Lin Lue: “?”

He didn’t know what happened, but he breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he could finally escape.

Lin Lue flipped over.

The little girl rolled again, curling up precisely in his arms like a kitten and rubbing her small face against him.

Her arms once again draped around his neck.

Clearly, this was more comfortable.

Lin Lue: “…”

The gentle sunlight spilled down, landing on her silver-white hair and making it feel warm.

Her little mouth was slightly squished, half-open and half-closed, with a faint trace of shimmering drool hanging from the corner.

She slept incredibly peacefully and sweetly.

Lin Lue completely gave up on thinking.

He stared up at the blue sky and white clouds, lying motionless.

The Witch Academy was grand, but there weren’t many classes inside.

The high tuition fees deterred many girls from the Lower District.

There were no grade divisions.

Once one became an [Awakened Witch], they could graduate.

Inside the classroom.

The moment Lin Xue’er pushed open the door, a strange scent thick in the air rushed into her small nose.

Her pink eyes scanned the surroundings.

The tables and chairs in the back had been pushed aside in a mess, and the soft mats on the floor were soaked.

Everything reeked of chaos and intimacy.

The Lower District was chaotic to begin with, and since the classroom was filled entirely with women, they were even more uninhibited.

Even early in the morning, they seemed exceptionally “energetic.”

Lin Xue’er remained expressionless in the face of this hormone-filled scene and walked to her seat.

Her desk and chair had once again been maliciously covered in vulgar slurs, the writing dirty and eyesore-inducing.

Lin Xue’er cleaned it all up and sat down quietly.

Her back was straight as she bathed in the golden sunlight streaming through the window.

Her cascading white hair was clean and flawless, looking completely out of place in this dirty, sticky environment — like a quiet little white flower growing amidst the filth.

A girl wearing a half-draped dress walked slowly over to her with a victor’s smile.

She invited, “Lin Xue’er, why don’t you join our morning exercise? Come play with us.”

Lin Xue’er glanced at her.

Messy lipstick marks covered the girl’s exposed skin.

Lin Xue’er shook her head.

“No need.”

She didn’t like girls, but she never interfered with other people’s choices.

She maintained respect for what these people did.

And then she ignored them.

“Tsk, what a poser.”

“Don’t mind this little shrimp. No chest, no ass — how boring.”

“She’s just acting all high and mighty. Leave her alone.”

Lin Xue’er didn’t take the insults behind her back to heart at all.

She turned to look out the window.

The sunlight was perfect, the new buds on the branches were a vibrant green, and two little birds were preening each other’s feathers, snuggling close.

Her gaze gradually went blank, leaving only one thought.

‘Where is Brother now? What is he doing?’

Lin Xue’er pulled out her phone; Lin Lue had bought it for her.

Most people in the Upper District used special high-tech Communicators.

She opened her photo gallery.

It was filled entirely with photos of Lin Lue — tens of thousands of them — and the number would only grow in the future.

Suddenly, a wet wad of paper was thrown her way, grazing Lin Xue’er’s cheek before hitting the wall.

A few drops of water landed on the screen.

Lin Xue’er was silent for a few seconds.

She grabbed the solid wood stool beside her with one hand and, without any hesitation, slammed it backward with brute force.

A loud crash echoed through the classroom.

The girl who had just been playing the prank fell to the ground, curling up in pain.

The noisy classroom instantly fell deathly silent.

Everyone’s eyes were fixed on Lin Xue’er.

Their previous contempt, disdain, and mockery… were all replaced by fear and panic.

They were all as quiet as cicadas in winter, not daring to make another sound.

Lin Xue’er didn’t give them a shred of attention.

She lifted the hem of her skirt and carefully wiped her phone screen.

The fabric of the dress was more delicate than a paper towel.

She looked at the photo of Lin Lue on the screen and smiled innocently.

“Cleaned it.”

Only then did she pull out a tissue to wipe away the water trace on her cheek.

In the girls’ restroom somewhere on campus.

Hurry footsteps approached. Several girls rushed in, pushing open stall doors one by one to check.

The last one was also empty.

They could only scratch their heads and leave in confusion.

“Strange, I clearly saw a figure just now. Did I see wrong?”

Silence returned to the restroom.

They hadn’t seen wrong.

If they had bothered to look up, they would have found a man braced against the ceiling like an octopus.

Lin Lue gritted his teeth, maintaining the difficult posture until the footsteps were completely gone before dropping to the floor.

He let go, and the little girl he had been holding by the back of her collar dropped.

He skillfully caught her in his arms again.

Lin Lue looked down.

She was still dead to the world, showing no signs of waking up.

Lin Lue’s mouth twitched.

He felt like he was suffering internal injuries from holding it in.

He had been incredibly nervous, fearing discovery, yet she was being so lazy.

Lin Lue exhaled.

The security at the Witch Academy was tighter than he had imagined.

Lin Lue was satisfied.

After all, having such a strict academy in the chaotic Lower District was fantastic.

His sister’s safety was guaranteed.

Lin Lue had wanted to find an opportunity to dump the little girl.

Even an adorable accessory was still an accessory.

It hindered his movements.

But as long as he moved, the little girl would immediately reach out and wrap her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.

Lin Lue didn’t understand.

Her thin little arms had no muscle, so why were they so strong?

He had been defeated by a little girl.

Wait, no.

He just felt that having this cute accessory was quite pleasing to the eye.

Looking at her gave him more energy to run.

Hiding in the girls’ restroom wasn’t a solution.

If he were caught, he wouldn’t be able to explain himself no matter how many mouths he had.

Lin Lue held his breath, peeking out the door.

After confirming no one was around, he left quickly with the little girl in his arms.

The jolts from his fast running finally caused the little girl to frown uncomfortably.

She slowly opened her eyes.

Seeing this, Lin Lue was moved. Thank goodness, she finally woke up.

Before he could use persuasion — or rather, use a gentle way to convince her to get out of his arms — a soft voice rang out again.

“Hungry…”

“Feed me.”

The entitled tone made a vein throb on Lin Lue’s temple.

Wake up and eat, finish eating and sleep…

Did she think he was a mobile feeding machine plus a bed?

He put on a stern face, intentionally pretending not to hear.

The little girl silently looked up at him.

A few seconds later, she suddenly opened her rosy, tiny mouth.

Under Lin Lue’s horrified gaze, she bit down hard on his cheek.

“Ouch, ouch, ouch! Let go!! Let go already!!!”

Lin Lue lasted ten seconds in the little girl’s baby-teeth-gnawing challenge.

You should try it too.
