Based on the current situation, the severity of the matter has far exceeded Hoshinohara’s expectations.
His sister had actually tampered with the wall, installing translucent material into it.
When did this start?
Last month, a minor earthquake occurred in Tamayura-cho, causing some of the plaster on this wall to peel off, so Hoshinohara hired workers to repair it.
At that time, he happened to be out for an errand and wasn’t there to supervise the entire process.
Moreover, the cost of that wall repair was incredibly expensive, leading Hoshinohara to complain about being ripped off.
Looking back now, everything clicked.
His sister must have taken advantage of his absence to bribe the maintenance workers into installing such a thing in the wall.
What should I do?
What else could he do?
He could only stick to the old method—pretending that nothing had happened.
If he reacted too quickly, it would bound to arouse his sister’s suspicion, leading her to doubt the authenticity of the previous hypnosis, which would be disastrous.
His sister had school every day; except for weekends, it would be difficult for her to find time to monitor him.
As long as he was more cautious, there shouldn’t be any major issues.
To be safe, he should mention to the Leader that they should avoid online voice communication in the future.
If he were overheard over here, he would be easily exposed.
After settling on a plan, Hoshinohara returned to his computer and opened his private email, where he received a new message.
Unsurprisingly, it contained detailed information on two newly recruited Magical Girls.
Hoshinohara checked them; he had no impression of these two names. From their power levels to their looks, they were mediocre—clearly destined to be “cannon fodder” Magical Girls.
The main plot was closely tied to the three S-rank Magical Girl protagonists, but it didn’t have much to do with ordinary Magical Girls.
If any poor Magical Girls fell into his hands, Hoshinohara would generally turn a blind eye and secretly let them go.
However, if they fell into the hands of other executives, there was truly nothing he could do to help.
After reviewing his plan in his mind for the umpteenth time, Hoshinohara finally hit the keyboard and replied to the email: “Executive Shirley, the intelligence you provided yesterday was crucial. The organization is discussing a reward for you. There is a new mission for you to complete; the organization needs you to investigate a person. His name is…”
Meanwhile, inside Senba Academy, the homeroom teacher of Class 2-A, Shizuka Kurosawa, was enjoying her lunch break at her office desk.
During this time, no one else would enter the office, so Shizuka Kurosawa was acting quite freely.
Her long, black-stockinged legs were sprawled across the desk, while her upper body, clad in a white OL uniform, was leaned back in her chair.
This posture made her already exceptionally full chest look even more ready to burst, making one worry about the quality of her clothes.
While leaning back and wiggling her toes, Shizuka Kurosawa typed something on her phone with fingers as white as scallion stalks.
Suddenly, the computer in front of her chimed with a new email notification.
Her legs retracted like lightning as she sat up straight, scanned her surroundings once more to confirm no one would disturb her, and cautiously opened the email.
It was actually a direct order from Lord Nightshade himself, instructing her to investigate someone’s detailed information.
This person was indeed at Senba Academy.
As a teacher, investigating a student’s information was very simple.
After reading the email, Shizuka Kurosawa looked ecstatic and immediately replied: “I obey Lord Nightshade’s command. This subordinate guarantees the mission will be completed perfectly and with the utmost speed.”
Indeed, Shizuka Kurosawa was not just an ordinary homeroom teacher; she had another hidden identity: she was an executive of the mysterious organization “Dark Eclipse.”
Code name: “Shirley.”
As the head of the Intelligence Department, Shizuka Kurosawa’s status as a teacher provided her with many conveniences.
The vast majority of Magical Girls naturally had to go to school, and their powers usually awakened around the age of fourteen.
Because of this, Shizuka Kurosawa knew exactly which students in Senba Academy were official Magical Girls or candidates.
Just yesterday, she had submitted a detailed file on a light-element Magical Girl named “Hoshino Hikari” to the organization.
And by an even greater coincidence, this once-in-a-century genius, Hoshino Hikari, happened to be a student in her class.
When school ended yesterday, Hoshino Hikari left in such a hurry that she left her backpack in the classroom.
It was obvious she was performing a mission as a Magical Girl for the first time; she was so excited and nervous that she made a mistake.
However, Hikari’s mistake provided Shizuka Kurosawa with an opportunity.
Last night, she found Hikari’s phone in the backpack, easily cracked the password, and looked through everything inside.
Young girls…
What special secrets could they have?
It was nothing more than the same few things.
At that age, Shizuka had been much more innocent and romantic than Hikari, but unfortunately, later on…
Sigh.
After browsing the contents of the girl’s phone and finding nothing too unusual, Shizuka Kurosawa was about to put it back after one last look at the photo gallery.
It was then that Shizuka Kurosawa—who had been a repressed old maid for over twenty years—caught sight of a photo with her sharp, precise gaze.
In the photo was a young man with a bare upper body, doing push-ups on the floor.
Sweat soaked his hair and flowed down his muscular lines, making his physique even more defined.
These muscles…
These arms…
This back…
This waist…
This resolute profile…
The moment she saw the photo, Shizuka Kurosawa’s eyes went straight.
Her throat moved as she subconsciously kept swallowing.
Every pore of the boy in the photo hit her aesthetic preferences with absolute precision.
There were over a hundred such stunning photos in the album, most of them from strange angles, looking like they were taken secretly.
Among the many fitness photos, Shizuka Kurosawa found a picture of him with Hoshino Hikari.
The young man had a clean face and gentle eyes, looking at Hikari with a doting expression.
On the outside, he looked gentle and humble, as refreshing as a spring breeze; yet beneath that captivating exterior lay an explosive sense of power.
Isn’t this the “Muscular Shota” she had been searching for all these years?!
Previously, seeing that Hikari’s phone didn’t even have a handsome guy wallpaper and that she didn’t follow celebrities, Shizuka thought she was a pure little girl.
Who would have thought she was “eating” so well in private!
Shizuka Kurosawa immediately decided that she had to find a way to meet this boy.
As a homeroom teacher, she had some understanding of Hoshino Hikari’s family situation.
Her parents were away on business all year and rarely returned; she lived alone with her older brother.
Based on the photos, this boy should be Hikari’s brother.
His name seemed to be…
Hoshinohara?
Shizuka Kurosawa remembered that her brother was supposed to be a high school dropout who stayed at home as an otaku.
How could there be such a sunny and handsome otaku in this world?
She couldn’t care about that anymore.
Once a handsome guy like this stepped out of the house, who knows how many people would fight over him.
Since she had discovered him, she had to strike first.
That night, a lonely and restless Shizuka Kurosawa imagined an intense “battle” with the boy in the photo while actively engaging in a project of “extracorporeal drainage of bodily fluids.”
Finally, the moment the “drainage” was successful, she thought of a brilliant plan and decided to take action today.
Back to the present: when Shizuka Kurosawa finished replying to Lord Nightshade’s email, her lunch break was almost over.
After the first period in the afternoon, Shizuka Kurosawa brought Hoshino Hikari to the office.
“Hoshino Hikari-kun, do you know why Teacher called you to the office?”
Shizuka Kurosawa asked with a stern face.
“Report, Teacher… I, I don’t know…”
Hikari answered tremblingly.
She had always been the model of a good student.
Although her grades weren’t particularly great before, with her brother’s tutoring lately, she was now at the top of her class.
Hikari truly couldn’t think of what she had done wrong.
Shizuka Kurosawa stared into her eyes: “Hikari, your recent study attitude is very disappointing. You’re always dazing off in class, getting distracted, and whispering to classmates. Is that true?”
Hikari hesitated to speak, then spoke and stopped, finally biting her lip and answering: “Yes…”
She had a reason for being distracted, but she couldn’t say it.
She couldn’t tell the teacher that she was distracted because she had recently become a Magical Girl, right?
So, she had no choice but to admit it.
Shizuka Kurosawa sighed: “Hoshino Hikari-kun, I need to have a talk with your guardian.”
Upon hearing this, Hikari was so anxious she almost cried: “Teacher, I promise I’ll never get distracted in class again. Please give me another chance, okay?”
Shizuka Kurosawa shook her head firmly: “No. If you weren’t student material, Teacher wouldn’t do this. It’s precisely because your grades are so good and Teacher wants you to successfully get into the best high school that I must do this. Do you understand?”
Touched and ashamed, Hikari lowered her head and couldn’t say another word.
“Oh, by the way, your parents aren’t home, right? Then you can give me your brother’s contact information instead,” Shizuka said.
…
At home, Hoshinohara finished his official duties and saw the reply from Executive Shirley: “I obey Lord Nightshade’s command. This subordinate guarantees the mission will be completed perfectly and with the utmost speed.”
He nodded with satisfaction.
As long as her level of obedience to him was high enough, he could change her fate as well along the way.
Just as Hoshinohara was thinking this, his phone suddenly chimed with a notification.
He opened it to see: “Shizuka Kurosawa, Homeroom Teacher of Class 2-A, Senba Academy, is requesting to add you as a friend.”
Hoshinohara: “?”
