Ella didn’t know how her face had ended up pressed so close.
Her body moved forward inch by inch, as if pulled along by an invisible string.
Moonlight flowed over her silver hair, casting faint shadows across her cheeks.
Her eyes were wide open.
Her crimson pupils reflected that tiny opening, barely a centimeter wide.
She couldn’t understand what she was hesitating about.
No matter how much humiliation she had to endure right now, she could pay these girls back for it later.
When the time came, she would make them experience this same feeling to the fullest—using tentacles, using the Swarm, using every method she could think of—letting them taste what it felt like to be trampled underfoot and humiliated.
This was a transaction.
This was the price she had to pay for revenge.
She repeated those two sentences in her heart again and again, like a mantra, desperately trying to drown out the churning sensation surging up from the pit of her stomach—the one that made her want to turn around and run.
Something is wrong with this chapter
I know it is a very very very small chapter 🙂
