Break time.
Today’s Longyu was different from before.
In the past, she only knew how to eat snacks after class.
Now she came to Yuriko’s desk, holding her phone to ask some questions.
“Where can I find this kind of sticker?”
Longyu pointed at a sticker Yuriko had sent her in their chat.
It seemed she wanted to use it too.
“Usually, you save stickers other people send you or download official sticker packs.
You can also upload your own pictures and turn them into stickers.”
Yuriko personally demonstrated how to save a sticker for Longyu.
It opened Longyu’s eyes.
Then she held her own phone and browsed the official website for sticker packs she liked.
Only when this break period ended did Longyu slowly shuffle back to her seat with her phone.
When the next break came, Longyu wandered over again.
She asked Yuriko about one thing, then another.
Yuriko patiently explained everything to her.
Longyu learned quite quickly.
Yuriko only had to teach her once, and she already knew how to use the chat app properly.
‘She’s not stupid, is she?
‘She learns in one go, so why is she acting so silly like a child at her age?’ Yuriko wondered.
She had thought Longyu’s mental development was slow, which made her seem dumb.
But now it appeared Longyu’s intelligence was perfectly normal.
‘Based on my understanding, people only grow when they encounter difficulties,’ another voice replied.
‘This red dragon has been sheltered very well, and she has never been required to learn knowledge, so she lacks common sense.’
‘What you say makes some sense, but she’s been too sheltered.
‘Her thinking is completely childlike.’
Even though she thought this, Yuriko still felt a sense of accomplishment when she taught the little dragon girl how to use her phone.
No wonder some people liked to educate others.
So this was what it felt like to teach.
If she wasn’t careful, she might really get addicted.
The second break also ended under Longyu’s persistent questioning.
By the third break, when Longyu came to bother Yuriko again, Yuriko held back, but Carmilla couldn’t.
“Longyu, if you keep pestering Yuriko like this, she won’t have time to rest,” Carmilla said softly.
“Oh, is that so?”
Longyu scratched her head, not sensing any dissatisfaction from Yuriko about her harassment.
Carmilla spoke very gently, so Longyu couldn’t hear the jealousy in her words.
But Yuriko, who was familiar with Carmilla, understood.
When Carmilla spoke like that, it was already a sign of being “quite rude.”
She meant to chase Longyu away.
‘Is she jealous because I’ve been with Longyu and not playing with her?’
Somehow, when Carmilla subtly expressed her possessiveness over her, Yuriko felt a little pleased.
Carmilla did this because she considered her an irreplaceable partner, right?
Although Yuriko didn’t mind teaching Longyu a bit more, she should let Longyu take a step back for now.
She couldn’t bear to make Carmilla sad.
“I’ll teach you more slowly later. Mira and I are going to the restroom. If you really want to know, go ask Yuri.”
As soon as Yuriko finished speaking, Yuri said discontentedly, “Don’t push this off on me! I have books to read too, you know.”
“Then why do I feel like you’re so free? Every time I have something going on, you come right over?”
“Hee hee, that’s different~” Yuri immediately put on a mischievous grin.
Having fun and messing around was interesting.
How could that be the same as teaching a kid?
“Just do me a favor. I’ll treat you to milk tea later.”
“Tch, don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. You just want to dump her on me so you can have some alone time with Carmilla.”
Carmilla’s cheeks flushed a bit.
Being called “alone time” made her a little shy.
Yuri propped her chin up and watched Longyu, who was holding her phone and exploring the electronic ocean.
Suddenly, she thought there might be some fun to be had.
“For your sake, I’ll reluctantly agree. I’ll remember this milk tea.”
With Yuri’s agreement, Yuriko finally pulled Carmilla out.
Although Yuriko suspected that Yuri had agreed so readily because she wanted to cause some trouble, it was only for a short while.
She probably couldn’t corrupt Longyu that fast.
“I’m curious about what you did yesterday to make Longyu cling to you like this,” Carmilla asked suddenly as they walked down the hallway.
“It’s nothing really. Just yesterday when I was going home…”
There was nothing to hide about it.
Yuriko hadn’t done anything wrong, so she gave a rough explanation.
“I think it’s because she saw me playing on my phone in the car yesterday, so she started taking an interest in phones.”
“But she only pestered you about it. It seems she really likes you.”
Carmilla’s words didn’t carry much jealousy this time.
She knew very well that Yuriko was just that likable.
In fact, the fact that Yuriko was willing to hand Longyu over to Yuri for her sake already made Carmilla very satisfied.
“Maybe I’m just more popular with kids?”
After freshening up, the two didn’t rush back to the classroom.
Instead, they found a bench in the Academy’s garden to sit down.
“What do you think about the future direction?” Carmilla asked.
She was referring to Yuriko’s plan to raise her popularity in the Academy.
She had been concerned about this lately and would help Yuriko think of ways to increase her popularity.
“There aren’t many activities to join recently, so I’m thinking of joining the Student Council.
I got a bit closer with Olesia yesterday, so I can ask her to assign me some patrol work.”
Now Yuriko was quite well-known in the Academy.
As long as someone paid even a little attention, they would recognize this celebrity.
But being famous was one thing.
She still had to figure out how to turn that fame into popularity.
For now, the only thing she could do was wander around the Academy as much as possible and interact with students from other grades.
“Can I join the Student Council with you?” Carmilla asked.
“You want to act together too? But Mira, you’re the class monitor, aren’t you?
Adding a Student Council job would be too much pressure on you.”
As the class monitor, Carmilla had to handle a lot of trivial class matters.
Adding another job from the Student Council made Yuriko wonder if she could really handle it.
“If I only take on some light work, it shouldn’t be a problem.”
“Then apply together with me. I’ll mention it to Olesia later.”
Yuriko made a decision in her heart.
Once Carmilla joined the Student Council, she herself would finish Carmilla’s work for her.
After finalizing their plan, they finally returned to the classroom just before class started.
“You didn’t teach Longyu anything weird, did you?” Yuriko asked Yuri.
“How could I? Am I some kind of bad person?” Yuri replied with a grin.
Alright, judging by her expression, she definitely did something.
