“Xiaocheng, what are you thinking about? You look so out of it.”
Pushing open the door to the room, Su Xiaocheng saw Lu Yinxi lying on her side on the bed, wearing a silk nightgown with the blanket half pulled back, gazing at the two of them with clear intent.
“Xiaolu? Did I walk into the wrong room?” Su Xiaocheng stepped back and checked the room number. It was definitely the one assigned to her.
“You didn’t go wrong~” Lu Yinxi patted the empty spot beside her, smiling as she stared at Su Xiaocheng.
“Big Sister is really tired today,” Su Xiaowei peeked out from behind Su Xiaocheng and said weakly.
As the one at the bottom of the attack-defense chain, Su Xiaowei always lacked a bit of confidence when facing Lu Yinxi in this kind of situation.
“I know. So today, let me reward you both.”
Lu Yinxi got off the bed, walked barefoot over to the pair, pulled the still-hesitating girls into the room, and casually locked the door behind them.
With her movements, the loose nightgown inevitably shifted, offering tantalizing glimpses of skin.
“Do… do I have to join too?” Su Xiaowei asked timidly.
“Yes!” Lu Yinxi answered without the slightest hesitation.
A faint magical glow flashed, skipping the need to wash up. Su Xiaocheng and Su Xiaowei felt their bodies relax considerably.
“Come on, try my newly learned massage technique~ Xiaowei, you first~”
“Huh? Me?” Su Xiaowei tilted her head, but she quickly understood why.
“That’s right. Xiaocheng, you come help massage Xiaowei too~” After coaxing Su Xiaowei to lie down, Lu Yinxi called Su Xiaocheng over.
“Huh? I don’t know how?”
“It’s fine. I’ll teach you. There’s a perfect teaching aid right here~” The corners of Lu Yinxi’s mouth curved upward as she looked at Su Xiaowei.
“Ehh? If we do it together, she’ll break!” Su Xiaowei panicked a little, but Lu Yinxi had no intention of letting her escape.
“Like this? That seems… doable?” Facing this brand-new way of playing, Su Xiaocheng grew interested.
Positioning themselves on either side of Su Xiaowei, the two placed their hands on her shoulders at the same time.
Su Xiaowei’s body instantly went limp and collapsed onto the bed.
……
Boom!
Inside the room the air overflowed with springtime heat. Outside, thunder rumbled as the monthly Rain Curtain descended upon Rain Curtain City.
The rain had been falling for a full day, leaving shallow puddles in places along the roads.
The streets were deserted, with only the rain falling in lonely silence.
“This rain really makes people uncomfortable,” Jealousy said, holding an umbrella and feeling the disorienting power carried by the rainwater.
“It doesn’t matter. As long as there are no magical girls around, the Security Council’s fancy toys alone can’t stop us.”
Wrath didn’t even bother with an umbrella, letting the rain beat directly against her. The weak disorienting property in the water was completely ignored by her.
“Let’s find some cannon fodder first to burn through the Security Council’s ammo reserves.” Wrath snapped her fingers.
The snap cut through the rain curtain. Two streets away in the ground-walking lizard breeding farm, the sleeping lizards suddenly snapped their eyes open.
Under the influence of Wrath’s berserk magic, a thread of crimson appeared in their eyes and rapidly spread until it filled their entire eyeballs.
Wrath’s berserk magic was more than enough to drive every lizard in the farm into a frenzied state.
“Little ones, break free from your shackles!”
The frenzied ground-walking lizards tore off their chains. Their several-meter-long bodies easily smashed open the pen doors.
“What’s going on?” The farm staff came out to investigate the noise.
Hundreds of red-eyed ground-walking lizards charged straight at him, their heavy footsteps shaking the ground.
“Shit!” The administrator scrambled out of the way.
What a joke—did they expect him to try stopping these beasts on a few thousand yuan a month?
The lizards didn’t spare the man a glance. They burst through the farm gates and, guided by Wrath, surged toward the Security Council base.
“The little ones are pretty energetic.” Wrath chuckled softly and leaped into the air above the Security Council’s plain little building.
Vast magic power gathered in her hands, pulling the surrounding rainwater toward her.
Compared to using berserk magic to drive others mad, Wrath much preferred applying it to herself for raw explosive power.
“Open for me!”
Wrath threw a punch. The raging magic power, carrying a massive sphere of gathered rainwater, slammed violently into the small building.
Even though the building’s core was high-strength alloy, it couldn’t withstand such a ferocious attack.
The single-story structure collapsed with a crash. The sealed elevator shaft roof was punched open by a huge hole, and rainwater poured straight down through it.
Rumble rumble rumble!
The wave of frenzied ground-walking lizards had arrived as well. Facing the twenty-meter-deep pit, the lizards jumped in without hesitation.
Boom!
The massive bodies of the ground-walking lizards plummeting from height produced enormous impacts.
……
“Is there some kind of noise outside?” Su Xiaocheng wiped her damp fingers and looked up in confusion.
“Such strong magic fluctuations. Is a witch attacking the Security Council?” Lu Yinxi had also sensed the anomaly.
The magic fluctuations of Witch Church deacons were closer to those of actual witches, and magical girls had no reason to attack the Security Council.
“Mm… Big Sister, Sister Xiaolu, I can’t take it anymore~” Su Xiaowei’s body twitched slightly, her whole form limp and powerless.
“Should we… go out and check?” Su Xiaocheng glanced worriedly outside, then back at Su Xiaowei whose eyes had gone unfocused, feeling they might have gotten a little carried away.
It couldn’t be helped; this was their first time trying something like this, so losing control was only natural.
Besides, Su Xiaowei looked like she was enjoying herself immensely.
“Big Sister, I… I’m fine.” Su Xiaowei came back to her senses a little.
Supporting herself with both hands, Su Xiaowei tried to get off the bed and reach for the clothes that had been tossed to the foot of it.
“Mmm!” Her body gave out, and she collapsed back onto the bed. The damp sheets still carried lingering warmth, making her instinctively press her thighs together.
Lu Yinxi cast a recovery spell on Su Xiaowei, helping her regain some strength.
Su Xiaocheng poured a glass of warm water and carefully fed it to her.
“Big Sister, I think I’m okay now.” After getting dressed, Su Xiaowei cast protective spells on everyone.
Knock knock knock. A knock sounded at the door.
Su Xiaocheng went over and opened it to find Li Yanyan standing there with Lu Shiyuan.
“There seems to be some situation outside. Everyone, come out and take a look,” Li Yanyan said.
They had gone to Lu Yinxi and Su Xiaowei’s room earlier, but no one had answered.
Now, seeing the three of them neatly dressed inside, Li Yanyan pressed a hand to her forehead.
“I hope we didn’t interrupt anything?”
“It’s fine. We were already finished,” Lu Yinxi said calmly as she tossed the tissue in her hand into the trash.
Su Xiaowei kept her head lowered, face flushed bright red, wishing she could crawl back under the covers.
