At noon, Keliya finished her work.
She had originally planned to eat with her best friend, Sorina.
But Sorina didn’t give her a friendly face.
“I won’t eat with a social butterfly!”
After saying that, Sorina stormed off to the dining hall.
Leaving Keliya alone, bewildered in the wind.
Thinking about it carefully, she really was a social butterfly!
Although Sorina didn’t know it, behind the scenes, Keliya often bullied Weiwei—kissing her without warning, flipping up her skirt, even watching her sleep.
If Sorina found out, she’d probably blow her top at the little princess.
Better not eat with Sorina. Let her cool down. And she shouldn’t go to the dining hall either. Enemies meeting face-to-face would only make things worse. If she angered her, that would be bad.
For now, she couldn’t afford any rumors.
If word reached the Pope, he might push for marriage again.
Keliya bought a sandwich and planned to eat in the lounge.
But just as the noon bell rang,
Keliya heard a commotion outside the window.
She opened the window and saw a crowd gathered. There seemed to be someone in the middle, but the crowd was too dense. Keliya couldn’t make out who it was.
For some reason, Keliya had a bad feeling.
That feeling soon came true: when the crowd dispersed, Keliya saw Weiwei’s figure. She was dressed adorably, no wonder so many people had gathered.
It looked like Weiwei was bringing her lunch?
‘No one else knows, but I know best. Weiwei is a bratty little imp. Would she really be kind enough to bring me lunch? She’s definitely using lunch as an excuse to seduce me, right?’
‘Hmph, I won’t fall for you.’
‘At most, I’ll bully you, get some physical contact, treat you like a toy, or maybe a bed partner. Want to make my heart race? You’re still too green!’
A moment later, footsteps echoed in the hallway.
Keliya jumped up, opened the door, and saw Weiwei’s puffed-up face.
“Weiwei, what are you doing here?”
“I came to bring big sister lunch!”
No matter what, Keliya was a normal mature woman. When she saw the cute young girl deliberately swaying her full chest, she couldn’t help stealing a few glances.
Weiwei stood there, bold and righteous, deliberately swinging her curves.
Fortunately, Keliya steadied herself in time.
Just then, she noticed the patrol officers not far away.
“What are you two doing here?”
“Holy Maiden, we’ll be going now.”
“May you two enjoy a wonderful night—no wait, look at the current situation, how could it be a wonderful night? It’s just a sweet lunch break for two.”
“Yeah, yeah, just the two of you!~~”
But why did their eyes look so strange?
It was as if Weiwei was already Keliya’s little bride!
Keliya reached out, wanting to call them back and explain. But the two patrol officers slipped away like greased eels, vanishing at the end of the corridor in an instant.
Keliya slowly clenched her hand.
She grabbed Weiwei’s wrist, pulled her into the room, and without explanation, pinned her against the wall.
Weiwei was pressed against the wall like a frightened kitten. Keliya, inches away, lifted Weiwei’s chin and gently touched her cherry lips.
“Explain yourself clearly. What’s going on?”
Weiwei was so scared she covered her chest and almost collapsed to the floor. But soon she realized there was nothing to fear—she had a perfectly good reason!
“You expect me to believe you’d bring me food for no reason?”
‘She’s definitely using the food as an excuse to talk bad about me, right?’
‘Maybe the food isn’t the point. The point is to spread rumors. Now the whole church knows Keliya is keeping a hidden beauty, doesn’t it?’
‘And the lunch box is probably empty, right?’
Keliya picked up the lunch box. To her surprise, it had some weight to it.
But that didn’t mean anything.
‘It’s probably empty, just cleverly weighted to look like something’s inside. When I open it, Weiwei will smirk at me.’
‘”What’s this, you pathetic big sister wants to eat my bento?”
‘”Go drink the northwest wind, idiot!~~”
‘Ahh, just thinking about it makes me angry!’
‘I have to expose Weiwei. Smash the lunch box in her face.’
‘Then strip her naked and humiliate her thoroughly!’
With a resentful expression, Keliya untied the cloth and opened the lunch box.
Instantly, the aroma of rice filled the air, along with the smell of ham and greens.
Looking closely, it really was a bento!
“Huh?”
“It is a bento! I worked so hard to make it for big sister, and you still yell at me. Big sister is so mean!”
When opened, it wasn’t as delicate as she’d imagined—rather simple.
Just white rice, unevenly cut ham slices, and greens that were a bit burnt.
“But you’d really be that kind?”
Keliya frowned.
“You’re not here to seduce me and make me lose my composure? Why would you make me a bento?”
“It’s just a bento! I worked so hard to make it for big sister, and you still yell at me. Big sister is so mean!”
‘Well, well… it really is a bento…’
She had wanted to accuse Weiwei of using pre-made food.
But the greens were a mess.
The rice was a bit dry too. There’s no way this was pre-made, right?
“If I wanted to seduce you, I wouldn’t bother making a bento by hand!”
Weiwei puffed out her chest.
“What, you expect me to feed you with my own hands? Dream on!”
“You!—”
Just as Keliya was about to flare up, Weiwei took the lunch box away.
Keliya looked at her empty hands and suddenly felt a pang of loss. After all, this was a bento made by Weiwei for her.
It was the first time a girl had made her a bento.
Even if it was with ulterior motives, it was still handmade by a girl. Not eating it would be such a waste.
Weiwei saw Keliya’s reaction and felt immensely satisfied: ‘Look at you, saying you’re not moved. Your lips are already pursed all the way to your cheeks!’
‘But if she’s moved, why hasn’t she lost her composure?’
‘Maybe she’s not moved deeply enough?’
‘No rush. There’s plenty of time. Today, let Keliya taste the power of a homemade bento!’
“Big sister Keliya, want to eat the bento?”
The lunch box sat on the table, a pair of chopsticks resting on top.
Weiwei sat at the table, cupping her cheeks in her hands, flashing a sweet smile.
Keliya’s heart tightened suddenly, and she felt her magic power go haywire.
‘No, stay calm. I can’t fall for this!’
‘Weiwei made the bento to seduce me.’
Keliya took two deep breaths and sat opposite Weiwei. She picked up the chopsticks, and under Weiwei’s gaze, picked up a pan-fried sausage, put it in her mouth, and chewed.
It tasted so-so, but it had a homely flavor.
“So? Is it good?”
“Don’t flatter yourself. I haven’t settled accounts with you yet!”
“What accounts are there to settle…”
“How dare you ask?”
Keliya rolled her eyes.
“All those people gathered just now—you wanted to spread rumors, make me lose face, didn’t you?”
“Th-there’s no way!…”
Weiwei’s face showed guilt. Keliya snorted coldly.
She was right. Weiwei wanted to stir up a fuss. If everyone knew about their relationship, then with others’ encouragement, the distance between them would shrink.
Unintentionally, it created private time for the two of them, accompanied by well-wishes.
At first, nothing would happen. But over time, it would become a habit.
Getting used to Weiwei being around, getting used to their private world.
Then feelings would develop, and her magic power would be lost!
But on second thought, Sorina already knew. Sooner or later, it would become common knowledge. She was just speeding up the process.
If the Pope forces marriage, then she could just marry her, right?
As long as she didn’t develop feelings, even entering the bridal chamber would be fine, wouldn’t it?
And she could even taste the flavor of an innocent young girl.
