She slowly stood up and smiled. “Sorry, I talked a bit too much just now.”

Ivy didn’t think much of it, assuming Li Yanqiu was just being friendly, and didn’t try to stop her.

They could only pack the leftovers to take back for Dad, which also counted as treating him.

Yawning, she opened the door and found the living room light on.

“Dad, you’re back.”

“Here, Ivy treated us. There’s a lot left over. You can eat it while you’re home.”
