“Don’t come any closer!”

Su Nan was suddenly tackled by Mu Chuxian.

He thought she’d go straight for his neck and bite him like last time…

Right now, Mu Chuxian was softly licking his neck with her small tongue.

That feather-light, tingling sensation made Su Nan’s entire body shiver involuntarily.

Mu Chuxian clung to his neck as she licked gently, whispering those words into his ear.

Her voice made Su Nan’s heart itch uncontrollably.

His thoughts started to drift… and he almost reached out to hug her back on instinct.

But in the end, he resisted—with a face full of righteous suffering.

Suddenly, images of humiliation flashed through Su Nan’s mind.

A seven-foot-tall man, pinned down by someone else without even a sliver of resistance…

“I… I’m so damn pathetic!”

He clenched his fists in quiet frustration.

But that soft, numbing sensation—and Mu Chuxian’s teasing whispers—still echoed in his heart like ripples in water.

Not long after, Mu Chuxian finally got off of him, looking thoroughly satisfied.

She licked her lips and gave him a sultry glance that made Su Nan feel strangely empty inside.

Even after being drained of his yang energy, Su Nan didn’t feel weak this time—nowhere near how drained he’d been before.

“You think a Pure Yang Constitution is made of paper or something? Who do you think you’re looking down on?”

The system’s snarky voice chimed in out of nowhere.

Su Nan ignored it, but the remark did clear up his confusion.

“Sorry, Junior Su… I couldn’t help myself. Your energy was just too tempting.”

Mu Chuxian’s face flushed slightly, but she still smiled sweetly as she looked at him.

“You’re a Ghost Empress. How’d you end up enrolled at Tianlan Academy?”

Su Nan avoided her eyes, quickly changing the subject.

“Excuse me—‘ended up’? I am human, okay?”

Mu Chuxian said, pouting.

Her blush hadn’t faded yet.

Su Nan glanced at her again, feeling his heart flutter just a little.

“Su Nan, I like you.”

Mu Chuxian looked up and confessed again.

That same sentence made Su Nan raise a hand to his forehead and groan:

“Senior, please! You just want to suck more of my yang energy, don’t you?!”

“And isn’t that because I like you?”

Mu Chuxian stepped closer until her body almost touched his, her voice soft and seductive:

“Junior Su, have dinner with me tonight.”

Before Su Nan could even answer, she disappeared.

In that brief moment, Su Nan had completely lost control of his thoughts—he’d genuinely been bewitched.

And now… his head was pounding.

He really didn’t know how to deal with this senior of his.

What made it worse was… he didn’t even hate her confession.

That made things way more complicated.

‘Wait—don’t tell me I have no resistance to non-human girls?!’

“Friendly reminder!”

“Host has now received more than ten consecutive confessions from Senior Mu. Bonus reward unlocked: [True Dragon Body Refinement Technique]!”

Su Nan listened to the system’s announcements with growing frustration.

This damn Confession System kept clinging to him.

He never even wanted it in the first place, and yet it kept throwing stuff at him like it was doing him a favor!

And now it was unlocking “bonus love interests”?

Trying to get him to pick the most useful girl to mooch off of?

Su Nan ignored the system completely and walked straight into the nearby teleportation circle.

It was already noon.

A huge group of new students had been waiting here for over two hours.

“That Su Nan guy… don’t tell me he really died in the barrier?”

“Wouldn’t be surprised!”

“He’s gotta be dead by now, right?”

Many of the waiting students began imagining the worst after not seeing anyone exit the barrier for so long.

Xu Lang, standing to the side, remained calm and dismissive.

He didn’t believe for a second that a freshman could kill an A-rank ghost.

Most likely, Su Nan got caught up in something else—or worse, trapped inside.

Even the director, Xi Qinyu, had started to lean toward that possibility.

Su Nan had been inside for way too long.

It wasn’t looking good.

And yet—just then—

The barrier rippled softly with warm light, and Su Nan’s figure slowly emerged.

The moment he appeared, everyone’s eyes locked onto him.

Su Nan instinctively looked around—each gaze filled with a different meaning: surprise, doubt, admiration, jealousy…

He was very confused.

“Su Nan!”

Chang Xinxin and the rest of his team immediately rushed up with concern, surrounding him with questions.

Su Nan smiled and casually walked out of the barrier under their escort.

The moment he stepped out, Director Xi Qinyu pushed past the crowd of girls, face cold and clearly annoyed.

But when her eyes met Su Nan’s—those deep, starlit eyes—her tone immediately softened.

“Su Nan, what happened inside?”

Su Nan flashed a smile.

“Director.”

“Not much. Ran into an A-rank ghost. Had a bit of a fight.”

He casually pointed to the rips and wrinkles on his uniform like it was no big deal.

Xi Qinyu examined him carefully.

Once she confirmed he wasn’t hurt, she relaxed.

“‘A bit of a fight’? You mean you ran from it, right?”

A student next to Xu Lang scoffed:

“Otherwise, where’s your score badge?”

Su Nan looked down—and sure enough, the glowing score plate on his chest was gone.

“You probably got chased all over the place by that ghost and barely made it out alive. Now you wanna play the hero? Don’t act like you’re the real deal!”

Xu Lang’s teammate sneered again.

Su Nan didn’t bother to argue.

He simply turned to Xi Qinyu and asked:

“Director, I lost my badge.”

“No problem.”

Xi Qinyu gave him a gentle smile before turning back to the others, her face instantly cold.

“All student scores are backed up in the system. No one’s record will be lost.”

As her frosty gaze swept across the crowd, Xu Lang’s group immediately fell silent.

Xu Lang, though, kept staring at Su Nan, his brows furrowed.

‘This guy… is actually that handsome?’

‘Can’t you just rely on your face to get by instead?!’
