Chapter 21: Big Sister’s Pressure Is So Intense

Stepping out of the gaming pod, Bai Yue Ling collapsed onto her bed to rest for a moment before stripping down and heading into the shower.  

Whoosh…  

Standing under the showerhead, Bai Yue Ling swept her silver-white short hair back, hot water cascading down her graceful curves, droplets clinging to her long, snake-like legs.  

After cleaning up, she hopped into the bathtub. 

As her “big bunnies” floated in the water, an indescribable sense of freedom made her sigh contentedly.  

It’s been so long since I’ve had such a relaxing bath.  

Her body was relaxed, but her mind wouldn’t stop racing.  

Tomorrow, Sky Treader Guild would come for them. 

To say she wasn’t nervous would be a lie.  

They had a hundred people—how could she break through that?  

Bai Yue Ling blew bubbles in the water, letting her “bunnies” bounce freely on the surface, drifting with the ripples.  

Suddenly, she grabbed her phone to check the forum.  

On the forum’s homepage, a bold red headline screamed:  

[Tomorrow morning, Sky Treader Guild will punish the cheating player “Priest Hero.” All players are welcome to spectate.]  

Well, damn, a declaration of war, huh?  

Bai Yue Ling scrolled through the replies with interest.  

“A hundred people ganging up on two? This big guild doesn’t even care about saving face anymore.”  

“Priest Hero is suspected of cheating. I’m Team Sky Treader on this one.”  

“Even though it’s just two of them, if Priest Hero and Ying Ye play smart, they might pull off a counter-kill.”  

“Is the guy above an idiot? Two against a hundred—tell me how they win!”  

“Yeah, the server just opened. One basic attack from each Sky Treader member, and Priest Hero’s done for—might even owe a few extra lives.”  

The replies were almost unanimously pessimistic about Bai Yue Ling and Ying Ye’s chances. 

After all, 2 vs. 100 was a fifty-fold gap.  

Some even started a betting thread, wagering on tomorrow’s victor, with Priest Hero’s odds at a whopping 50 to 1, highlighting the absurd disparity.  

Bai Yue Ling chuckled, glancing at her forum account. 

It was newly registered, with only a measly 100 forum coins.  

Without hesitation, she bet all 100 coins on herself.  

“Yo, someone’s actually betting on Priest Hero? Never played the game before, huh?”  

“Gotta admire Sky Treader’s zerg tactics. That trash guild has nothing but numbers and money.”  

“I’ll toss in 1 coin. What if Priest Hero wins?”  

No sane person thought Bai Yue Ling could win.  

She didn’t care, yawning. 

“Don’t these people have better things to do than spam forums? Why not play the game?”  

Climbing out of the tub and drying off, Bai Yue Ling made herself dinner, ate, and slid back into the gaming pod.  

She decided to spend the entire night in World of Fate, though not staying up all night—players could sleep in the pod.

But Bai Yue Ling wasn’t one to rest easily. 

Until the “crossing her legs” crisis was resolved, she’d stay in World of Fate for long stretches.  

Entering the castle, she found Ming Die and Luoluo Yue huddled over a chess game.  

The table, board, and pieces were made of bone, slightly eerie, but the two didn’t care, focused intently on the game.  

“Why do I always lose to you?” Luoluo Yue scratched her head, fuming. 

“You must’ve tampered with the pieces when I wasn’t looking!”  

Ming Die rolled her smoky-makeup eyes. “You’re just too dumb.”  

Luoluo Yue’s ample chest heaved, her ears red with anger. 

“Nonsense! Back in the day, I was the top chess master of the succubus clan. How could I lose to a measly undead like you?!”  

Ming Die crossed her shapely legs casually. “It’s been over a thousand years. Your old tricks are outdated.”  

“No way, no way! You’re definitely cheating!” Luoluo Yue slammed the bone table to pieces and rolled on the floor. “No way, no way, no way…”  

Ming Die shrugged, turning to Bai Yue Ling. “Need something?”  

Bai Yue Ling’s face was blank. “I want to learn skills.”  

“None.”  

“I want to buy gear.”  

“None.”  

“I want to exchange gold.”  

“None.”  

Bai Yue Ling snapped, “You’re the novice village chief! How do you have nothing?!”  

Suddenly, Ming Die stood, lifting her voluptuous chest with both hands, and sauntered toward Bai Yue Ling.  

Facing the overwhelming presence of this big sister, Bai Yue Ling froze, her pink lips parting slightly, her white-snake legs instinctively retreating to the wall’s edge.

In terms of height, Ming Die towered over Bai Yue Ling; in terms of figure, she was equally dominant; and in personality, this true imperial sister completely outclassed the cheeky little girl.

“Little brat, you sure I’ve got nothing?” 

Ming Die leaned in, her icy breath brushing Bai Yue Ling’s face.

“Uh… y-you do, you do…”

Bai Yue Ling’s delicate frame trembled, her gaze darting between Ming Die’s curves and her own, finally lowering her head in defeat.

Damn it, I lost to a big sister again…

Ming Die gave a satisfied hum, pointing to Luoluo Yue, still rolling on the floor. 

“There’s a dummy right there. Take her and do whatever.”

Luoluo Yue froze, her heart-shaped pupils blinking in confusion. “Huh? What’s that?”

“Sigh, useless weakling…” Bai Yue Ling sighed. 

“A hundred otherworld travelers are coming to attack tomorrow. Got nothing better to do? Help out.”

Ming Die shook her head. “Otherworld traveler problems are your own to solve.”

Bai Yue Ling was about to retort when her eyes caught Ming Die’s imposing chest, silencing her. 

Instead, she turned to Luoluo Yue with a sly look. “Got anything I can borrow?”

“Me?” Luoluo Yue rummaged around, finally pulling a gem from somewhere on her body.

“Here, I don’t need this. Take it.”

The heart-etched pink gem emitted a faint fragrance. 

Bai Yue Ling sniffed it, squinting suspiciously. 

“Do all succubi… keep this gem in that place?”

“Haha, what are you talking about? I don’t get it!” 

Luoluo Yue laughed nervously, changing the subject. 

“By the way, how’s it going with that paladin?”

Bai Yue Ling shook her head. “Aiya’s level 30.”

“Level 30? Not that high,” Luoluo Yue said, patting her chest. 

“You, me, that assassin Ying Ye, and this useless necromancer Ming Die—we can take her!”

“Ming Die?” Bai Yue Ling glanced at her, tossing an appraisal skill.

She stood and headed outside.

Ying Ye stood there, smiling faintly at Bai Yue Ling.

“Little White, I won’t let you face this alone.”

Seeing Bai Yue Ling’s surprised look, Ying Ye waved her dagger. 

“Let’s prepare for tomorrow’s fight together.”

Staying by Bai Yue Ling’s side felt safer than logging off.

Under the moonlight, Bai Yue Ling’s lips parted, hesitating before finally saying:

“Level up to 8 in the forest first.”

“…Oh, okay.”
