Chapter 3: Senior Sister Has Changed, She’s Become So Unfamiliar

Ying Qingge lazily pressed herself against Su Chen’s back, her delicate feminine fragrance growing ever more intense, lingering at the tip of his nose.

The scent mingled with the medicinal aroma, but it couldn’t hide a certain senior sister’s ulterior motives.

Su Chen was stunned.

Senior Sister had changed—changed into someone so unfamiliar, so shameless!

What kind of person had she become over the years!?

Junior Brother’s heart aches!

Su Chen subtly grabbed her fair, jade-like hands, intending to ask his senior sister to show some restraint.

But then he felt the soft body pressed against him tremble slightly, accompanied by a faint fragrance. 

A soft murmur came from Ying Qingge’s lips.

“Little Junior Brother, seeing you alive again feels so wonderful.”

“You won’t leave Senior Sister again this time, will you?”

“It’s been ten years… this isn’t another dream, is it…?”

Hearing the faint whispers behind him, Su Chen, who had been about to resist, froze.

His frown softened into calm expression.

In the end, he couldn’t help but feel soft-hearted.

However, while Su Chen was lost in sentiment, a different scene unfolded behind him.

In a place he couldn’t see, a certain “pitiful, lonely, helpless, and weak” senior sister was sporting a terrifyingly obsessive grin.

There was no trace of sadness or sorrow in her expression, only—

‘Hmph! This time, Little Junior Brother, you absolutely can’t escape my grasp! No matter how many rivals there are, you can only belong to me, Ying Qingge!’

As dusk fell.

“Senior Sister, it’s getting dark. Why don’t we each return to our rooms and rest!”

Su Chen patted the senior sister still clinging to him, deliberately emphasizing “each return to our rooms”!

She claimed she was helping him scrub his back, but she’d been glued to him the entire afternoon.

Ying Qingge nodded lazily. 

Spending the afternoon pressed against her junior brother had left her utterly satisfied, reluctant to leave such a comfortable situation.

Sigh, if only those other women could see this—wouldn’t they be green with envy?

Just thinking about it made her feel even more delighted!

But considering Su Chen’s still-weak body couldn’t soak for too long, she reluctantly stood up.

Ying Qingge lightly clapped her hands, and soon a line of beautiful maids approached, presenting clothes.

“Come, Senior Sister will personally help you change.”

Ying Qingge smiled at Su Chen, moving to stand.

Looking at her curvaceous figure beneath the thin gauze, Su Chen didn’t even think twice before quickly holding her back.

“You’ve already taken such good care of me along the way; how could I trouble Senior Sister further? No need to bother, I’ll do it myself.”

With that, he grabbed the clothes from the maids and dashed behind the screen.

When he emerged, he saw that Ying Qingge still hadn’t gotten out of the hot spring.

Ying Qingge leaned lazily against the edge of the spring, her misty phoenix-like eyes, tinged by the steam, fixed on the figure behind the screen.

Seeing Su Chen come out, she said languidly,

“Little Junior Brother, if you’re tired, go back and rest.”

Su Chen glanced at Ying Qingge curiously, surprised that his senior sister wasn’t teasing him this time or suggesting they share a bed.

This was a good thing, though. 

Su Chen didn’t dwell on it, instead feeling relieved.

“Alright, Senior Sister, good night. I’ll head back to sleep.”

“Good night, Little Junior Brother,” she replied.

“Someone, escort the young master back to his room.”

A maid stepped forward, bowing respectfully to Ying Qingge before leading the way. 

“Young Master Su, please follow me.”

Su Chen hadn’t expected Ying Qingge to be so agreeable. After a moment’s hesitation, he followed the maid and left.

Watching Su Chen leave without looking back, Ying Qingge let out a soft hum, her gaze darkening as she stared at his retreating figure.

“Little Junior Brother, we have plenty of time ahead! And this… is my palace. Where could you possibly run to?”

At the same time.

Led by the maid, Su Chen soon arrived at a refined guest room.

Since waking up and facing his overwhelmingly assertive senior sister, he was mentally and physically exhausted, wanting nothing more than a good night’s sleep.

But before that, he needed to secure the doors and windows—protection against fire, theft, and Senior Sister.

After taking these precautions, sleepiness quickly overtook him.

Su Chen soon drifted into dreamland, completely unaware of a graceful figure expertly pushing open a hidden door.

In the middle of the night.

Half-asleep, Su Chen didn’t notice a soft, warm body slipping into his arms.

He only dreamed he was lying on a large, soft cloud that perfectly enveloped his face, though it was a bit stifling.

Feeling suffocated and unable to breathe, Su Chen raised his hand to push it away, but then a familiar, delicate cry reached his ears.

Why… did it sound so much like Senior Sister’s voice?!

With that thought, Su Chen snapped awake.

By the light of the bright moon, right in front of him—

A stunningly alluring woman, draped in thin gauze, her bare jade-like feet wrapped in black stockings, lay on her side at the other end of the bed, her exquisite face tinged with a hint of shyness.

It was none other than his senior sister, Ying Qingge!

At that moment.

A faint blush crossed Ying Qingge’s usually composed face, her usual noble and aloof demeanor replaced by a maiden’s coyness.

Ying Qingge looked up, her misty gaze fixed on Su Chen.

“Little Junior Brother, do you have to bully Senior Sister like this?”

Following her words, Su Chen came to his senses and noticed where his hand had landed.

“Ah, sorry, sorry!”

Su Chen quickly withdrew his hand, noticing a new mark on her fair skin.

A flash of regret crossed Ying Qingge’s eyes— ‘Why did she remind him?’

Immediately after.

Feeling guilty, Su Chen suddenly realized something.

“Wait, Senior Sister, how did you get in here?”

He distinctly remembered locking the doors and windows before sleeping, specifically to prevent a certain senior sister from sneaking in.

Yet somehow, she’d still managed to infiltrate his room?

Ying Qingge covered her face and giggled, finding her junior brother adorable.

“Little Junior Brother, this entire place is my domain. Is there anywhere your Senior Sister, the master, can’t go?”

Su Chen’s mouth twitched, realizing he’d asked a pointless question.

After some thought, he asked without much hope, “Senior Sister, I’m used to sleeping alone…”

As expected, Ying Qingge shut him down immediately. 

“Senior Sister is worried you won’t sleep well, so I came to warm your bed. After all, Little Junior Brother is my most important guest! As your host, how could I not take good care of you?”

Su Chen really wanted to say, ‘Letting me sleep alone without disturbing me is the best hospitality.’

But seeing Ying Qingge’s attitude, he knew he couldn’t convince her.

And this time, his senior sister felt… different.

Or rather, she was nothing like before!

The senior sister he once knew might have teased him, but she respected boundaries and had a sense of propriety. 

But this one… she practically wanted to devour him!

As an aspiring young man, Su Chen declared—

“If you won’t leave, I will!”
