The two dragons instantly lost their cool. Even if she wasn’t their race’s Ultimate Being, she was still an Ultimate Being. The Dragon King earned her title and position through raw power—no one dared question her.
The dragons in the clan thought becoming an Ultimate Being made her unstoppable. Little did they know, while she was an Ultimate Being, among the old monsters in that tier, she was still a newbie, not even 5,000 years in.
One’s the world’s first; the other’s a rookie Ultimate Being. To take on “Filo,” you’d need to drag out a super-ancient Dragon King to even stand a chance, right?
“Alright, alright, stop freaking out. I’m not here to wreck your home. Your Dragon King… yeah, that was an accident. But don’t worry, I’m not some evil vampire. Just take her and go.”
Filo waved her hand in front of the dragons. They blinked, finally snapping out of it, exchanging awkward glances. Stiffly, they lifted the Dragon King from Chiyan’s back.
They still couldn’t believe this black-haired beauty was their Dragon King. In their minds, she was supposed to be male. Why turn human as a female?
But if the True Ancestor said it, it must be true. Man, the Dragon King got wrecked—so bad they’d have to sneak her back through the back door to avoid other dragons seeing.
“W-Well, we’ll go then. Bye.” The dragons stammered, spread their wings with a whoosh, and took off.
They started slow, then flew faster and faster, finally breaking the sound barrier, fleeing Filo’s sight like they were escaping.
Bingpo, beside Filo, twitched her lips. She knew these dragons—or rather, in the dragon race, they were second only to the Dragon King in fame.
Sky Dragon, Albas, Level 920!
Nether Dragon, Bagu, Level 921!
[Tyrant] title holders, absolute powerhouses with strength to crush great sages—rare dragons above level 900.
Normally, they rolled with the Dragon King, keeping the Dragon World’s fragile order. Once, a reckless dragon caused trouble, and the Nether Dragon obliterated it without a word. The Sky Dragon’s temper wasn’t much better.
Yet, before Filo, these [Tyrants] had zero attitude. Master’s just that awesome!
Bingpo clasped her hands, eyes sparkling with stars. Chiyan stretched hard, her armpits going crack crack.
The crack crack made Bingpo freeze, a nagging feeling she’d forgotten something.
Forgotten what? No way she forgot anything—her memory was legendary, slip-ups countable on one hand.
She glanced aside and saw her portable kitchen and prepped dishes, now all “scraps.”
“…”
“My… my… my dishes…”
Bingpo knelt before the ruined food, hands scooping it up. She didn’t cry, but her face looked worse than crying.
As Filo and Chiyan tried to console her, Bingpo’s frantic reaction stopped, replaced by terrifying killing intent.
She snapped her head up, roaring at the sky.
“Dragon King, you dog! Give me back my dishes!!!”
[Congratulations, Bingpo has acquired the special skill: Curse!]
[Skill upgraded: Curse LV1 → LV2!]
[Skill upgraded: Curse LV2 → LV3!]
…
[Skill upgraded: Curse LV6 → LV7!]
Far off, the Dragon King, carried by the two dragons, started glitching wildly. The dragons stopped, baffled, staring at the twitching beauty.
Nether Dragon: “Damn, this beauty—er, Dragon King—what’s wrong?”
Sky Dragon: “Uh, probably cursed. Not too evil, though—it’ll wear off soon.”
Nether Dragon: “Who did it?”
Sky Dragon: “Who did it?”
“…”
“…”
They locked eyes, silent, sweat dripping like waterfalls.
No words needed—they knew exactly who was behind this.
Ultimate Beings aren’t pushovers. The Dragon King’s curse resistance was likely level 6, so it’d take at least a level 7 curse to hit.
Curses are creepy, hard to learn, and leveled up not normally but with grudges—so few master it.
“The True Ancestor… too terrifying.”
Both dragons thought the same thing. If Filo knew, she’d probably spew profanities. This wasn’t her fault! Well, maybe a tiny bit—her fight with the Dragon King trashed Bingpo’s dishes, but that’s not the point!
Cursing? That’s not something a Salted-Fish King like Filo would do. At most, she’d want to punch someone—except the goddess, who’s not a person and too far to punch. So, Filo just mentally curses her with a circle.
It took a lot of talking to calm Bingpo’s rampage. They promised to go to Bingpo and Chiyan’s home, let Bingpo cook again, and Filo swore to eat it all. Only then did Bingpo chill.
“Really?”
“Really!”
“You’ll eat it all?”
“Truer than pearls.”
“Awesome, awesome, awesome! Let’s go now!!!” Bingpo sprang up, fully revived, transforming into her dragon form.
She twisted her head to her back, hyped. “Master, hop on! I’ll fly full speed home!”
Filo shook her head with a half-smile, lightly jumping onto Bingpo’s back. With a bang, Bingpo shot into the sky like a blue meteor.
Chiyan, left behind, blinked, dumbfounded. By the time she reacted, Bingpo was kilometers away.
“Wait, wait for me!!!”
