The force of the giant arrow sent a powerful shockwave through Lie Lie’s huge body, almost knocking her off balance. The group nearly tumbled off her back, dangling dangerously over the void.

Bai Yue Zero quickly clung on, shouting, “What happened?”

Zijing Yue yelled, “Someone in the distant town is firing a gigantic bow at us!”

Vicky squinted at the direction the arrow came from, her pupils contracting in shock as she cried, “It’s her… Why is she here?!”

A colossal wooden bow stood on the distant city wall like a mountain. A short-haired woman in hunting gear hefted a wooden arrow taller than a person, locking on to the distant dragon as a hunter would her prey. She drew the bowstring to the limit and fired!

The gigantic arrow shot through the sky like lightning, once again aiming straight for the dragon—about to pierce its belly in the blink of an eye!

Suddenly, a crisp and heavy sound like a hammer on steel rang out!

Shadow Night clung to the dragon’s back with her grappling hook, then leaped into the air, her thin skirt fluttering wildly in the wind. In an instant, she slashed her blade, knocking the speeding arrow aside!

“Don’t worry about me! Hurry and land!” 

Shadow Night hoisted her blood-soaked, nearly numb right hand, her eyes fierce.

“I’ll hold her off!”

Meanwhile, in the distance, the woman called Yajian let out a soft exclamation, a hint of surprise in her voice.
