Baiya and the others moved cautiously toward the west side of the transport ship, the forest providing enough cover for their advance. The journey was mostly uneventful.
When she saw the towering steel wall, Baiya realized she was near the ship’s edge. She hid herself behind the massive trunk of a dried-up tree, then looked up at the top of the wall, where a squad of soldiers was patrolling.
“Binoculars.” Baiya reached out behind her, grabbing at thin air, then turned around with a confused expression.
“Big Sister Baiya, we don’t have anything like that…” the girl explained quietly.
Baiya was silent for a moment. Not having the right tools was her mistake. She’d wanted to observe the soldiers’ equipment, but it looked like she’d have to give up on that.
After watching for a while, Baiya gathered everyone for a final battle meeting.
“Food, water, a map, and the ship—for us to survive, we need these,” Baiya said seriously to the group. “I have two plans. First, climb the wall, defeat all the soldiers, occupy the west side of the transport ship, and take whatever resources are there. Since there are only eight of us, this plan is just for daydreaming, so everyone can lighten up a bit.”
“So, what’s the second plan?” Kukuluo asked timidly, raising her hand. The others nodded at her, looking to Baiya expectantly, waiting for the Savior’s answer.
“Of course, I’ll be the one who—”
Just as Baiya was about to say what she thought was the obvious method, a sudden, unbearable stabbing pain shot through her head.
It felt as if someone had driven a long needle deep into the top of her skull. She couldn’t help but clutch her head and fall to her knees, her crimson pupils shrinking to needlepoints as she let out a howl of pain.
“Big Sister Baiya!” “Savior!” “Miss Baiya!”…
The panicked voices around her became distant. Scene after scene flashed through Baiya’s mind, countless voices filled her head—men! Women! Children! The elderly! Voices pleading, mocking, criticizing, cursing, begging!
“It hurts, it hurts! Stop! Stop it! Let me go!” Tears welled from Baiya’s crimson right eye. She rolled on the ground, not caring about the mud that covered her or the sharp rocks that sliced her skin again and again, adding wound after wound. None of it mattered; only the pain on her face grew deeper.

…
“Th-this is!” Some clarity returned to Baiya. Suddenly, she seemed to understand something, but in the next second, the pain swallowed up her thoughts.
Memories! Massive memories surged into her mind, stronger than ever before. The story clearly wasn’t finished, so why was something like this happening now?!
“Hey, hey, hey! Is this really okay?! Does it not matter if there are spoilers? Who even allows this, damn it!” Baiya felt she was on the verge of going insane. All the voices in her ears clung to her like ghosts, driving her to the brink.
“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!” Baiya stopped rolling and pushed herself up, banging her head hard against the ground. In no time, blood was pouring from her forehead.
Still not enough! This pain did nothing to slow her crumbling consciousness. Baiya was completely at a loss as to what to do.
Was she really going to be tormented to death like this? Even if she survived, she might turn mad. Was this the work of that god named Fiya? No, not her!
Baiya staggered to her feet like a corpse brought back to life. Her limbs twitched, her face twisted between crying and laughing, white foam bubbling at her mouth.
“Aaaah! Damn it! Die! You can all just die!”
Before anyone could stop her, Baiya smashed headfirst into the nearest tree. Her body slumped, limp as mud, and she collapsed to the ground, face covered in blood, unconscious.
“Big Sister Baiya!”
When Baiya awoke, the back of her head was resting on something soft. Looking up, she saw a girl’s tear-streaked face above her, full of worry.
Making a loli cry… I really am a terrible person, Baiya thought to herself.
She wanted to say she was fine, but her gaze was suddenly drawn to something she couldn’t look away from.
Strangely, a golden-framed panel appeared beside the girl, displaying—

…
There were so many things to complain about that Baiya didn’t even know where to start. As each fighter approached her, a golden-framed panel floated by their side, with bold red text recording all their stats and abilities.
Baiya stared, lost in thought. The fighters, seeing Baiya looking blankly into the air, worried that she still wasn’t in her right mind. Their hearts were heavy—if something happened to the Savior, their future was bleak.
“Can’t you see it?” Baiya pointed to Tabu’s side, where she saw a particularly dazzling golden-framed panel.
Tabu looked in the direction Baiya pointed, saw nothing out of the ordinary, and shook his head honestly.
The others stared at Tabu for a while, then looked around. They were still at the edge of the forest, nothing seemed amiss.
So the Savior really isn’t in her right mind…
“So that’s it. Only I can see this? Is this a privilege just for me?” Baiya muttered to herself so quietly only she could hear. This suddenly awakened ability didn’t make her happy—on the contrary, it filled her with anxiety.
Thinking back to the earlier anomaly, Baiya was sure this new ability was related. She checked her own memories.
The storylines of all five [SLAVE] arcs—she remembered them perfectly. She’d guessed right! The massive influx of memories was tied to rescuing the original Baiya’s life!
Besides that, Baiya also found herself with other complex memories: the geography, history, culture, and common sense of the [SLAVE] world—every field was covered. She now possessed the most comprehensive knowledge.
With the ability to read others’ information, Baiya felt like a walking encyclopedia.
“This is crazy. Why did this happen?”
Baiya found that, with a single thought, the personal info panels would fade and become invisible. If she focused on someone, the panel would reappear.
She tried to check her own stats. In a moment, a colorful-framed panel appeared before her, displaying—
Baiya Ifir Clorom, age fourteen, born in Ail, Magic Power: Pseudo-Bronze Rank, Battle Aura: None, Human.

…
Strength: 4
…
In the end, she was still a weakling whose combat power might not even reach five. Baiya regretted checking her basic stats; self-awareness was something she’d rather not have right now.
“Such a convenient ability. Now it finally feels like a game. Interesting.” Baiya breathed a sigh of relief. For now, she wouldn’t overthink it. Since these memories and this ability were nothing but helpful, she would make full use of them.
“Let’s hope nothing big goes wrong…” Baiya muttered at last. She gestured to the fighters that she was fine and normal, but they still looked worried, clearly not convinced by her words.
Her earlier state had really scared them. Baiya felt powerless about this.
But there was no time for them to adjust. Baiya could only put aside her unease, ignore the strange memories for now, force herself to rally, and lead her fighters onward.
“Time is short. We’re going with the second plan: I’ll lure all the soldiers away. You gather food and water, then take the lifeboat and escape.”
As for the map, there was no need to worry. The compass on the lifeboat would serve instead. Baiya remembered the [SLAVE] world map and knew the transport ship was already in the sea near Amidal. As long as they found the right direction, the simple map she’d make would be more than enough.
