Chapter 4: The First Time

“Little one, what’s wrong? Don’t be afraid. I’m here, and I’ll protect you.”

As if sensing her unease, the other party hurried to comfort her in a soft voice.

Xing Lian’s mood improved slightly, and a look of gratitude appeared on her face.

“Th… thank you.”

She offered her thanks politely, but as soon as the words left her mouth, she froze.

She hadn’t noticed it before, but now she suddenly realized something was wrong. 

‘Is my voice a bit off? Why has it become so soft and delicate?’

A sliver of inexplicable panic bubbled up in her heart. 

Right then…

“Hehe, you’re welcome.”

The owner of the gentle voice chuckled, and Xing Lian felt a hand stroking the top of her head.

It wasn’t a human hand; it felt furry. 

Xing Lian felt even more panicked.

What exactly was this being that had saved her? 

Was it really human?

But if it wasn’t human, how could it speak?

As her mind raced with wild thoughts, the gentle female voice spoke again.

“Little one, are you hungry? I have some fruit here. Eat them quickly.”

As she finished speaking, several round objects rolled to her side.

Being prompted like this made Xing Lian suddenly realize how hungry she was.

Now that she thought about it, it had been a very long time since she had last eaten.

Xing Lian licked her lips and picked up a fruit from the ground.

The reason she had to “pick it up” by hugging it was that the fruit was simply too large; she couldn’t even hold it with two hands.

A certain someone never considered that the fruit wasn’t too big, but rather that she herself had become smaller.

Xing Lian’s nose twitched as a sweet, fresh fragrance wafted toward her. 

She salivated with craving and immediately opened her mouth to eat.

“Crunch.”

With a single bite, sweet juice flooded her mouth. 

The delicious flesh brought joy to her heart and mind, and her eyes couldn’t help but narrow into crescent moons.

Because she was blind, Xing Lian couldn’t use a phone or a computer, nor could she read books. 

She had very few forms of entertainment, so every time she ate, it became a form of enjoyment.

She liked to savor the taste of food slowly, as it made her feel as though she were still alive.

However, since no one cared for or loved her, she had never eaten anything particularly good. 

The fruit in her hands was exquisite — the most delicious thing she had ever tasted.

Because she was hungry and truly loved the taste, Xing Lian actually managed to eat the entire fruit.

Still not satisfied after finishing it, she ate a second one. 

After consuming two fruits, she patted her belly in satisfaction.

The gentle female voice spoke once more, “You look so small, yet I didn’t expect you to be quite the eater.”

Xing Lian’s face turned red instantly at the comment.

“Th… that… please don’t misunderstand. I’m not usually like this. I was just too hungry.”

Xing Lian explained in a flustered hurry, worried that she would be disliked for eating too much.

“Hehe, there’s no need to explain. I have plenty of food. I have more than enough to raise you. Besides, eating a lot means you have great potential and high physical flexibility. That way, I won’t have to worry about hurting you.”

Hearing the first half, Xing Lian felt very shy.

‘Does she know what she’s saying? We’re strangers… why did she suddenly say she’d raise me?’

But when she heard the second half, she immediately lost her composure.

Physical flexibility? 

Hurting her? 

What did those words mean?

Xing Lian opened her eyes wide, looking at her with a face full of confusion.

Fei looked at the cute little thing before her and could no longer restrain herself.

Previously, she had felt the little one’s body was too small and delicate to endure her, but looking at it now, the little one had quite a bit of potential. 

She might not necessarily be unable to withstand it.

Furthermore, the little one had just eaten, and her physical strength had been replenished. In that case…

“Agh!”

Xing Lian had always harbored a doubt about whether the person who saved her was human or not.

Now, she no longer had to wonder, because she had learned the truth — the other party definitely was not human.

A fox tail wrapped around her waist and dragged her over directly. 

Then…

“Ahhh, my clothes! No…”

The young girl let out a melodious yet sobbing cry that echoed continuously throughout the silent cave.

She didn’t know how much time had passed, but when Xing Lian’s consciousness returned and she regained control of her body, she felt an immense wave of exhaustion.

“Is it… finally over?” Xing Lian murmured to herself.

Everything that had just happened made her shudder; it felt like a dream.

That terrifying fox tail, the pain and the pleasure arriving at once — just thinking about it for a moment made her legs tremble uncontrollably.

‘Damn it, that was too much! Truly… such a…’

Xing Lian was so angry she wanted to curse, but she had never learned any swear words, so she could only mutter under her breath without any insults coming out.

‘Speaking of that woman, where was she? Where did she go?’

Worried that the other party was still around, Xing Lian propped herself up to escape. 

However, as soon as her body moved, she felt incredibly weak and sore, and there was a dull ache between her legs.
