Come to think of it, living under the same roof, one should maintain appropriate distance and respect.
So Keliya quickly came up with a reason.
“Weiwei just finished bathing and might catch a cold. It’s better to let her wash alone. The bathroom isn’t big anyway, and two people would just be inconvenient.”
Weiwei heard this and immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
“Right, right, right!”
She quickly nodded in agreement.
“It’s more comfortable washing alone, and we won’t disturb each other.”
Jun Yisha thought about it and agreed it made sense.
“Alright, you young people have your habits. I won’t say much more. Weiwei, go take a bath first. Keliya, stay and chat with me for a bit.”
Weiwei happily ran to the bathroom.
After closing the door, she let out a long sigh of relief.
At last she didn’t have to worry about being disturbed.
The hot water slowly fell, washing away the fatigue of the day.
While bathing, Weiwei thought about what had happened today.
Although Keliya usually liked to bicker with her, she was actually quite reliable in critical moments.
Thinking of this, she couldn’t help but smile softly.
Meanwhile, in the living room.
Jun Yisha picked up her teacup and looked at Keliya.
“To be honest, I’m a bit worried about you two.”
“Worried about what?”
“You two clearly have a good relationship, but you always like to compete with each other.”
Keliya was silent for a moment.
“Does she think the same way too?”
“Who knows?” Jun Yisha smiled.
“But in my opinion, you actually care about each other.”
Keliya looked down at the book in her hands and didn’t reply.
Jun Yisha continued.
“The most important thing between people is honesty. If you have any thoughts, say them properly.”
“I know.”
“Knowing and doing are two different things.”
Keliya sighed helplessly.
“Why are you acting like a teacher today?”
“Because you two are both too stubborn.”
The living room suddenly became quiet.
After a while, Weiwei came back from her bath.
Drying her hair, she looked at the two curiously.
“What are you two talking about?”
“Secret.”
Jun Yisha deliberately kept them guessing.
“What secret?”
“I’ll tell you later.”
Weiwei puffed out her cheeks.
“Auntie loves to keep secrets the most.”
Jun Yisha laughed heartily.
Watching the two bicker, she suddenly felt that this plain and ordinary life was actually quite nice.
At least, it was much warmer than the atmosphere she had imagined when she first entered.
The night grew deeper.
The three chatted for a while longer, then each went to their rooms to rest.
The lights in the rooms went out one by one.
A quiet night finally descended slowly.
