Seeing no one around, she lifted her skirt to her waist, revealing a mark on her abdomen: a pair of jet-black wings topped with a dark halo.

Behind Fallen Angel, the words “Mythic-tier” stood out boldly.

She froze.

She recalled that even Angels were only Legendary-tier, the highest-quality race she’d seen in her nine loops.

Yet Fallen Angel surpassed Legendary, reaching the pinnacle: Mythic-tier.

“Is Fallen Angel higher than Angel because Dark Fall is some kind of enhancement?” 

Bai Yue Ling keenly noted.

“Enhancement? Once you’ve fully Dark Fallen someone, you’ll understand,” 

The black-haired woman’s voice purred, cold as the night.

Warriors could wield greatswords to solo dungeons, assassins could stealth and backstab, archers could snipe from miles away, and mages… 

Well, mages could do just about anything.

Unlike these traditional classes, Priests played a passive role, with most skills being support-oriented, typically leveling only in groups.

In World of Fate, class roles were fixed, with advanced class changes only available every 20 levels, restricted to paths related to the base class.

“System, you’ve screwed me over!” 

Bai Yue Ling wailed. 

“I could’ve fought back against those older sisters with another class, but a Priest? How am I supposed to survive?!”

It wasn’t that she disrespected Priests.

As a veteran of ten loops, she knew their importance better than anyone.

But for someone like Bai Yue Ling, who preferred going solo and constantly battled lustful older sisters, Priest was the worst possible choice.

“Priests have no future,” 

The black-haired woman’s voice murmured.

Bai Yue Ling sighed.

The black-haired woman began, but her voice weakened.

Munching on fruit, she neared the forest’s edge when a faint cry for help came from behind.

The voice sounded familiar.

Bai Yue Ling turned instinctively—and stepped right into a vine trap.

A python-thick vine snared her, hoisting her into the air.

A nearby tree, several meters thick, split open, revealing a gaping maw that let out a sinister laugh.

On the other side, a black-clad girl struggled against vines, unable to escape being dragged toward the monster’s mouth.

“She’s the one calling for help. The enemy… a Level 5 Tree demon?” 

Bai Yue Ling took a deep breath, her staff glowing with radiant light. 

“I’m only Level 1, but let’s see if this 99-Spirit Holy Light Orb can take you down.”

As mana surged, she aimed her staff at the Tree demon, Holy Light Orb ready to fire.

Squinting in the orb’s glow, she glimpsed the black-clad girl’s face.

A beautiful, familiar, nightmarish face—the last person she wanted to see.

Bai Yue Ling froze, instinctively pressing her thighs together.

“Wait… you’re…!”
