Hearing my answer, the first floor’s system prompt went silent. Was it good enough? Sure, you could say it’s perfect, but…
After mulling it over forever, even ready to call it a fail, I sighed again, “Ugh.”
“Aaah! Sorry, sorry! My answer—yo, I beg to change it!” I raised my hand, bowing, mouth V-shaped.
The first floor’s system prompt responded.
After a pause, it still thought my question was off-putting. “Not great to be annoying. How about… swap out one person for a trip!” Five people, one leaves—perfect split, right?
The system went silent again.
The fail was so loud, Bingpo overheard from her side. She facepalmed, finger on her cheek.
“No way, this is genius…” Bingpo muttered, touching her face. If she wasn’t so embarrassed, she’d call it “dad-level” brilliance—straight-up IQ 250 success.
Bingpo blurted her own answer, her fears melting like bubbles.
As warmth seeped from her ice, Bingpo stepped out. Filo sighed in relief—Bingpo’s fine, so the rest should pass, right?
Filo couldn’t see what Bingpo did in there, only the phenomenon she crossed. She just watched liquid drip from Bingpo’s ice, nearly crying over the marks on herself, thinking, Hope the question’s not messed up. Crap, don’t let it go wrong.
Filo watched the ice melt, her white shirt with butterfly knots falling loose, signaling the end.
This was the mortal world, but it was the ancient white dragons’ last home—and graveyard.
Maybe this task couldn’t be taken by others, not even friends, family, or kin…
The white dragon felt a chill in her heart, glancing at Filo. “White Dragon’s Heart, you’re my only kin left. I’m your ancestor, but even I can’t just declare victory. This test’s simple, but the magic’s weak, so that redhead’s not lucky enough…”
The white dragon was busting her ass to explain for safety!
Filo sighed at her words, turning to her. “I trust you, thanks. I’m confident in them for these tests. Don’t worry, I won’t rush in.”
“Nice, all good, having a blast—nine bottles down and still going!” The white dragon took a swig, both eyeing the girl.
As the ice melted, the beach they hadn’t seen in ages turned green. But the ice melted differently—not like the beach, just… cracked.
With a shattering sound, the ice’s essence melted on the spot, hiding what just happened.
“Haha, what? I passed the first floor? No way, my answer’s flawless—no reason to fail!” Chiyan learned her lesson, controlling the glowing ice around her to recover her stalled steps.
“Sorry, I beat you to it, but that doesn’t mean you’re smarter. I’m faster ‘cause you’re slow. I answer way quicker!” Chiyan whipped out a handkerchief, her “fix-it” artifact.
Chiyan spat out her native tongue, ignoring Bingpo’s chanting like a monk.
She sighed again, taking another swig. If they kept drinking together, they’d get plastered. Gotta chill to keep the courage for the next test—drinking won’t help these hotheads.
In their sights, a huge light ring appeared—obviously the next floor’s entrance.
Chiyan dove in without hesitation. The moment she hit the ring, her body vanished from the stage, the game slowly wrapping up. Both passed the first floor, landing in the second.
“Ice Cube, you stole the lead—huh? What’re you looking at? Whoa, huge head!” Bingpo followed Chiyan’s gaze, spotting a massive object in the sky.
The giant halo was a single-color contrast. This planet’s dragon was at least 900 meters tall, but its glow didn’t steal its aura—just a low, humming presence.
“Badass dragon… what the hell happened back then? Such a beast in here. We gotta ask Mom and Dad when we’re back. If they don’t know, we’ll ask Master…” Chiyan mused, dying to find out.
Beside her, Chiyan’s shadow multiplied, turning white-hot, rushing to the dragon’s side, absorbing the halo’s energy.
Then, the dragon’s body, like the tower, erupted with a strange stone, three words scrawled on it.

A choice?
Chiyan thought, picking the intelligence test. As she started, the lights flared up.
“Haha, brains? No prob. I’m the little genius, with an IQ of 250! Bring it on!”
Suddenly, Bingpo’s shadow zoomed in, kicking Chiyan’s face, sending her crashing into the second floor’s wall.
Bang!!!
“Damn, why’d you kick me? (ノへ ̄)”
“Moron, you got no clue about your own IQ!”
