Chapter 62: Women Fighting is the Best Spectacle

A towering figure over two meters tall, clad in heavy armor like a walking tin can, stood in their way. 

Anyone would feel intimidated.

“Who are you, meddling busybody?”

“I’m Silver Fang, a level 12 Fighter.”

The four members of Blood Era surrounded the one called Silver Fang, sizing her up carefully.

Her black armor was like an impregnable iron fortress, heavy and unyielding, covering even her face so completely that no features were visible. 

Breaking through such sturdy armor with brute force would likely require heavy weapons like greatswords, greataxes, or giant scythes.

As it happened, one of them wielded a giant scythe.

“Heh… Silver Fang, huh? Listen up, I’m Xuejianhua,” said a short-haired girl in a red hunting outfit, drawing a blood-red scythe as tall as a person, sneering at Silver Fang.

“Wearing such heavy gear, you must be exhausted just walking. You sure you can even move?”

“Try me,” Silver Fang replied, her voice muffled and buzzing through the armor.

Another member pulled out a flail tethered with a chain, spinning it rapidly. 

“No more talk! Big Sis is still inside—let’s make this quick!”

As she spoke, the other two stepped back, each drawing a staff from their waists.

One waved her staff, magic condensing in the air, summoning a slime moments later. 

The other chanted swiftly, forming a fireball that she hurled at the slime.

With a boom, the slime was engulfed in roaring flames, writhing and struggling.

But surprisingly, it didn’t die. Instead, it mutated in the fire, transforming into a flaming slime. 

Blazing flames surged across its body, and at the summoner’s command, it slithered toward Silver Fang in a fierce assault.

Meanwhile, the flail-wielder crouched low, aiming for Silver Fang’s ankles, swinging the spinning flail with force. 

Xuejianhua leaped high, her scythe’s blade glinting coldly in the sunlight, slashing toward Silver Fang’s face.

Their coordination was seamless—one restricted movement with the flail, while the other aimed for the head, every move exuding the ruthless precision of seasoned PKers.

Strike without warning—that was Blood Era’s style.

Facing the ferocious onslaught, Silver Fang, despite her heavy armor, leapt nimbly into the air. 

Her toes deftly caught the flail’s chain mid-swing, and in a jaw-dropping midair backflip, she kicked the flail toward Xuejianhua in a perfect upside-down hook.

The sequence unfolded like a cinematic stunt, all in the blink of an eye.

As the flail hurtled toward her face like a soccer ball, Xuejianhua’s expression changed. 

She instinctively raised her scythe to shield herself.

Clang! The flail collided with the scythe, the impact sending Xuejianhua crashing downward, landing squarely on the flaming slime.

“Ow! Hot, hot, hot!” 

Xuejianhua jumped up, frantically patting out the flames on her rear, fuming. 

“What’s wrong with you? Couldn’t you hold onto the chain?”

The flail-wielder innocently held up the chain, now snapped in two. 

“Her strength was too much.”

She broke the chain with a single kick?

The four Blood Era members stared in disbelief at Silver Fang, standing calmly nearby, their hearts racing with unease.

To move so agilely in such heavy armor… Did this giant put all her points into Strength?

From Silver Fang kicking the flail, to the flail hitting Xuejianhua, to Xuejianhua crashing into the slime—it was all so precise, it seemed almost choreographed. 

Was this a coincidence?

Whether it was or not, the four realized this Silver Fang was no ordinary opponent—a battle-hardened expert.

Not just a gaming expert, but someone with real-world fighting skills and razor-sharp combat instincts.

“Want to keep going?” Silver Fang’s muffled voice rumbled.

“Tch…” Xuejianhua clicked her tongue. 

“I hate people like you. Why not go be an urban warlord in the real world instead of stirring up trouble in a game?”

Silver Fang replied, “That’s the charm of full-dive games. Even someone like me, who never played games before, can bring real-world skills into the game.”

“Tch… No point fighting a balance-breaking freak like you,” 

Xuejianhua scoffed. “Let’s go!”

“Hold on.” Silver Fang blocked their path. 

“You beat someone up and think you can leave without an apology?”

The frail girl, who had endured their earlier beating, was still half-kneeling, wiping her wounds with her clothes, softly sobbing.

“Apologize?” Xuejianhua laughed. 

“You want me to apologize to that trash? On what grounds?”

“These,” Silver Fang said, raising her head-sized iron fists. “No apology, and I’ll beat you.”

As she spoke, a tremendous force surged from her fist, blasting toward Xuejianhua’s face.

Boom!

The powerful gust scattered Xuejianhua’s red hair. 

Stunned, she belatedly noticed a figure blocking the punch for her.

“Big… Big Sis.”

Xueyu, her leather jacket adorned with deep red arm gauntlets, stood with arms crossed, having blocked the fierce punch just in time.

She glared back at Xuejianhua. 

“Useless. It’s just some trash with a bit of fighting skill, and you’re already scared?”

Xuejianhua lowered her head and stepped back silently.

“You’re their leader?” Silver Fang asked. 

“Your people did something wrong. Apologize to that girl.”

“Her?” Xueyu glanced at the frail girl, sneering. “Thanks for the reminder. After I kill you, I’ll take her out too.”

“Sorry, then.”

Silver Fang pushed Xueyu’s right arm aside, stepping forward and unleashing another heavy punch.

But Xueyu didn’t retreat. 

With a cold snort, five icy claws shot out from her fingertips, flashing like lightning toward Silver Fang’s neck.

As the claws sliced through the air, they sparked faintly, piercing precisely into the gap at Silver Fang’s neck. 

Blood gushed like a waterfall.

Silver Fang clutched her neck, staggering back, but Xueyu gave her no respite. 

She lunged forward, aiming for the head, and knocked Silver Fang to the ground.

Straddling Silver Fang’s chest like a fierce leopardess, Xueyu’s fists rained down like a storm, each blow threatening to shatter the massive black armor.

Silver Fang struggled to rise but couldn’t shake Xueyu off, her relentless attacks offering no openings.

Just as Silver Fang seemed doomed, a squad of NPC guards arrived, shouting, 

“Stop! No fighting in the Royal Capital!”

Xueyu snorted, lightly hopping back, brushing off the armor fragments on her gauntlets. 

“You won’t be so lucky next time.”

Silver Fang took a deep breath, executing a nimble backflip to stand, clutching her damaged armor in confusion. 

“Strange. No weapon like that exists in reality, and even if it did, it couldn’t pierce my armor.”

She was still thinking in real-world terms, struggling to adapt to the game’s combat style.

Unfazed, Silver Fang declared, “Once I get better gear, I’ll come find you again.”

Xueyu replied coolly, “Anytime.”

As the guards dispersed the crowd, the intense skirmish seemed to draw to a close.

The onlookers, reluctant to leave, had witnessed a high-stakes fight. 

Both Xueyu and Silver Fang displayed top-tier combat skills, easily ranking among Destiny World’s top ten.

As the crowd began to scatter, Xueyu suddenly locked eyes with a certain white-haired, curvy girl across the way.

“Priest Hero, the Adventurer’s Association is right here. Where do you think you’re hiding?”
