Lilith did not wait for them to answer.
She did not even wait for Lynn to react.
The moment she said, “Come with me,” there was no longer any room for the other two women in her world.
In the air, something made a faint cracking sound.
It was not glass, nor was it rock.
It was space itself.
With Lilith and Lynn at the center, pitch-black fissures appeared out of thin air, like strokes of a clumsy painter’s brush across a canvas.
These cracks traced an irregular sphere on the ruined ground, across broken walls, and through the dust in the air, enveloping the three of them within.
The world outside the rifts began to twist and deform.
Vivian’s and Alicia’s faces were stretched and then flattened, as if viewed through shimmering water.
“Spatial Magic?”
For the first time, Vivian’s expression changed — not with anger, but with a shock that touched upon the unknown.
How could such a forbidden power, something that existed only in legends, appear in an obscure little girl?
“Tricks of an Evil God!”
The Holy Light in Alicia’s hands surged.
Without hesitation, she hurled a condensed ball of light toward the spatial rift.
When the Holy Light touched the pitch-black crack, there was no explosion and no sound.
It was simply swallowed, like a drop of water falling into a desert.
Alicia’s pupils contracted.
Her Purification Light was useless against this power!
“Stop right there!”
Vivian’s reaction was faster; action always preceded thought for her.
She abandoned her useless threats, and the longsword in her hand erupted with brilliant Battle Qi.
Following her blade, she transformed into a streak of light, lunging straight toward the severed space!
She would use the Empire’s sharpest spear to pierce this absurd cage!
*Clang — !*
A deafening roar erupted.
Vivian was thrown back by an invisible force, stumbling several steps before she could steady herself.
Her sword arm trembled slightly, and her palm had split, oozing blood.
Where she had struck with all her might, the black fissure only wobbled slightly.
It was indestructible.
“It’s useless.”
Lilith’s voice drifted from the isolated space, carrying a hint of the pride a child might have when showing off a toy.
“This is the new home I prepared for Brother.”
“No one can enter.”
As she spoke, the sphere composed of black cracks began to float upward slowly.
The ground was torn apart and stones were sliced, making an ear-grating *creak*.
She actually intended to carve out this entire pocket of space and take Lynn along with it!
Lynn stood beside Lilith, watching the two women outside who were as furious as they were powerless.
His heart pounded so hard it felt like it would leap out of his throat.
‘They’re getting crazier by the second.’
‘There isn’t a single sane person left in this world.’
“Run.”
He had to run!
“Now, immediately, right this instant!”
Lilith was focusing all her strength on maintaining this massive Spatial Cage, while Vivian and Alicia were attacking frantically from the outside.
Their attention was entirely on each other.
This was his only chance.
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to escape all three lunatics at once!
‘System!’
Lynn roared in his mind. ‘Exchange! Hurry and exchange for that item!’
**[Item Mall]**
**[Random Teleportation Scroll (One-time use): Consumes 500 Survival Points. Randomly teleports the user to any safe location within a 100-kilometer radius.]**
**[Survival Points Balance: 502]**
“It was enough! Just barely!”
The points he had earned during the Freshmen Competition by playing the victim were actually meant to be his life-saving money!
**[Confirm exchange?]**
‘Confirm! Stop the nonsense!’
**[Exchange successful! The item has been placed in the user’s pocket.]**
Lynn’s hand immediately reached into his pocket and touched a cold, hard scroll.
“This was it!”
He did not dare hesitate for a second.
Using his body as cover behind Lilith’s back, he quietly broke the wax seal on one end of the scroll.
A faint ripple of magical power spread from his hand.
“Brother, what are you doing?”
Lilith’s voice echoed eerily in his ear.
Lynn’s body froze.
He slowly looked up and saw that Lilith had turned around at some point.
She was tilting her small face up, her pure black eyes — devoid of any emotion — staring at him quietly.
She saw the scroll in his hand.
“Brother…”
The innocence in her voice vanished, replaced by a cold, wounded sense of betrayal.
“Do you want to leave me?”
‘I’m dead.’
Only those two words remained in Lynn’s mind.
At that very moment, the attacks from the outside stopped.
Vivian and Alicia had noticed the abnormality inside as well.
They saw the scroll in Lynn’s hand and the shimmering light of the teleportation magic that was beginning to gather.
Three gazes, carrying three different types of bone-chilling coldness, locked onto Lynn simultaneously.
“Lynn!”
Vivian’s roar carried an unprecedented level of violence.
“Don’t you dare!”
“Holy Son, do not be deceived by the devil!”
Alicia’s voice became sharp.
The Holy Light in her hands was no longer for purification; it transformed into sharp spears of light aimed directly at Lynn.
They could not get in.
But that did not mean their attacks could not!
Lilith looked at Lynn and smiled.
The smile was sweet, yet it sent a chill from Lynn’s scalp to the soles of his feet.
“Brother, you’re being very disobedient.”
“It seems I’ll have to break your legs before we go to our new home.”
She released her hold on the Spatial Cage.
*Boom — !*
The spatial sphere suspended in mid-air collapsed instantly!
The black cracks vanished, and the distorted shadows returned to normal.
The imprisonment was lifted.
Lynn was now completely exposed to the attacks of the three women.
The teleportation scroll in his hand still needed a few more seconds of channeling time!
Death had never been so close.
“Hand him over!”
Vivian’s sword, whistling as it tore through the air, pointed straight at Lilith.
“Purify this witch!”
Alicia’s light spears rained down from the sky.
Their target was not Lynn.
They had to deal with Lilith, who was closest to him, before they could “handle” him!
Lilith stood her ground, unmoving.
She did not even look at the two women’s attacks.
Her eyes, from beginning to end, were fixed only on Lynn.
She watched the teleportation circle beneath his feet grow brighter.
“Brother,” she said softly, “the world outside is very dangerous.”
“Only by my side is it safest.”
Before she finished speaking, the shadows behind her came to life.
Countless pitch-black, viscous shadow tentacles erupted from her shadow on the ground like a swarm of dancing vipers.
They instantly met Vivian’s sword light and Alicia’s light spears!
*Rumble!*
Three distinct powers collided violently less than a few meters in front of Lynn!
