“…”
“…”
The moment the bell rang for the end of class, the originally quiet campus instantly became lively.
Students poured out of their classrooms in a swarm, starting to chat in the hallways.
“Did you hear? That manga updated again!”
“Yeah… but compared to the novel, it’s still just the beginning. Next, the protagonist will —”
“Hey! No spoilers!”
However, two people were particularly quiet in the noisy corridor.
Two students walked one behind the other through the center of the hallway without talking.
Although they often walked together like this, the girl seemed unusually silent today.
Looking at Yuuma Tsugumu beside her, Akiba Sakura did not feel her usual urge to tease or try to win him over.
She peeked cautiously at Tsugumu’s expressionless face, her mind filled with 100,000 questions.
‘What’s the situation…?’
Sakura rubbed her chin thoughtfully while following Tsugumu.
Her uneasy heart had not settled down since class began.
‘Why would Tsugumu suddenly ask me to the school rooftop? Could it be a confession…?’
Thinking of this, Sakura stole another glance at Tsugumu.
‘… I still can’t read his expression… Speaking of which, should I find a chance to cut his bangs shorter…?’
‘But this doesn’t look like he’s about to confess to me…’
Sakura felt her mind becoming calmer than it had ever been since her reincarnation.
It was frighteningly calm!
Ever since she started her offensive, there hadn’t been a single day when Sakura didn’t hope Tsugumu would fall for her.
Yet, now that a result seemed imminent, she found it impossible to believe.
‘No way. He was acting like that just yesterday. Did he suddenly figure things out after a night’s sleep?’
“It doesn’t make sense…”
Sakura pinched her chin, looking deeply troubled.
“…”
After hearing “doesn’t make sense” and “no reason” the entire way, Tsugumu finally spoke.
“What exactly are you thinking about?”
“I was thinking… Tsugumu, do you have a terminal illness and want to —”
“… Are you an idiot?”
“Eh?” Sakura puffed out her cheeks and looked up into Tsugumu’s eyes.
“No matter how much of an idiot I am, I’m not as big an idiot as you! Bleh!”
Sakura stuck out her tongue and made a face, but to her surprise, Tsugumu turned his head away and stopped looking at her.
“Hey… so what is this really about?”
“…”
“Could it be to thank me for my careful tutoring yesterday? You don’t have to! As long as you give me a rose every day from now on, that’ll be enough!”
“…”
“Hey!”
“…”
“Hey… don’t ignore me!”
In the short time Sakura spent talking, the two of them had already climbed the stairs and reached the roof.
“So —”
“Shh —”
Just as Sakura was about to say something else, Tsugumu suddenly stopped and covered her chatterbox of a mouth with his hand.
“Mmph, mmph?”
“Shh!!”
Tsugumu raised his index finger in a silence gesture.
‘What are you doing! Yuuma Tsugumu, just wait until I bite you!’
“Senior, it sounds like… there’s some kind of noise…”
Just as Sakura was about to bite his hand, she suddenly heard a sound coming from the rooftop.
“Hmm…?”
Hearing the voice, Sakura and Tsugumu exchanged a glance.
Moving in sync, they both lightened their footsteps.
“I didn’t hear anything. You must have misheard.”
“Maybe…”
By now, Sakura and Tsugumu had crept up to the rooftop door.
They crouched one above the other, peering through the gap at a boy and a girl talking outside.
A girl with a pretty profile and slightly flushed cheeks was looking up at the boy in front of her.
Her hands gripped her skirt tightly as she stammered.
“Senior… it’s like this. I already have a boyfriend… so…”
However, before the girl could finish, the dark-skinned boy grabbed her hand and interrupted her.
“I already know all that, Chihori… but haven’t we been getting along great these past few days?”
“But…”
Hearing him say that, the girl’s face turned even redder.
‘Holy crap!!!! It’s actually…’
Sakura’s eyes widened instantly at what she heard.
“Aren’t we very compatible? Think about what we did yesterday… you were so cute back then. Could you really just…”
The boy took the opportunity to move closer, gently pulling the girl into his arms.
‘I… Holy crap…! A Taotie Feast!’
With her extensive experience, Sakura immediately guessed what this pair of students was going through on the rooftop.
It was exactly the kind of scenario she loved!
‘It… it’s actually… that kind of scenario! Deli… delicious, so delicious! ‘
Puff, puff, puff…
Watching everything unfold, Sakura’s brain went into overdrive.
‘A… a pro! I can tell from this dialogue that this guy on the roof is a master of the NTR Circle!’
By now, Sakura’s eyes were practically glowing.
Her face was slightly flushed, wearing a look of pure excitement.
‘If the script is like this… it’s so thrilling.’
Sakura was incredibly excited.
Just as she was about to start drooling, Tsugumu suddenly kicked the rooftop door open.
‘Wh… what the hell?’
As the door swung open, Sakura, who had been leaning against it, lost her balance and landed heavily on the ground.
“That’s enough. Do you really intend to do something like this on the school rooftop?”
Before Sakura could even lift her head, she heard Tsugumu’s voice echoing across the roof.
“Knowing she has a boyfriend and still constantly hitting on her… I cannot approve of what you are doing!”
“?”
The two people on the roof stared at the sudden appearance of Tsugumu.
A flash of panic crossed their eyes, but they both clearly relaxed when they realized the newcomer wasn’t the girl’s boyfriend.
In fact, the boy gradually became annoyed.
He let go of the girl and walked straight toward Tsugumu.
“Where did you come from? What does our business… have to do with you?”
“How shameless…”
Tsugumu’s face was dark and devoid of expression, but his clenched fists were trembling slightly.
“Talking about shamelessness… it looks like I need to teach you what happens when you meddle in other people’s —”
The boy realized Tsugumu wasn’t as muscular as he was.
Seeing that the other party had no reaction other than talking big, he raised a fist, intending to give this gloomy kid a lesson.
“— business?”
The moment he threw the punch, the boy suddenly felt a sharp pain in the muscles of his wrist.
Simultaneously, his vision spun, and he crashed to the ground.
“Dammit…!!!!!!!!!”
In an instant, the roles of attacker and defender had reversed.
The boy was now clutching his strained arm, rolling on the ground in agony.
“You… you bastard…”
Although everything happened very quickly, Sakura, who was still flat on the ground, saw it clearly.
The moment the boy punched, Tsugumu shifted his body slightly to dodge the direct strike.
Then, he seized the boy’s wrist with both hands, turned, and executed a Shoulder Throw.
The entire sequence of movements was as smooth as flowing water, leaving Sakura stunned.
‘Tsugumu… was he always this strong?’
