Chapter 43: Is the Little Sister Still Scheming?

Lin Lue’s Adam’s apple bobbed violently as he swallowed.

He was doomed.

Tonight was going to turn into a high-stakes showdown.

Yuexue cupped her cheek, gazing at her reflection.

Without makeup, she moved her fingertips slightly, intending to grab a lipstick and delicately apply it to her lips.

But after a moment of thought, she shook her head, put down the lipstick, and abandoned the idea.

Yuexue toyed with the jade hairpin in her hand, a faint ripple stirring in her eyes.

Her mind replayed the events of today in the Lower District, the fragments related to that person…
