Chapter 19- The Little Witch Doesn’t Want to Help Bathe Anymore

Hearing Aiweila’s explanation, Luo Xiaosu’s face turned red again.

‘What little cake… that was clearly her own lips.’

‘It seems that when Aiweila kissed me yesterday, she was still groggy and thought she was dreaming.’

She quickly shook her head and looked back at Aiweila.

At this moment, Aiweila had her head down, her long eyelashes drooping, covering the tears in her eyes.

Her two fingers tapped together in front of her chest, looking utterly wronged.

“Then you… can’t just kiss Sister like that.”

Luo Xiaosu couldn’t help but nod, letting out a helpless sigh as she allowed Aiweila to pull her hand back and forth.

“How is it different? Doesn’t Sister like me as much as Mom does?”

Aiweila’s eyes grew moist again. She pouted her lips, looking like she was about to cry.

Seeing Aiweila like this, Luo Xiaosu found herself unable to say the words she originally wanted to refute.

She had no choice but to go along with Aiweila’s words.

“Same, same! Sister likes you the most!”

Aiweila’s eyes instantly lit up, and her tears stopped as if by magic.

The grievance from moments ago vanished without a trace.

She seized the opportunity and threw herself into Luo Xiaosu’s arms, nuzzling against her chest, then lifted her head, her voice as soft as melted cotton candy.

“Then, from now on, can I also get kisses from Sister?”

Luo Xiaosu was about to nod when she suddenly realized what Aiweila had said.

Aiweila’s eyes lit up again, as if the grievance from before had never happened.

“Do it yourself!”

After throwing out those words, Luo Xiaosu, now dressed, almost fled the room in a hurry.

She clutched her chest, feeling the wildly beating heart inside.

She let out a long sigh, trying to calm it down.

‘But the image of Aiweila’s cute, innocent little face and that soft “Sister, can I kiss you from now on?” kept popping into her mind.’

‘What the heck, what did that little girl’s mom teach her? How can she be so flirtatious at such a young age?’

Luo Xiaosu rushed to the stream, splashing cold water on her face.

The icy stream made her shiver, and only then did she feel slightly calmer.

After breakfast, Luo Xiaosu couldn’t resist Aiweila’s persistence and, blushing, helped her bathe again.

In the steam-filled bathroom, Aiweila squinted comfortably like a lazy kitten, leaning against the edge of the bathtub.

Beside her, Luo Xiaosu mechanically repeated the motion of rubbing Aiweila’s hair.

Her gaze was wandering, and she kept silently chanting in her mind.

“Sister…”

Aiweila suddenly turned around in the bathtub.

The hot water in the tub rippled with her movement, producing a loud splash.

She tilted her face up, revealing her fair neck.

A few crystal water droplets slid down it, dripping onto the water’s surface.

Her cheeks were slightly flushed from the temperature in the bathroom.

Her eyes were wide open, reflecting the hazy steam, with a hint of innocence.

Seeing her turn suddenly, Luo Xiaosu immediately looked away, but the corners of her eyes were like a magnet, uncontrollably drifting back, landing on Aiweila’s chest.

Beneath the water surface, the yet-unbloomed curve was faintly visible, like a freshly peeled lychee, pure white with a hint of pink, shimmering delicately in the misty steam.

‘Stop! Can’t keep looking!’

Luo Xiaosu quickly covered her eyes with her hands, but that glowing white curve was seared into her mind like a brand.

A warmth surged in her nasal cavity.

She immediately raised her hand to cover it, but a vivid red liquid had already seeped through her fingers.

“Sister really doesn’t want to bathe together… Hey! Sister! You’re bleeding from the nose again!”

Aiweila’s voice was panicked as she instinctively stood up, exposing her entire upper body to the air.

Luo Xiaosu’s eyes widened even more.

She awkwardly turned around, back to Aiweila.

“I… I’m fine!”

Luo Xiaosu’s voice trembled, the tips of her ears as red as if they might bleed.

She frantically wiped with her sleeve, but the red only spread further, dripping onto the floor with a soft drip, spreading into a small, glaring patch of red.

“Sister, are you sick?”

Watching Luo Xiaosu’s actions, Aiweila held onto the bathtub wall, trying to come out.

“Stop! Don’t come out! Sister is fine!”

Hearing the splash of water behind her, Luo Xiaosu immediately waved her hand and shouted.

She didn’t dare turn around.

She scrambled to the wooden basin filled with water, cupped the cold stream in her hands, and poured it over her face, but the heat on her cheeks didn’t lessen at all.

Aiweila obediently shrank back into the bathtub, only her head showing, chin resting on her hands as she propped herself on the edge of the tub, looking worriedly at Luo Xiaosu who was flustered.

When Luo Xiaosu finally stopped the bleeding, wiped off the water stains on her face, and returned to the edge of the bathtub, Aiweila blinked her big, watery eyes and asked in a very serious yet confused tone.

“Sister, why do you always get nosebleeds?”

Luo Xiaosu immediately waved her hands frantically, flustered, and only managed to speak after a long pause.

“Sister is just a little… a little overheated… right, overheated! Because the bathroom is too hot!”

Aiweila nodded as if she understood, then suddenly reached out her wet little hand and beckoned to Luo Xiaosu.
