In the early morning, sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains into the room.
Primrose stared at the ceiling with her big silver eyes.
She hadn’t slept all night!
An entire night!
Goddesses didn’t need sleep, but that didn’t mean they couldn’t. Her body couldn’t move an inch right now.
There was a heat source pressed tightly against her on the left, and another on the right. A heavy weight also rested on her chest, making it hard to breathe.
She had nothing to do at night, so she could only sleep with Mother and the others.
The events of last night slowly replayed in her mind.
Mother’s one sentence made everyone stay and sleep together.
This bed was indeed very large—more than enough for two people, and still fairly spacious for three.
Luckily, Yuna said that a maid must never share a bed with her master; it would be an act of great treason.
In the end, seven people slept on one bed. Otherwise, with eight, it would’ve been even more cramped.
Primrose had wanted to run away at the time, but Mother held her hand with a face full of expectation.
She simply couldn’t refuse Mother.
In the end, she gritted her teeth and lay down right in the middle.
Cecilia and Dolores nearly started fighting again over who got to sleep beside her.
They each took a side, sandwiching her between them, whispering in her ears all night long.
That was far too much stimulation for her; even if she wanted to sleep, she couldn’t.
Primrose had had enough. She had to get up now.
She planned to push the person on her right away a little, so she reached out and grabbed.
Soft and springy.
Before her mind could catch up, her left hand moved too and squeezed.
The same sensation—soft, with a bit of weight to it.
She had originally meant to push the person on her left.
Were Cecilia’s arm and shoulder really this soft?
But the next second, a very soft whimper came from her right side.
The sound was a little sticky and mushy.
A similar soft moan came from her left side too.
The sound went straight into her ears, making Primrose’s scalp tingle instantly.
She was fully awake in that moment.
She turned her head to look left and right.
Her left hand was on Cecilia’s chest.
Her right hand was on Dolores’s chest.
Primrose gasped sharply and yanked her hands back in fright.
What a sin!
In the early morning, her hands had been grabbing other girls’ places. If anyone found out, her dignity as a goddess would be completely ruined.
Just then, the little one lying on Primrose’s chest stirred.
She looked down and saw a golden-haired girl sleeping soundly on top of her.
Feeling Primrose’s gaze, the golden-haired girl’s lashes fluttered before she slowly opened her eyes.
Her golden eyes were full of moisture, looking hazy and dreamy.
The golden-haired girl raised a hand, rubbed her sleepy eyes, looked at Primrose, and mumbled softly.
“Good morning, Mom… a good-morning kiss, mwah~”
With that, she brought her face close and planted a light peck on Primrose’s lips.
Primrose froze, not even registering what had happened.
Her first kiss… was gone?
Her first kiss!
She had never even dated a girlfriend, so where did she get a daughter this big!
“And… Mom, what Mom! Please stop calling me Mom, okay?!”
Primrose ranted crazily in her mind, but not a single word left her mouth.
By the time she snapped back to reality, hearing that “Mom” and recalling that good-morning kiss, a herd of alpacas was stampeding through her heart.
She carefully turned her head to the left.
Cecilia had her eyes closed, breathing steadily, her cheeks slightly flushed, but showing no signs of waking.
She turned her head to the right again.
Dolores also had her eyes closed, her long lashes casting a faint shadow over her eye sockets as she slept peacefully.
Primrose let out a long sigh of relief.
It seemed those two soft moans were just spontaneous reactions during their sleep; they hadn’t actually woken up.
As long as they didn’t wake up, that was fine.
If they had woken up, there was no way she could explain what her hands had just been doing.
Wouldn’t those two girls chase her to the ends of the earth demanding answers?
She couldn’t exactly say she was sleepwalking and looking for a pillow.
The golden-haired girl closed her eyes again and continued sleeping on top of her.
Primrose stared at the ceiling, silently weeping inside.
What kind of worldly suffering was this?
Other transmigrators were commanding wind and rain; she transmigrated as a goddess and got tormented by a bunch of girls every day.
When would this life ever come to an end?
Primrose tried to get the golden-haired girl off her.
She reached out, pinched the golden-haired girl’s shoulders, and tried to shift her to the side.
But the golden-haired girl extended her arms toward Primrose’s neck, slowly locking them together, holding onto Primrose’s neck tightly with both arms.
The moment Primrose applied a little force, the golden-haired girl let out a dissatisfied whine and hugged even tighter.
Primrose had no choice but to stay in that position, enduring the weight and warmth on her body.
She was afraid of breaking the golden-haired girl, so she dared not move again.
She turned her head to look at the other side of the bed.
Mother Lin Naiyue slept on the outermost edge, covered by a blanket, sleeping very soundly.
Dorothy was curled up in a ball, her back turned this way.
Clotilde lay sprawled out, one leg draped over Dorothy.
At least Mother and the others were sleeping comfortably.
Primrose sighed.
She just hoped time would pass quickly—that dawn would come soon and everyone would get up.
Just then, Cecilia turned over, and one arm draped directly across Primrose’s neck.
Dolores shifted as well, pressing one leg over Primrose’s.
Primrose froze instantly.
Great. Now she was completely locked in.
An arm on the left, a leg on the right, and one more lying on top of her.
Primrose felt like a prisoner tied up hand and foot.
She couldn’t even cry if she wanted to.
She could only silently recite the multiplication table in her mind, trying to distract herself.
“One times one is one, one times two is two…”
As she recited, she suddenly remembered that when she grabbed Cecilia and Dolores just now, the feel was different.
Cecilia’s was fuller, while Dolores’s was slightly firmer.
The moment that thought popped up, Primrose silently slapped herself in the face in her mind.
What are you thinking?!
How can you think about such messy things!
You’re a goddess! You must be dignified! Commanding!
Primrose quickly drove those stray thoughts from her mind and continued reciting the multiplication table.
Time ticked by, minute after minute.
The room was so quiet that only the breathing of nine people could be heard.
Primrose felt her arms going numb.
She watched the sunlight outside grow brighter and brighter, silently praying that someone would wake up soon and break this awkward situation.
After who knows how long, there was finally movement in the room.
The first to wake was Mother Lin Naiyue.
Lin Naiyue sat up and stretched lazily.
She turned her head, saw Primrose’s miserable state of being squished between three people, and couldn’t help but cover her mouth and laugh.
“Prim, you’re awake.”
Lin Naiyue said in a low voice.
