Feisi left in a flustered hurry, leaving only a white-haired and a black-haired little catgirl in the large room, staring at each other.
Raphael had been staring at Saifeisi without blinking since a moment ago, as if wanting to say something.
“Um, Miss Raphael, don’t keep staring at me like that. I’ll get shy, meow.”
Saifeisi’s small face was slightly red as she scratched her cheek awkwardly, the 2 fluffy cat ears on top of her head twitching slightly.
Raphael’s face remained expressionless, showing no emotion.
1 of her fingers pointed at the slightly swaying tail behind Saifeisi.
She paused for a moment before speaking.
“Can I touch it?”
Saifeisi’s small face grew even redder, and she spoke somewhat embarrassedly.
“Um, that’s not allowed.”
“Mom said only someone you love can touch your tail, just like the horns on your head, Sister Raphael—they’re both unique things, meow.”
From the moment she entered, Raphael had, as if by instinct, removed the purple bracelet from her wrist and placed it on the table.
Although she didn’t know why she wanted to do this, just as a newborn baby craves milk, she still obeyed her instincts.
Seeing Saifeisi’s refusal, Raphael showed a somewhat disappointed expression on her face.
Although the change in her expression was slight, Saifeisi still noticed it.
After all, a cat’s observation skills are far sharper than a human’s.
The ears on top of her head twitched slightly, her eyes rolled around, and she spoke with some difficulty.
“Me and Sister Raphael are both girls, so if you want to touch it, it’s not entirely impossible.”
With that, Saifeisi controlled her fluffy cat tail and placed it in front of Raphael, swaying it slightly.
“Eek! Don’t do that, Sister Raphael, it tickles, I’m going to break, meow!!”
Raphael grabbed the cat tail with both hands and gently stroked it, her eyes fixed intently on the black-and-white tail as if it were not a tail but something else entirely.
“Mm…!”
Raphael bit down hard, taking the tip of the tail into her mouth, her tongue gently flicking the end of the tail.
Saifeisi’s body trembled involuntarily as she let out a cry of surprise, her whole body arching slightly, the ears on top of her head already flattened into airplane shape.
A trace of something glistening appeared at the corner of her mouth.
Light gradually faded from Saifeisi’s eyes, and her words became more and more indistinct.
“D-don’t… it’s going to… break… meow…”
There’s a saying that cats are liquid.
This saying applied perfectly to Saifeisi—her whole body, no… her whole cat self, went limp on the sofa, twitching.
Grrr~
Raphael released her mouth from Saifeisi’s tail, 1 hand clutching her stomach as she stood up and instinctively walked toward the kitchen.
She muttered under her breath.
“Hungry… hungry… hungry.”
Saifeisi wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes, tightly hugging her tail, looking aggrievedly at Raphael’s back as she walked toward the kitchen.
Her body trembled slightly as she whimpered.
“Wuwuwu, I’m dirty, meow, I’ve been violated, meow, wuwuwu, I miss you, Mom.”
More than 10 minutes later, Raphael came out of the kitchen carrying 2 plates of something black and charred, placing the 2 plates on the table in front of the sofa, along with 2 sets of bowls and chopsticks.
“Wh-what is this, meow!”
Saifeisi’s nose twitched.
There was a strong burnt smell and a faint stench in the air.
A cat’s sense of smell is naturally much more sensitive than a human’s.
She pinched her nose with 1 hand, her eyes full of fear.
Raphael picked up a spoon, scooped up a spoonful of the black, viscous substance, and held it to Saifeisi’s mouth.
“Eat…”
Raphael spat out that single word and shoved the spoon toward her mouth.
Saifeisi pressed her lips together, resisting with all her might to eat that obviously disgusting food.
She shook her head back and forth, showing how much she didn’t want to eat this thing.
Seeing how resistant Saifeisi was, Raphael didn’t force her.
Just as the little catgirl let out a sigh of relief, Raphael smirked and tickled her armpit with 1 hand.
“Haha… no… mm!!”
The bitter and salty food exploded on her taste buds, the sensation making her scalp tingle.
That still-damp tail instantly went stiff.
Her small face scrunched up.
She wanted to open her mouth and spit out the filth in her mouth, but Raphael wouldn’t allow it.
“Be a good girl and swallow it down, little kitty.”
Raphael covered Saifeisi’s mouth tightly with 1 hand, squinting and grinning as she looked at her.
Those purple eyes held a faint pink glow.
The little catgirl looked at Raphael in terror.
Raphael lifted the little catgirl’s chin with 1 hand, and the food slid uncontrollably down her throat.
Immediately, Saifeisi’s face changed color—first red, then purple.
Raphael released her hand and looked at the little catgirl still sprawled on the sofa, white foam spilling from the corner of her mouth, unconscious.
She stood up, picked up the plate, and dumped the completely inedible stuff into the trash can.
Then she sat down to the side, somewhat bored, and looked up blankly at the ceiling.
“Mm…”
Raphael felt that everything about this place—the layout, the environment—was very familiar.
But her mind seemed to be cut off by something.
Whenever she tried to search further into her memories, something would always kick her out.
Suddenly, she felt a temperature behind her that made her extremely uncomfortable, like being tightly hugged by a furnace, her skin burning painfully.
“What are you thinking about?”
An abrupt female voice came from behind Raphael, her tone just like that of a big sister next door.
A hand gently rested on her shoulder.
Raphael whipped her head around.
It was a woman faintly radiating a white-golden light.
Her face bore an unstoppable smile, a snow-white robe outlining her figure.
“Y-you… who are you?”
Raphael jumped to her feet and backed away, her eyes full of vigilance, 1 hand touching the small patch of burned skin on her forearm.
The yellow-haired woman was stunned for a moment, then smiled and spoke.
“Hehe, sorry about that. I almost forgot you can’t bathe in the Holy Light yet.”
The white-golden glow on her body sank shallowly into her, and that uncomfortable aura immediately dissipated.
The woman cupped Raphael’s small head with both hands, looking left and right, her eyes full of nostalgia, like sisters who hadn’t seen each other in a long time.
Raphael tried to break free but found the woman’s hands were like pincers, firmly holding her head in place.
Despite those slender, innocent-looking arms, she had completely disproportionate strength.
Raphael still wore a puzzled expression, which made the woman seem a little hurt.
She spoke somewhat aggrievedly.
“Don’t look at me like that.”
“It’s been so many years, I really missed you.”
The yellow-haired woman released her hands from Raphael and touched her own face, a slight blush appearing on her cheeks.
Those blue eyes looked at the little catgirl playing dead on the sofa.
“Little kitty, eavesdropping on other people’s conversations isn’t a good habit~”
Saifeisi, who had recovered somewhat on the sofa, twitched her ears slightly, and her tail went taut.
Then, with a slight movement of her fingertip, Saifeisi’s figure vanished from where she was.
“I really missed you, my dear Father, oh no, I suppose now it should be Mother~”
The yellow-haired woman’s red lips lightly touched Raphael’s forehead.
Raphael was instantly stunned and backed away sharply.
Her inner self told her—
This woman is not to be trifled with.
