Chapter 0: The Damn Judge of Dark Fantasy

A refreshing day had begun.

Today was my first day going to work after getting promoted.

It was true that I was lucky, but I also put in a lot of effort.

Balancing work and study wasn’t an easy task.

Anyway, I was no longer a police constable—I was now serving as a corporal.

But why am I in a courtroom?

Waking up to the sound of the alarm was just like any other day.

But instead of the usual ceiling, a courtroom unfolded before me.

And I was sitting at the highest seat in the room, no less.

Something sparkled to my left.

A lavish outfit adorned with gold foil hung there.

That clothing drew my attention immediately.

Come to think of it, I was wearing something similar.

Mine is even worse…

Then, the man beside me shouted loudly to the crowd.

“Starting now, we will proceed with the trial for the Parbiant Farm assault case. All rise for the presiding judge!”

CLATTER CLATTER CLATTER!

Everyone in the court bowed their heads toward me.

A few of the people who looked like knights even raised their hands in salute.

Sitting there blankly, I muttered under my breath.

I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m screwed. Completely screwed.
