The weather in the Golden Court today:
Clear skies turning into a falling star from the great void.
The originally pristine sky was completely shrouded by an approaching shadow.
At this moment, carrying the force of ten thousand jun, hurtling straight toward the magnificent Golden Court, was a continental plate that Antuxi had peeled off from some unknown planet.
The collapse of the continent created a crushing pressure, compressing the atmosphere into visible white airwaves, stirring up gales strong enough to tear steel apart.
As the wild wind blew, the Golden Court’s pride—its golden floors engraved with intricate magic patterns—let out groans of unbearable strain, cracking layer by layer.
Broken fragments of gold flew like shrapnel, cutting through the turbulent airflow.
Inside the court, the witches’ robes fluttered and their hair danced wildly in the wind.
But none of them took a step back.
They merely squinted, gazing up at the descending shadow.
Faced with this apocalyptic scene, Tunzuo nodded in resignation to fate.
She let out a relieved sigh, relaxed her tense shoulders, and chose to face this absurd reality with composure.
Yeah.
The mom who said she wouldn’t come to visit still came.
Not only did she come, but she also brought a huge gift—big enough to flatten the Golden Court along with her own daughter.
Yeah.
That makes total sense…
Like hell it does!
Tunzuo’s calm facade collapsed in less than three seconds.
“Bad Mommy! What are you doing!”
Unable to hold it in any longer, Tunzuo shouted up at the sky.
Her voice was somewhat shrill against the howling wind, clearly uncertain why Antuxi had done this, why she had turned into a continent crane to demolish the Golden Court.
Floating on the clouds, arms crossed, watching the continent fall with a smile, Antuxi naturally heard her daughter’s frantic yelling.
In response, Antuxi curled her lips, a unique “loving” smile spreading across her face.
She reached out and gently parted the clouds before her, calling down to Tunzuo on the ground.
Her voice rang clearly in Tunzuo’s ears.
“Yo, dear daughter! I thought about it for a while, and since this is our first formal meeting, it has to have some presence. After much deliberation, I decided I had to come and show off for you!”
“How about it? Isn’t the floating continent I picked pretty good quality? I just stripped it off a primitive planet—soil, water, vegetation, all green and eco-friendly! Oh, by the way, did you manage to mooch a meal?”
Antuxi knew the answer but asked anyway.
Her timing was perfect, clearly intentional.
Her tone was as casual as if she were shopping at a market, not casually dropping a continent.
“Forget about mooching a meal for now!”
Tunzuo pointed at the growing shadow in the sky, shouting angrily at Antuxi:
“When you’re wrecking another witch’s home, could you at least take your dear precious daughter out first? With a continent that big crashing down, forget mooching a meal—I’ll probably turn into ghost jam! The sticky kind that’s hard to scrub off the floor!”
“Oh, it’s fine.”
Antuxi waved her hand, completely disregarding Tunzuo’s feelings.
“Aren’t you able to escape by slipping into the shadows? Perfect timing—use this chance to test whether you’ve slacked off in your recent insights into the shadow element. After all, actual combat is the only true standard for testing!”
“What kind of actual combat is this? This is clearly murdering your own daughter!”
“Don’t worry, even if you can’t escape, it’s fine.”
Antuxi glanced at the Wild Words on Tunzuo, speaking casually.
“The defensive power of Wild Words is very strong. The ceremonial dress I designed myself—its performance is naturally top-notch. It won’t let you get smashed into the Underworld. At worst, you’ll break a few bones. You should be used to that.”
“So the real purpose of this ceremonial dress is to make me a tougher sandbag?!”
Tunzuo cried out in despair, feeling that coming to the Golden Court for a banquet was purely Antuxi’s malicious scheme.
In response to Tunzuo’s wailing, Antuxi’s laughter, clear as a silver bell yet utterly wicked, rang in her ears.
“Hahaha, that’s just how your biological mom is. You’ll never figure out what she really wants to do. Surprise, get it? This is what they call a surprise!”
Just as Tunzuo was about to dive into the shadows to take shelter, a wild, unrestrained laugh exploded like thunder, shaking the air around them like war drums.
“But I’ve always had an effective way to deal with your biological mom.”
“And that is—fight back!”
With Fafnir’s bold declaration, she took a step forward.
Her muscles tensed, her aura like a volcano ready to erupt.
She assumed a stance like a heavenly king subduing a tiger.
Fafnir reached out with her right hand and pulled an enormous Golden Dragon Guan Dao from the void.
The blade was as wide as a door panel, and the handle was carved with a ferocious golden dragon head.
The dragon’s mouth gaped wide, spitting out a cold, icy silver-white blade.
Just the chill and killing intent leaking from the blade made the surrounding air cry out in pain.
Fafnir held the dao with one arm.
Her body suddenly arched, eyes wide and fierce, face twisted in a snarl.
The unyielding majesty of a dragon erupted in an instant.
Around the blade, a layer of transparent, high-pressure airwave coiled and roared, screeching as it rubbed against the air.
“Break!”
Fafnir roared, using the strength of her waist and abdomen to swing the dao horizontally.
This slash had no fancy techniques—only pure, extreme power and speed.
The surging airwaves turned into a storm, sweeping through the entire Golden Court, sending cracked bricks and debris flying into the sky.
Tunzuo, standing in the front, felt a tidal wave of force hit her.
If Olivia hadn’t been quick enough to grab her waist from behind, Tunzuo would have been blown away by Fafnir’s gale, becoming part of the meteor shower in the sky.
The wind didn’t stop.
In the next second, the sky and earth changed color.
With Fafnir’s blade tip as the center, cracks like spiderwebs spread across the surrounding space.
Then, like glass struck by a heavy hammer, it shattered inch by inch.
Violent tremors shook the entire space, emitting a constant “crack crack” sound.
The vast falling continent, under Fafnir’s unreasonable destructive power, instantly shattered into countless burning meteors and floating islands of various sizes, raining down from the sky like raindrops.
“Wait, I don’t think the destructive power has lessened much!”
Tunzuo looked at the debris in the sky.
She was about to complain that even if the continent was broken into pieces, it was still a problem.
But before she could, a steady, sharp shout rang out.
“Everlasting, Unbreakable Golden City!”
Tunzuo turned her head.
Eunora, her face serious, gripped a heavy golden shield tightly with both hands.
The bottom of the shield slammed heavily into the ground, shaking the earth.
With Eunora’s roar, a massive dragon phantom rose behind her, roaring with its head held high, its golden scales gleaming.
In an instant, an illusory golden fortress rose from the ground.
The golden fortress was not physical but constructed from high-concentration magic and laws.
The golden walls stood tall, sheltering the turbulent Golden Court within.
Hundreds of giant cannons extended from various parts of the illusory golden fortress, their muzzles spewing blazing dragon fire in a unified roar.
Boom!
Boom!!
Boom!!!
The dense cannon fire formed a defensive net, blasting the large boulders and floating islands into fine debris in midair.
On the other side, Cold Moon Han looked at the specks of dust falling on her sleeve, frowning in disgust.
She extended her slender fingers and lightly traced the air.
Her black fingernails cut open a pitch-black gap.
A sky-covering abyssal maw appeared above the Golden Court, pitch black and deep, where not even light could escape.
It seemed to connect to another dimension.
Gravity erupted like a vortex, swallowing all the remaining debris in the sky, not leaving even a speck of dust.
“Antuxi, troublemaker, annoying.”
Cold Moon Han withdrew her hand and coldly spat out three words, her tone full of displeasure.
Just as Tunzuo thought her mommy’s “big gift” was finally over and she could breathe a sigh of relief, something unexpected happened.
Behind the disappearing floating continent, the sky was suddenly dyed in brilliant rainbow colors.
A colorful, enormous elemental nine-tailed fox burst out from the clouds.
A body of flowing water, fur of blazing flames, vines coiled around its form, sun and moon as its eyes.
Teeth of ice, claws of steel, nine dark tails, stepping down through the clouds.
With each step, a colorful fire lotus bloomed beneath its feet.
Looking into the distance—
A myriad of charms bewitch the four directions.
Its voice and might shake the cosmos, proud under the heavens.
The nine-tailed fox was eerie, elusive, agile, and graceful.
“Woo—”
The nine-tailed fox raised its head and howled, the sound cleansing the soul.
Then, the fox flipped its body in midair.
The shadows on its nine tails suddenly expanded, turning into dark moons like curved blades, sweeping down with force.
Bang!
The so-called everlasting, unbreakable illusory golden fortress shattered like paper under a single tail strike from the nine-tailed fox.
The immense back-shock force made Eunora grunt.
She stumbled backward, her legs plowing two deep furrows into the ground.
The golden shield’s light dimmed, and she slid hundreds of meters before barely managing to steady herself.
After breaking the golden fortress’s defense, the nine-tailed fox didn’t hesitate.
A hint of mockery flashed in its eyes.
Then, it transformed into a stream of rainbow light, charging straight at Fafnir on the ground.
“Haha! Stinky fox, come on! Let me see if you’ve regressed after not seeing each other for over ten years!”
Seeing this, Fafnir showed no fear in her eyes.
Instead, her face twisted with excitement, her barbaric and violent aura on full display.
She gripped the dao with both hands, ready to strike.
Her muscles bulged, veins coiling like dragons.
“Come!”
With a roar, the Golden Dragon Guan Dao, like a furious golden dragon, carried the force to tear the sky apart, slashing heavily at the nine-tailed fox!
The blade and the nine-tailed fox collided in midair.
The sky and earth fell silent for an instant.
In that moment, violent magic erupted like a collapsed tsunami.
The ground beneath Fafnir and Antuxi first broke into floating rubble, then turned to dust under the magic’s vibration.
The surrounding buildings collapsed like sand castles under the clash of two forces.
The lake boiled and evaporated into a mist of steam.
The witches present all erected magic barriers to block the residual force of Fafnir and Antuxi’s clash.
Seeing this, Tunzuo sighed helplessly.
She brought her hands together in front of her and pulled open a pitch-black void, swallowing all the rampaging residual magic.
The calm, peaceful black hole looked especially eerie amidst the turbulent magic currents, drawing a long stare from Cold Moon Han.
The clash between Fafnir and Antuxi didn’t actually make contact.
The tip of the guan dao and the snout of the nine-tailed fox never truly touched.
Instead, they fought at a distance in midair.
Two massive, unyielding forces of magic contested back and forth.
On one side was pure battle technique and ultimate power.
On the other, a composite of ever-changing and destructive elements.
During their contest, space continuously collapsed and twisted, emitting black lightning bolts that exploded in the air.
Boom!!!
Finally, the magic compressed to its limit exploded, separating the two.
The shockwave completely dispersed the clouds.
Antuxi and Fafnir both retreated.
After sliding a distance, Fafnir swung her guan dao, holding it with one hand and planting it in the ground.
Her hair disheveled, she laughed heartily:
“Hahahahaha! Not bad, stinky fox! I thought you’d be rotting away on your pile of gold coins. I figured you’d forgotten how to fight!”
The nine-tailed fox performed an agile backflip.
Its massive body gradually dissipated.
Antuxi, having dispelled her elemental form, landed gracefully.
She smoothed her slightly messy hair and sneered at Fafnir:
“I should be the one saying that. Looks like you, you crippled dragon, haven’t regressed to the point of punching another hole through the sky and earth.”
Just as Tunzuo thought Antuxi and Fafnir were about to fight again, the two witches exchanged a few taunts, then each smiled defiantly at the other and walked toward each other.
Their aggressive postures made it look like they were about to start another battle at any second.
Just as Tunzuo was about to grab Olivia and run for it, Fafnir and Antuxi suddenly changed their demeanor.
They slung their arms around each other’s shoulders in a conspiratorial manner, laughing up at the sky.
“Hahaha! Stinky fox, how long are you planning to stay this time before running off to cause trouble?”
Fafnir grinned, arm around Antuxi, looking very close.
“Hmph, depends on the situation.”
Antuxi rolled her eyes but didn’t push Fafnir away.
“And you, still playing your same old act with your kids at home. No originality at all.”
Watching Antuxi and Fafnir, who were close enough to share a skirt, Tunzuo’s mouth twitched wildly.
She felt that the social interactions among the big shots of witch society were way too complicated.
Just then, Andersen gently tugged on Tunzuo’s sleeve.
Her smile was innocent and carefree, as if the earth-shattering clash just now had been nothing more than a simple joke.
She floated up, leaned close to Tunzuo’s ear, and explained softly:
“Little An’an and Faf have always been the two biggest troublemakers in Dunayala. They’re really good friends, so Little Tu’tu doesn’t need to worry. They’re just, um, greeting each other.”
After hearing Andersen’s explanation, Tunzuo felt a bit embarrassed.
Actually, Andersen had misunderstood.
Just now, Tunzuo was mainly thinking about how Fafnir’s burly frame, bent over to sling an arm around her 1.6-meter-tall mommy, looked so hilariously awkward that it almost made her laugh.
“Alright, since all the witches are here, let’s prepare to start the banquet. We can talk while we eat.”
After trading a few insults with Antuxi, Fafnir straightened up and waved her hand generously.
She turned to yell at Eunora, who was still rubbing her wrists.
Hearing this, Eunora looked around at the Golden Court, now reduced to rubble.
Seeing the broken stones and still-smoking craters, her face fell.
“Mother, the Golden Court is severely damaged. The banquet hall will probably take some time to repair. I’m afraid we can’t—”
But Fafnir waved her hand dismissively, completely unconcerned.
“No need for all that trouble! What banquet hall? Too formal! Let’s just roast meat on the spot!”
