“Eh? Lie down on it?”
Lisiluo doubted her own ears. Her gaze bounced helplessly between Mu Wan’s smiling face and her thighs.
“Hmm? Is there a problem?”
Mu Wan tilted her head, wearing an innocent expression as if she had merely suggested something perfectly ordinary.
Pat pat.
She patted her thighs again. Under the resting room’s warm lighting, the translucent black stockings caught the light with a faint sheen.
“No way, no way—this is way too sudden no matter how you spin it—”
“You didn’t rest properly last night, did you?”
Mu Wan folded her arms, instantly exposing Lisiluo’s little secret.
“Eh? How does Senpai know?”
“Because I saw the marks your forehead left behind.”
Lisiluo hurriedly glanced around and spotted a mirror tucked in the corner. She leaned closer to check. Sure enough, several faint horizontal lines marked her forehead—probably pressed in by the folds of her uniform while she slept with her head on her arms. Her bangs hid them well enough that they went unnoticed unless someone looked closely.
“Even that slipped past you. Looks like you really were busy last night, Junior~”
“So, as your thoughtful senior, I’ve decided to lend you my thighs for a while. Free of charge.”
Lisiluo’s face flushed bright red. She waved her hands in a panic.
“N-no, I can just find somewhere else to lie down for a bit. No need to trouble Senpai…”
“Heh. Too late.”
Mu Wan’s lips curved into a mischievous smile. She gave a light clap.
A flash of light from her bracelet summoned several ribbons that dropped swiftly from the ceiling. Before Lisiluo could react, the soft strips coiled around her wrists and ankles, binding her like a neatly wrapped dumpling.
“Eh? Ehh?! Ehhh?!”
Lisiluo yelped as her body lifted into the air and floated over to Mu Wan’s side.
“Senpai?! The—the ribbons are moving by themselves?!”
Watching the trembling girl before her, Mu Wan let out a soft laugh and shook her wrist, making the bracelet gleam.
“Nothing worth getting so worked up over. Everything in this room—including the room itself—is controlled by the bracelet.”
“In other words, the moment you stepped inside, you lost any chance to resist~”
“How is this even possible—”
Lisiluo was maneuvered like suspended cargo, slowly lowered onto the sofa until she lay on her back, her head drawing nearer to Mu Wan. The instant the back of her skull met that silky sensation, her breath caught.
Mu Wan’s black-stockinged thighs were incredibly soft and smooth. Without Mu Wan’s hands steadying her, Lisiluo felt she might slide right off. The warmth radiating from them was higher than expected, carrying a faint, pleasant scent along with it—like resting against a heated, luxurious velvet pillow.
Her head now rested on Mu Wan’s lap.
Lisiluo wouldn’t have dared dream of doing something like this, let alone anyone else. If the others heard about it, they would probably question whether she had lost her mind.
“Umm… Senpai, this is… this is way too embarrassing…”
From below, Mu Wan’s round little face looked especially cute, the corners of her eyes softened in a way that made her seem almost gentle. At the same time, Lisiluo realized her own face was far too close to the hem of Mu Wan’s skirt—close enough to glimpse the shadow beneath it. She jerked her gaze away at once, turning toward the ceiling above and to the side.
Only then did she finally see where the ribbons originated. They extended from small openings in the ceiling, with several more drifting lazily in the air, ready to move at a moment’s notice.
“Oh? If you’re that embarrassed, how about this? Better~?”
Mu Wan reached out and gently removed Lisiluo’s glasses. The ribbons followed immediately, wrapping over her eyes and plunging her into complete darkness.
“Wait—my glasses… It’s so dark! I can’t see anything—”
Lisiluo shook her head frantically, trying to dislodge the bindings, but it was useless.
“Oh, right. I forgot to mention—this resting room used to function as an interrogation room.”
Mu Wan’s tone carried a wicked little smile as she watched the now-blindfolded girl on her lap.
“Ehhh?!”
Lisiluo tried to struggle, only to discover the ribbons were far tighter than expected. She had no room to resist at all.
“I thought the place looked too empty just sitting there, so I added a few decorations.”
Wait… did that mean…?
Even without seeing Mu Wan’s expression, Lisiluo’s instincts screamed that things were far from simple.
“S-Senpai… is it still possible to beg for mercy now?”
Her voice trembled so badly that even Mu Wan could feel the shaking through her lap.
“Eh? I’m hurt. I’m kindly helping Junior solve her sleep problem. What else would I be doing?”
Danger!
Lisiluo swallowed hard. She knew that tone all too well. It meant Mu Wan was about to do something terrible.
A warm little hand settled on top of her head. Slender fingers combed lazily through her hair in slow, intermittent strokes—gentle, almost absentminded, like petting a favorite animal.
“Speaking of which, Junior mentioned yesterday that you had something urgent. Where exactly did you go?”
Lisiluo’s body went rigid. Cold sweat broke out and poured down her back.
That casual tone, spoken by Mu Wan, was no longer just a question.
Interrogation. This is definitely an interrogation!
Could it be… that Mu Wan already knew she had gone to see Yu Weian-senpai?
She must have been followed without noticing, or Mu Wan had questioned witnesses directly.
She had messed up!
Trying to make excuses in front of Mu Wan was like walking straight into a trap.
“It… it was the library.”
After a moment of desperate thought, Lisiluo chose to confess.
“Oh~ The library. What did you go there for?”
“To find—to find Yu Weian-senpai…” Her voice shrank smaller and smaller until it was barely audible.
The gentle stroking paused. From above came Mu Wan’s light, amused chuckle.
“So that was Junior’s urgent matter. No wonder you were in such a rush. Running off to see another woman behind your date’s lover’s back… I believe that sort of behavior is called…”
Mu Wan leaned down, her breath brushing warm against Lisiluo’s face.
“…called cheating, isn’t it?”
It’s over.
“It’s not like that! It’s not! I really didn’t have any such intentions!”
Lisiluo shook her head desperately, her hair rasping against the stockings.
“I just… wanted to show Yu Weian-senpai the results of my progress. Because—because Senpai has always been concerned about my problems.”
“It was really just to show her. There were no other thoughts at all!”
“And then?” Mu Wan’s tone remained calm, giving nothing away.
“Then…”
Remembering her own pathetic state at the time, Lisiluo felt her throat tighten as bitterness flooded her chest.
“Then… I failed. My magic power is still only Rank 1. No matter how hard I tried, it didn’t work.”
After speaking, she felt as if every last bit of strength had drained from her body. She collapsed weakly against Mu Wan’s lap.
It was truly over.
With the ribbons covering her eyes, she couldn’t see Mu Wan’s expression. Anger? A cold smile? Contempt? Maybe all three.
No matter how she explained herself, her final lifeline had already disappeared. She was trapped in a room no one else knew about, held captive by Mu Wan, where even shouting for help might go unheard.
Everything was finished.
Lisiluo closed her eyes, bracing herself for whatever came next.
That small hand resumed its slow, steady strokes through her hair—calm, unhurried, and somehow more unsettling than any outburst.
After a long silence, Mu Wan finally spoke.
“Hmm… Alright. I’ve decided. I’m going to give you a punishment—”
