“I’m flying! I’m flying!”
“I’m actually flying!”
“I’m falling!”
“Ki-hi-hi-hi!”
The Goblins thrown with all the might of the Orcs spread their wings and took flight. They were grinning from ear to ear at the thought of penetrating deep into enemy lines to detonate their bombs.
However, Iselin and the Elves aimed at the Goblins and released their bowstrings.
*Kuek!*
*Keo-heok!*
*Kiek!*
*Ky-ahhh!*
Goblins with pierced heads plummeted to the empty ground and exploded. Those hit in the torso exploded in midair, dragging nearby Goblins into the blast.
When the second attack failed, the Orcs threw even more Goblins. Several Goblins were loaded onto the Orc Launchers instead of Orcs. The Orc Launchers, created by bizarre Orc Magic, fired Goblins in various ways. Some were projected like cannons, others were launched like catapults, and some simply soared straight up.
Far more Goblins filled the sky than before. The Elf Knights intercepted the Goblins in their assigned sectors. Even though they knew it would be difficult to bring them all down, they calmly loosed their arrows.
The Elves’ marksmanship was accurate and fast, but because of the sheer number of Goblin missiles, dozens managed to break through the net of fire. The Goblins folded their wings and plummeted. As they accelerated, they grinned hideously at the approaching Elves. They were full of anticipation, imagining the Elves dying with them in the explosion.
The Elves stood their ground even when the distance closed enough to see the wrinkles around the Goblins’ eyes. They did not panic. They mechanically notched arrows, pulled back, and released. This was thanks to their faith in Iselin, who stood by them.
Just before the Goblins crashed, a wide Shield unfolded between the Elves and the Goblins. The Goblins intending to self-destruct collided with the Shield and exploded.
*Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!*
The Shield, infused with Life Mana specialized in defense and recovery, was incredibly sturdy. No Goblin could breach it, and it even restored the health of the Elves behind it.
The Elves continued their attack, feeling as refreshed as if they had just woken from a long rest. The Goblin missiles fell like rain, and a shower of arrows poured down on the Orcs’ heads.
“Useless Goblins!”
“Close in!”
“We’ll finish this!”
The Orcs approached. Although they fell in heaps due to the rain of arrows, they ignored the casualties and moved close to the Elves to fire their cannons. Round cannonballs and harpoons struck Iselin’s Shield.
The Elves attacked safely from behind the Shield. It was a completely one-sided exchange of damage.
When their long-range attacks proved useless, the Orcs abandoned their cannons and charged on foot. The Central Command Warrior called for a countermeasure against the charge of one million Orcs.
*Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!*
Battle Titans, which had grown to over 200 meters long since their birth, came running. While the Orcs hesitated between fighting or fleeing, the Battle Titans lowered their bodies and swung their Scythe Claws.
*Screeech!*
Hundreds of Orcs were sliced apart or sent flying into the air. The Battle Titans leaped into the middle of the Orc swarm, rampaging in every direction. When Orcs tried to climb up the Battle Titans’ legs, the Walkers clinging to various parts of the Titans split their heads open with large mandibles.
“Get closer! I said get closer! That’s the only way the accuracy will improve!”
Dielka shouted like an Orc. The Dimension Ship she had named Death of Evil accelerated.
“Lady Dielka! It’s dangerous to approach the Orc Dimension Ships!”
Sierra was horrified. Even if the Death of Evil was a modification of a Metra Dimension Ship, getting close to the Orc Dimension Ships was strictly forbidden. The Scrap Cannons grew more powerful at close range, and if the Orcs managed to board, the situation would spiral out of control.
“Can’t you see they’re hurting?”
Dielka pointed at the Titans. They were bleeding in various places, and Orc Dimension Ships were clinging to them like barnacles. Bloody battles were raging on their backs, with Orc blood flowing down in streams.
“They do look like they’re in pain, but…”
Sierra did not know that Apocalids could not feel pain.
“How do you feel when you see cute kids in pain?”
“I feel bad, of course. But those things aren’t cute!”
“I think they’re cute.”
“You call those cute?!”
*Thud!*
The Death of Evil shook. A Scrap Cannon had hit its side. Dielka ran to the edge of the Deck to check the ship’s condition. The armor had not been pierced, but it was cracked and dented. It was the same situation as the side of a brand-new car being dented less than one week after purchase.
Dielka was beyond furious.
“These green idiots!”
Dielka went down to the lower deck and grabbed a Mana Ballista.
“Is it that one?”
She targeted the nearest Orc Dimension Ship. On its deck, Orcs were cheering after successfully hitting with their Scrap Cannon.
Dielka aimed. The Ballista was heavily infused with Death Mana. When she pulled the trigger, a large, thick Magic Arrow was fired.
*Boom!*
The pillar-like bolt drove into the Orc Dimension Ship, and Death Mana spread through the interior. Orcs died instantly, and the bombs carried by the Goblins exploded all at once.
*Kaaaa-boom!*
The Orc Dimension Ship exploded spectacularly. Debris and Orcs were sent flying like arrows.
“Ah, that’s refreshing!”
Dielka climbed back up to the Deck. Although the danger increased as the distance closed, the power and accuracy of the Mana Ballista also increased. An Elf from Marsala would never stay at such a distance, but the bold Dielka actually preferred it. Picking off enemies from a long distance did not suit her personality.
“I told you to stop approaching!”
However, there were Dark Elves who approached even closer than Dielka. They brought their Dimension Ships right up to the Orc Dimension Ships as if they wanted to engage in melee combat. Eventually, several Orc Dimension Ships latched onto one of their ships, leaving it unable to move.
“Those bastards!”
Dielka quickly flew over, firing arrows wildly and spreading Death Mana. She used her stored stamina and Mana without hesitation, even though it was supposed to be a long fight.
Panting, Dielka destroyed all the Orc Dimension Ships and eliminated the Orcs who had infiltrated. She then slammed the Commander of that ship onto the floor.
“When we get back, you’re in charge of Warehouse management!”
A position that required staying in one place and managing something was a job most Dark Elves could not stand, as they would get restless.
“I-I’m sorry! Anything but that…!”
“Then you should have listened!”
Dielka, who often ignored Iselin’s words, harshly scolded her subordinate for not listening.
Returning to the Death of Evil, Dielka fired arrows with even more excitement than the Orcs. As the number of Orc Dimension Ships decreased, more Titans found themselves with room to breathe. Those Titans positioned themselves above the Orcs’ heads in the Dimension and fired their Mana Cannons relentlessly. Thanks to the Dimension’s gravity, the Mana Cannons — their power doubled — fell upon the clustered Orcs.
*Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!*
The number of Orcs dwindled rapidly. 30 million had already fallen, and the rate of death was increasing.
‘This won’t do!’
Kuralgal sensed defeat even while fighting Lutal. It was thanks to his vast experience fighting Demons.
“Krah-ah-ah-ah!”
He was enraged. He wanted to kill the four-clawed thing quickly and beat the other puny things to his heart’s content, but being blocked like this was driving him crazy.
“Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!”
Kuralgal struck down with his axe over and over with all his might. The earth split and small canyons formed from the force, but his target remained perfectly alive and moving. The creature was so fast that Kuralgal was busy just trying to dodge whenever it decided to charge at him.
*Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!*
Kuralgal barely avoided the incoming Scythe Claws. It was only because Lutal was going easy on him; if it had been serious, he would have lost a limb by now. When Kuralgal swung his axe, Lutal either blocked or dodged with its Scythe Claws, backed away, and then charged again. It was practically mockery.
“Why can’t I hit you! Why won’t you get hit?!”
Kuralgal eventually threw his axe aside and charged. Since he could not hit the creature, he intended to grab it and attack. However, Kuralgal could not even get close as his arms were parried by the Scythe Claws or he was pushed back by the tail.
“Krah-ah-ah-ah-ah!”
Kuralgal’s rage exploded at the prospect of losing again to an opponent who had already defeated him twice. His roar was loud enough to momentarily halt the battle.
The Orcs synchronized with him. They let out an even louder roar and charged. For any other race, it would have just been a slight boost in morale that would not affect the outcome.
But these were Orcs. They were a race capable of performing nonsensical Great Magic, such as moving Dimensions or opening Gates through a unified collective consciousness. That power now focused on Kuralgal, the Hyper Ultra Great Boss.
Kuralgal’s body grew. Mana, clumped together by the Orcs’ will, adhered to his physical form.
“Power! Power is overflowing!”
His translucent body shot up in height. It quickly surpassed 300 meters and finally stopped after reaching 500 meters. Kuralgal opened his hands and looked down. It was a body half-resembling a Soul, different from his real body. Even though he had never experienced this before, it felt as if it were his own.
“I’ll crush everything with this.”
Kuralgal clenched his fists. A sense of omnipotence spread through his body. He felt as if he could kill that annoying four-clawed thing at any moment.
“Dieeeee!”
The giant Kuralgal struck down at Lutal with his fist. Lutal activated its Booster and dodged to the side. The massive fist struck the ground.
*Kaaaa-boom!*
A pillar of earth shot up. The giant Kuralgal glowed translucently amidst the dust. A large Crater formed where the fist had landed. Within the Crater’s range, the ground was filled with crushed Orcs and Apocalids.
“Kha-ha-ha-ha-ha!”
The giant Kuralgal swung his fists wildly. Because he was so fast and each strike covered a wide area, Lutal had to dodge with everything it had. The temperature rose rapidly with the giant Kuralgal’s movements. The crushed soil softened under the heat, eventually turning into lava and flowing away.
‘I’ll have to deal with that first.’
If the giant Kuralgal were left alone, Lutal might be fine, but the small Apocalids were at risk of being trampled to death. Choi Kangjoong, who had been bombarding the Orcs with Mana Cannons, flew toward him. The giant Kuralgal did not really know who Choi Kangjoong was and, regarding him as little more than a fly, swiped with his palm.
The 100-meter-wide palm carried enough power to be dangerous even for Choi Kangjoong if he were hit.
‘I just have to not get hit.’
Choi Kangjoong used Stealth Blink to move behind the giant Kuralgal’s palm.
*Slash! Slash!*
He extended his Death Blades and sliced the giant Kuralgal’s wrist. Though massive, the body was soft, as if he were cutting through tofu.
“Krah-ah-ah-ah-ak!”
The giant Kuralgal, whose wrist was halfway severed, screamed. A wound on the giant Kuralgal’s body, which was connected to his Soul, was more painful than a physical injury. The wound turned black due to the Death Mana.
In that opening, Lutal lunged into the giant Kuralgal’s inner guard. Aiming for the neck — a part that instinctively seemed like a weakness — Lutal swung its four Death Blades all at once.
“Krah-ah-ah-ah-ak!”
The giant Kuralgal screamed again. But it was only for a moment. As the Orcs’ will concentrated, the Death Mana was neutralized, and the wound disappeared.
“Pain that does not kill me only makes me stronger!”
Kuralgal, suddenly shifting his stance, stomped his foot. An earthquake occurred, and the ground split wide open.
“I am invincible!”
The giant Kuralgal slammed his fists together. Orcs were sucked up into the tornado created by the impact.
‘And yet you’re only 500 meters.’
Choi Kangjoong looked up at the Dimensional Sea. The Hive Class Apocalid, over 10 kilometers long, and the Super Titan Class Apocalid, ranging from 1 to 5 kilometers, were aiming at the giant Kuralgal.
