Once the retreat was decided, the Baekryong warriors withdrew quickly.

Neither Heukcheonhoe nor Cheonrangpa pursued the retreating Baekryong forces.

All were exhausted and simply grateful the battle was over.

Thus ended the long and brutal bloodshed, and the night over Hangju was stained red.
