【Name: Skeleton Roller Ball】
【Race: Undead】
【Level: 30】
【Description: Skeleton soldiers, bored out of their minds, gathered together to stick close, and eventually, as more and more skeletons joined in, their bones became hopelessly tangled, unable to separate ever again.】
【Note: It’s said that even their density can’t compare to Line 6 of the Imperial Capital during early morning rush hour.】
“Why on earth would a bunch of skeletons want to huddle together like that!”
“Xiao Bai, less complaining, more running!”
The thunderous rumbling grew ever more oppressive, and the girls sprinted with all their might.
“Hah... hah...”
Her steps grew unsteady, stamina running low, and finally she bit her silver teeth and said, “Forget it, let’s just blow it to bits!”
She turned back, raised her divine staff, and gentle holy light began to gather at its tip. A sphere of holy light floated out slowly,
heading straight for the Skeleton Roller Ball.
But suddenly, the Skeleton Roller Ball started to tremble violently. With a series of crisp bone-clattering sounds, it changed from a rolling ball into a short, rolling cylinder.
Since its height had abruptly shrunk, the holy light sphere just floated overhead, missing it entirely. As soon as the sphere passed by, they instantly reverted back to their original form.
Bai Yueling was shocked. “This thing is actually that smart?”
“Move aside, Xiao Bai, let me try!”
Lie Lie shoved Bai Yueling aside with her hip, formed a hand seal with both hands, and chanted, “Fire Release! Great Fireball Technique!”
“You don’t even need to make hand seals to breathe fire, do you?!”
A blazing fireball burst forth from Lie Lie’s mouth, and sure enough, it slowed the Skeleton Roller Ball a little.
However, in the very next moment, the Skeleton Roller Ball shuddered once more, its entire body taking on a slightly charred yellow, and the path it rolled over behind it was now streaked with flickering flames. It seemed even more dangerous than before.
Bai Yueling muttered, “You just enchanted it with fire, didn’t you!”
Lie Lie scratched her head awkwardly. “Sorry, this is the first time I’ve ever met something that can’t be burned...”
Just as Bai Yueling was racking her brain for another solution, the path ahead suddenly ended, replaced by a thick stone wall.
“It’s a dead end up ahead!” Lie Lie shouted in panic. “Xiao Bai, what do we do now?”
Bai Yueling didn’t hesitate. “Jump in the river!”
At Bai Yueling’s command, everyone leaped into the river without a second thought.
The icy water jolted Bai Yueling awake. She looked forward under the water, and soon found a narrow opening nearby.
There was nowhere else to go anyway, so they might as well crawl in and see what happens...
She signaled for the others to swim into the underwater tunnel.
But at that moment, a huge splash exploded on the water’s surface. The Skeleton Roller Ball had followed them in, ghostly blue flames blazing in the spray, rolling toward Bai Yueling at breakneck speed.
This is bad...
Trailing at the end of the group, Bai Yueling swam forward with all her might. The other three had already made it into the tunnel—only she was left outside.
But the Skeleton Roller Ball was racing straight at her, about to crush her into a cloud of blood in the water.
Just then, a pale little hand reached out from the tunnel and grabbed Bai Yueling’s, pulling her inside.
Rumble!
The Skeleton Roller Ball scraped past Bai Yueling, but in the end, the river’s current swept it away downstream, who knew where it would end up...
“Puhah!”
Bai Yueling broke the surface, wiped the water from her face, and looked at the girl who had just saved her life. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” Vicky’s face was expressionless, as if she’d done nothing at all.
Bai Yueling looked ahead. Here, the tunnel was even darker and cramped, barely wide enough for one person at a time, but if they crawled forward, they could get out of the water.
“It’s a dead end up above anyway, so let’s just keep crawling. Who’s taking point?” Bai Yueling asked.
“Me, me, me!” Lie Lie raised her hand right away.
“Then I’ll go second, Vicky third, and Zijingyue brings up the rear. Sound good?”
“No problem.”
Everyone got down and crawled into the tunnel one by one.
Since they’d all been soaked, the torches they’d taken from the black-robed men had long gone out, plunging them into total darkness.
At the front, Lie Lie, the Red Dragon Princess, kept breathing out tiny flames, trying to light the way.
But every time Lie Lie breathed fire, her tail twitched upward, and before she knew it, she was smacking Bai Yueling’s face, leaving faint red marks in the shape of a tail on her snowy, delicate cheeks.
Bai Yueling grabbed the dragon tail, slightly annoyed. “Shut up, you fire-breathing lizard. Let me handle it.”
She patted her jelly-like suit, and with a shimmering flash, Bai Yueling began to glow like a firefly, lighting up the tunnel in an instant.
“Eh? Your clothes can actually light up?” Lie Lie exclaimed. “That’s so handy! I want one too!”
A few black lines appeared on Bai Yueling’s head. “Trust me, you wouldn’t like this outfit.”
The glow from the jelly suit was gentle and easy on the eyes, even when looking directly at it.
Because they were crawling so close together, Vicky, just behind, only had to look up to see Bai Yueling crawling on all fours, her plump, round hips swaying slightly with every movement, exuding softness and resilience.
Suddenly, Bai Yueling cried out with an “Ah!” and was forced to stop. Vicky, caught off guard, bumped face-first into the soft slime, her nose pressing right against Bai Yueling’s most sensitive spot. Just as she was dazed, something hard bumped into her own rear.
“Wah!” “Eek...!”
“Oh no.” “Oops, sorry.”
Just like a train car collision, all four had to stop. Bai Yueling, face flushed, arched her hips and snapped, “Why’d you stop all of a sudden?!”
“Because there’s no way forward up ahead, just a hole going down,” Lie Lie said innocently, flicking her tail lightly against Bai Yueling’s cheek.
“A hole? Let me see.” Bai Yueling struggled to crawl forward.
Lie Lie twitched her tail uneasily. “It’s too cramped, you won’t fit.”
“Just keep your head down.”
After a bit of squirming, Lie Lie finally lay on her back, letting Bai Yueling squeeze over her, her voluptuous figure tightly wrapped in the skintight jelly suit, looking for all the world like a secret agent on a covert mission in the darkness.
Xiao Bai’s figure really is something... Lie Lie thought, her dragon claws twitching with temptation.
After a huge effort, Bai Yueling finally reached the front. She pressed herself to the opening, peering into the darkness below.
By the faint glow, she saw a mysterious tomb chamber, as large as the central square of the royal capital. Dragons were carved on the walls, countless bones scattered across the floor like a mass grave—just looking at it sent chills down her spine.
“What is this place?”
Bai Yueling gripped the rock wall, carefully stretching half her body down to try to see further.
Suddenly, every hair on her body stood on end, her pupils shrinking to pinpricks.
There, sprawled in the endless sea of bones, was an enormous skeletal dragon, shrouded in eerie black death mist, its eye sockets burning with terrifying ghostfire, exuding a sinister aura of undeath.
“This is the final BOSS of the Dragon Tomb Dungeon... the Skeletal Dragon!”
