“Senior Sister?”
Standing in front of her house, Lin Wuming hesitantly knocked on the door.
After receiving no response, he nervously pushed it open and carefully poked his head inside.
Not home?
He glanced around the room but didn’t see any trace of his stunningly beautiful senior sister.
The room was simple, but a faint, pleasant fragrance lingered in the air—her scent.
Unlike perfume, it wasn’t sharp but a subtle, comforting aroma that made one feel at ease just by being in it.
Come to think of it, he had originally joined this music-teaching sect out of necessity.
After spending what little money he had, he was forced to think about how to survive.
One day, he’d seen her recruiting disciples and, figuring learning a craft could earn him a living, signed up without a second thought.
Definitely not because she was too beautiful.
Apparently, that had been her very first time recruiting on behalf of their mysterious master, right after arriving in the village.
And since then, she’d never taken in another disciple.
Looking back, it had to be fate.
But it was precisely because she hadn’t accepted anyone else that Lin Wuming was now worried—would she be okay with him taking a junior sister?
“Wuming?”
Just as he was lost in his thoughts, a soft voice called out behind him.
“Sh-Senior Sister!”
Startled, Lin Wuming jumped back two steps instinctively.
Bai Bingyun saw his nervous reaction and chuckled softly.
“Oh? You always avoid me like the plague, yet today you came looking for me. What is it? Need something?”
“N-No, not really…”
She’d seen through him immediately, and Lin Wuming scratched his cheek awkwardly.
“Is that so~?”
Bai Bingyun gave him a meaningful look as she slowly closed the distance between them.
“S-Senior Sister, y-you’re too close!”
Lin Wuming froze as he saw that graceful, snowy-white cleavage approaching.
He stopped breathing.
“So adorable…”
Ignoring his weak protests, Bai Bingyun spread her arms and embraced him.
“Mmph! Mmmphh—!”
Buried in softness, Lin Wuming’s brain went blank.
That delicate fragrance filled his nose, sweet and milky like baby powder.
It was a scene out of a dream.
As he looked up at her flawless, tender face—gentle and graceful, with an inherent charm that tugged at the soul—Lin Wuming panicked even more.
After all, this woman was his senior sister!
She had been the one to teach him everything about music.
She was practically half his master.
He deeply respected her (…mostly).
Thinking this, Lin Wuming awkwardly averted his gaze and swallowed hard.
At sixteen, he wasn’t a child anymore.
No matter how much he tried to stay calm, his heart was racing, and his breathing was growing unsteady.
Bai Bingyun clearly noticed.
Feeling the heat of his breath against her chest, her smile became even more teasing.
But soon, she released him and said with a satisfied sigh….
“Mm~ Wuming energy restored. That should last me a few more days.”
With a playful wink, she left Lin Wuming utterly flustered, this innocent boy from two lifetimes no match for her teasing.
“So, what did you come for?”
A moment later, Bai Bingyun handed him a cup of tea and sat at the table, watching him intently.
“Senior Sister…”
Lin Wuming scratched his head.
He couldn’t hide his purpose forever.
No matter how she teased him, she genuinely cared.
She’d taught him her skills, and he hadn’t visited in a long while.
He felt a little guilty.
“Alright, just say what’s on your mind.”
Bai Bingyun smiled, seemingly knowing what he was thinking, not minding at all—her gaze even softer now.
“Well… it’s like this…”
Taking a deep breath, Lin Wuming finally gathered the courage to speak his mind.
“So… you want a little junior sister?”
Bai Bingyun looked surprised at first, then a hint of mock sadness appeared in her eyes.
“What, I’m not enough for you anymore? No wonder you haven’t visited. You’re already bored of me, huh?”
“N-No! That’s not it…”
“Not it? Hmph~”
She rolled her eyes with a pout.
“How do I know you’re not just sweet-talking me?”
Lin Wuming blinked.
Though she teased him often, he’d rarely seen her act this… girlish.
The slight conflict on her usually calm face made him stare, momentarily stunned.
“Senior Sister, I…”
As if possessed, he suddenly stood up, walked to her, and leaned in.
“Then… should I prove it to you?”
His heart pounded.
He had no idea why he was acting so bold—but god, it felt exciting!
Seeing her perfect face so close, he even caught a flicker of panic in her autumn-like eyes.
Their breaths mingled.
Before she could react, Lin Wuming gently pressed his lips to her forehead.
The soft, slightly damp sensation tingled all the way down his spine.
Then—he bolted.
Like a guilty child, he jumped back, looking at her with an innocent expression.
Bai Bingyun’s face remained calm.
Aside from a flicker of surprise, she didn’t seem fazed at all.
“Ahem—”
After a long pause, she cleared her throat and said….
“Alright… I get it. I believe you. Go find your little junior sister.”
“You really agree?!”
Lin Wuming’s eyes lit up.
He had braced for her anger, even a scolding, after crossing such a line.
But instead, she’d agreed so easily!
“Then, I’ll be going now!”
Fueled by excitement, he rushed out of her house, breathing hard once outside.
Even now, he couldn’t believe he’d done something that bold!
But… she hadn’t even gotten mad?
Maybe… she still just saw him as a kid?
Relieved she wasn’t angry, Lin Wuming also felt a tiny bit disappointed.
What he didn’t know was that behind the tightly shut door, Bai Bingyun was writhing on the bed like a worm, clutching her burning cheeks, blushing furiously.
A pair of fluffy ears popped out from her hair, trembling with embarrassment, while her dainty white toes curled up, wrinkling the sheets beneath her.
So she’s a beast person.
