After all, this was Olivia's dwelling, and she would clean it properly. One could even say she was now more familiar with this body than Ying Su herself.
She could even completely override Ying Su's will to control this body.
And Olivia also felt that Ying Su was a heartless, feckless creature. If she wanted, Ying Su could be completely controlled by her, unable to do anything.
Yet, right now, Ying Su was letting her stay inside the body without a care.
Even if Ying Su knew about Olivia's thoughts, she wouldn't comment. After all, these matters could be discussed later. Escape from this place first, then consider other things. Ying Su had had enough.
Moreover, although Ying Su felt Olivia wasn't exactly normal either, the impression she gave so far was quite good.
After waiting for some time, the heavy door opened. Out came a young woman wearing a top hat and a tailcoat suit, holding a cane.
She walked over, swaying slightly from side to side with each step. "Oh ho, so you're the one here to pick me up. How adorable. Who is your superior?"
"Doctor Anna," Ying Su said, her attention not on the person at all, but on the closed door behind her. She could see, as expected, another door inside. Ying Su guessed there might be yet another door behind that one.
"Wise. Anna?"
"Yes." Only after obtaining this information did Ying Su pay attention to the person before her. Dressed in attire resembling a magician's, wearing white gloves, she even had a bit of the classic, comical look from silent films. Her face was that of a very cute young girl, yet she sported a standard, handlebar mustache.
"Little Anna. Of course, only she would have such a cute assistant. Though, has she changed her taste recently? I remember she preferred those with better figures," the other party seemed very familiar with Doctor Anna. "Although we don't have any child labor laws or anything, using a child isn't quite appropriate either."
"I am an adult, dear..." Ying Su began, but just as she was about to address the other person, she couldn't think of a suitable term.
'Sister?'
But this person was a big shot on the same level as the Doctor, someone who could decide the life and death of hundreds within a region.
'Senior?'
That seemed a bit too intimate. They had only just met.
"Oh my, calling me that on our first meeting, how embarrassing," the other party said with feigned surprise, clutching her cheeks. Then, she reached out and patted Ying Su's head. "I am the director of Containment Site Two. My nickname is the Trickster. You can use either one as you please."
"Understood, Director Senior," Ying Su said.
"No can do. I don't like that. How about this, you call me Lady Trickster," the Trickster said. "Now, I've introduced myself. It's your turn. Might I have the honor of knowing your name?"
'Wait!' Olivia tried to warn, but Ying Su had already answered.
"Ying Su."
"Oh ho, Ying Su, is it?" the Trickster said, then pulled a talisman from her sleeve. It bore patterns drawn in red cinnabar. With a puff of her breath, the characters for "Ying Su" appeared on it.
Ying Su was taken aback. Then, the Trickster blew another breath, and the talisman instantly burst into flames. The Trickster tilted her head. "Oh dear, oh dear. You lied, Ying Su. That's not your true name."
'Idiot, don't just blurt out your name!' Ying Su's action just now had scared Olivia enough to break a sweat for her. Who knew what tricks this person before them was capable of?
"One shouldn't speak their true name carelessly, Lady Trickster," Ying Su quickly said, having snapped back to her senses. The other party's question earlier was completely inappropriate; it was clearly a trap.
"Oh my, but it's fine. I'll just divine your name instead," the Trickster said with a smile. Then, a deck of tarot cards slid from her sleeve. With a flick of her wrist, she fanned them out into a semicircle in the air. "How about picking one, dear?"
"That won't be necessary, Lady Trickster. We should hurry over," Ying Su, no longer falling for it, said as she turned and started walking ahead to lead the way.
"Hehe, what a good child," the Trickster said, squinting her eyes. "How about coming to our containment site? I could make you a director right away, on the same level as little Anna."
This time, Ying Su didn't even reply. Talking to her was just too dangerous.
Naturally, the walk required passing through several areas. Although Ying Su was just leading the way, the Trickster tried to sell her services to everyone they saw.
"Hello, would you like a fortune reading? It's free."
"Love, career, money—anything you like."
"Lady Trickster, please have some self-respect," Ying Su, unable to bear it, finally said. The latter just shrugged, looking unconcerned.
"Little cutie, your rank isn't high enough for that," the Trickster said, even attempting to take off her top hat and place it on Ying Su's head, but Ying Su dodged.
"Oh my, this time I meant absolutely no malice," the Trickster said with a smile.
"..." But Ying Su no longer believed her. Olivia's advice was to stay as far away as possible; she was more dangerous than even her.
"Alright, Trickster, stop playing around." A familiar voice rang out. For the first time, Ying Su found Doctor Anna's voice so pleasant to hear.
"Oh my, if it isn't little Anna?" the Trickster waved and said.
However, Anna, who had approached in her white lab coat, didn't greet the other party first. Instead, she drew a revolver fitted with a scope and, without a moment's hesitation, fired at her.
The Trickster smiled and extended a single finger.
Click!
The bullet failed to fire. But Anna seemed to have anticipated this. She pulled the trigger again.
The Trickster continued walking closer, extending a second finger.
Poof!
The pistol emitted a small, colorful flag.
Then, the Trickster extended a third finger. But this time, Anna didn't pull the trigger again. She holstered the gun back in her pocket.
"If the bullets won't even come out, the universal scope won't work, little Anna," the Trickster said, drawing close.
Yet, Anna's face showed no trace of fear, only calm composure. "Why is it you? The message from above clearly said a director was coming."
"Oh my, because I thought it would be interesting to come myself. After all, I wanted to see how the Reshaping is going. They can't even find my containment site. It would be wonderful if Reshaping could come play at my site too," the Trickster said.
"Then go see our boss yourself," Anna said coldly, seeming quite unwelcoming. "Ying Su, let's go."
Ying Su obediently hurried to follow, deliberately giving the Trickster a wide berth as she passed. Seeing Anna was already far ahead, she broke into a small run to catch up.
"Hehe, what a lively child. She doesn't seem like a transmigrator. Hmm, a pity I didn't get her name," the Trickster murmured, watching the two figures gradually recede into the distance, her eyes narrowed in a smile. Then, she tossed her hat upwards. The hat swallowed her whole with a whoosh, before disappearing with a poof of white smoke.
