The system space is like a small room.
Beige walls, a tiny sofa, a small stool in front of the sofa with a glass of mint water on it, and fake sunlight streaming through the colored window.
Lin Mu still has silver hair. She looks at the shabby little room, curls up on the sofa, and pulls a small blanket over herself.

“System… your system space is so shabby.”
System: ´ᯅ`
[Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo, Host, don’t look down on me. With points you can upgrade me, you know.]
“I’m sorry.”
[Hey, it’s okay, Host. I’m your System. I support your decision!]
Lin Mu curls up on the sofa. She thinks of Vanessa.
“Will she be very sad?”
[She’s the Destined Protagonist. She’s been through Cycles; you know her mental resilience.]
The System tries to lighten the mood.
[Besides, you were trying to help her. She should… probably… maybe understand?]
Lin Mu doesn’t speak. She just pulls a throw pillow into her arms.
[Host, let’s not think about it.]
[Things like this, if you experience them enough you’ll get used to it. In the next world, we…]
The System pauses.
[It should be that wilderness survival?]
[Don’t worry, with me here, we’ll definitely get by.]
Lin Mu hums in acknowledgment. She holds the pillow higher, covering half her face, revealing a pair of gray eyes with no particular emotion.
[Don’t be like that…]
[Even though we have no points left, my basic functions are still here.]
[I’ll always be with you. Let’s switch worlds, forget this awful mess, and start over, okay?]
Lin Mu doesn’t answer.
[Shall we set off now?]
[If we arrive early, we might catch something good.]
Lin Mu finally nods.
“Let’s go.”
[Roger. Locking onto next world coordinates. Injecting energy…]
[Launch!]
The small room trembles slightly. The fake sunlight streaming through the colored window begins to twist and flow. Lin Mu feels a familiar sensation of weightlessness wash over her.
Then a violent jolt suddenly hits!
As if hit hard by something, Lin Mu is thrown off the sofa, crashes into the beige wall, and rolls onto the floor.
“What’s going on?”
She pushes herself up from the floor, sitting up with a bewildered look.
[Boo hoo hoo, Host, are you okay?]
[We were hit! An unknown object crashed into us!]
“What unknown object?”
Lin Mu grabs the edge of the sofa and climbs up. The small room shakes wildly like a broken boat in a tsunami.
[I don’t know. It’s too big, too fast!]
[It’s dragging us out of the original world!]
“Dragging us where?”
[I don’t know, ahhh!]
The System’s voice is intermittent, mixed with harsh static noise.
[But the situation is very bad, Host. We’re going to crash!]
“Huh?”
‘Just… pretty helpless.’
Author’s Note:
The first world is over, meow. Tomorrow is the new world, meow!
I don’t know how everyone feels, meow, but some babies in the group said the protagonist was toyed with by the villain… That’s not good, meow.
Actually, this cat wrote it this way just to write something exciting, meow.
Maybe I didn’t consider some readers. This cat will try to avoid these situations in the future, meow, focusing the exciting parts on the protagonist and the female lead, meow!
Thank you so much to the babies who have read this far. I like you guys, meow! ( ˶’ᵕ’˶)
