Chapter 34
“Hehehe, once you’ve had enough fun, it’s my turn, you know~”
Raphael walked out from the dust, her white clothes now stained red and yellow.
With purple aura surging over her body, Raphael stepped closer to the Abyss Demon Knights one step at a time.
The powerful aura pressed those armored knights down so they could not stand.
The spear constructed from magic power was also crushed into red particles and scattered at that moment.
Raphael walked up to the knight pinned and unable to move, then crouched, her blood-covered face meeting the knight’s pitch-black mask.
There was a smile on her face.
“Hehe, that was fun, right? Then it’s my turn to play.”
Raphael shook her little pink fist, then punched the knight’s armor.
“Pff… cough, cough.”
Thin streams of blood flowed out from beneath the knight’s mask; the spot that had just been struck was now completely caved in.
Her soft little fists struck the armor again and again, and each blow left a dent in the armor forged from a mixture of tungsten steel and Ormligang steel.
“Aiya~ Is that all? You’re so weak.”
White threads fell from all around, wrapping around the limbs and necks of the several knights; under Raphael’s command, the threads kept tightening.
“I’m done playing, so you can die now.”
Raphael smiled, and the heads of those knights were separated from their bodies.
Most of the forest was destroyed, exposing the soil beneath the grass, and the soil was soaked with blood.
Raphael’s whole body trembled slightly, and she suddenly collapsed to the ground.
Not long after, a figure rushed over in a panic.
“Wait… what is going on here?”
Feisi’s face was full of shock.
The torn limbs and remains of the black-armored knights were scattered all over the ground.
Feisi’s mouth hung wide open.
She had just sensed an unfamiliar magic aura, which was why she had rushed over so urgently.
Even the hand movements she had been doing were forcibly interrupted.
She had been pretty angry, but seeing this scene now, she couldn’t help but be stunned.
Feisi cast a Detection Magic, and only then discovered a thick life aura not far away.
That aura couldn’t help but make Feisi’s brain short-circuit.
“Huh…? How can someone’s life aura be this rich?”
As a member of the Long-lived Species, Feisi had lived for so long and had never seen such a rich life aura.
With a slight clench of her fair hand, a pure white staff appeared in her grip, inlaid with a pink gem.
Countless mysterious runes swirled around the gem.
She layered several Defensive Magic spells on herself and walked warily toward the place where the aura was coming from.
What surprised her was that the source of the life aura was not some monster, but…
“Ah…?! Little Raphael!”
Feisi jogged over.
Looking at the girl on the ground whose body was soaked through with blood, she couldn’t help but feel heartache.
She cast several Body Enhancement Magic spells and, carrying her, ran quickly toward the town.
“Move aside! Move aside! Hey! Everyone get the hell out of my way!”
Feisi ran quickly through the town, and everywhere she passed kicked up a layer of dust.
The townspeople she passed trembled when they heard the voice and instinctively stepped back 2 steps.
Soon a clear, empty path about 2 meters wide was opened in the middle of the road.
Feisi, carrying Raphael on her back, ran off in a whirlwind.
Several young men looked at the violently swaying round mounds and couldn’t help but swallow.
An old man nearby saw the young men like this and walked over, speaking with a slightly warning tone.
“Young men, take my advice: if there are things your eyes shouldn’t look at, don’t look.”
“You’d best pray that this lady does not retaliate against you afterward.”
Hearing the old man’s words, the young men couldn’t help but show surprise.
They even stammered when they spoke.
“M-Miss Fei… Feifei… Feisi is that lady?”
In their hearts, the men began praying that the lady had not noticed their offensive gazes.
“Open the door, open the door, open the door! Aibulun, open up now!”
Feisi pounded violently on the door; the force was so great that the whole house seemed to tremble.
Creak~ The wooden door was pushed open, and a blond man in a clerical robe stepped out.
“What is it? Why are you looking for me at this hour?”
“And Sister Feisi… what is this?”
Aibulun pointed at Raphael, who was on Feisi’s back, and pushed up the gold-rimmed glasses on his face.
Feisi quickly rushed into the room and skillfully soaked Raphael in the pool at the center of the house.
Sizzle… black smoke rose from Raphael’s body, and the body soaked in the pool was burned.
Her skin was burned black.
“Huh?!”
Feisi scooped Raphael out of the pool in 1 motion.
Allenbu rushed over quickly, grabbed Feisi’s shoulder, and said:
“Don’t you know the Demon Race cannot touch holy water?! Put her over there!”
Allenbu angrily scolded Feisi for what she had done and pointed at a small bed placed not far away.
Feisi seemed to know she was wrong and placed Raphael on the bed.
The 2 looked gravely at Raphael on the bed; the burned skin on her body had already healed, as if the blackened skin from moments ago had only been their imagination.
Feisi was bewildered.
Raphael’s life aura was extremely rich, even the strongest people in the empire were far inferior to her, so why had this happened?
“Sister Feisi, let me ask you, are you bored?”
“It’s almost night, and you bring a Demon Race member to knock on my door, the Pope’s house.”
“Are you in a hurry to hand me credit?”
Allenbu said irritably, his brows tightly furrowed in strong dissatisfaction with Feisi’s behavior.
“N-No… it’s fine.”
“I was just too panicked earlier, that’s all.”
Feisi took a handkerchief from her sleeve and wiped away the sweat caused by the intense exertion.
“By the way, don’t get any wrong ideas.”
“This Little Raphael is from the Laiyinmute family, so don’t think about using her to boost your performance.”
When Feisi said this, Allenbu was also somewhat surprised.
He had not expected that the one he had played with since childhood would actually have such a hobby.
“You mean this Demon Race member is from the Laiyin family?”
Feisi crossed her arms and nodded, somewhat embarrassed that she had somehow brought Raphael before this Pope.
She had just thrown Raphael into holy water for a bath to heal her injuries, completely forgetting that Raphael was a member of the Demon Race.
If not for Aibulun’s reminder and her own quick reaction, Raphael would probably have become roast meat by now.
Raphael’s even breathing could be heard.
Allenbu, with a dark look on his face, glanced at Feisi standing nearby looking awkward and said:
“So, Sister Feisi, is there some reason you brought this Demon Race young lady from the Laiyin family here?”
“It can’t be because you thought she was uncomfortable sleeping at the Laiyin house, so you brought her to my house to sleep, right?”
Feisi jumped up and punched Allenbu on the head.
A large bump visibly rose on his head.
“How could that be? Do I look like that kind of bored person?”
Allenbu nodded as a response.
Veins bulged on Feisi’s forehead.
She jumped up to give him another punch, but hit only air.
Allenbu had evidently cast a spell to activate the Divine Art Barrier.
Feisi sighed and began to recount everything that had just happened to Allenbu.
