An epic-level mission…!
Staring at the mission list before her, Bai Yue Ling couldn’t help but zone out.
In her past lives, she had triggered a few epic-level missions, all gruelingly difficult—assassinating a tyrannical lord who ruled with an iron fist, plundering legendary treasure from a pirate ship, infiltrating a dragon’s lair to rescue a princess…
Epic-level missions were a league apart from ordinary ones.
They came with long, difficult processes and at least one formidable boss, typically requiring a team of players above level 50 to complete.
The failure rate was high, and the penalties for failing were severe.
Corrupting Aiya had been a “difficult” mission, and it had already pushed Bai Yue Ling to the brink of self-destruction multiple times.
Now, she was facing an epic-level mission…
“We’re only level 12! Are you trying to set us up?”
Bai Yue Ling said, narrowing her eyes.
“Relax, I’m not sending you to your deaths,” Ming Die shrugged.
“I’m just giving you a long-term goal to work toward.”
“In other words, you want to start your own faction and have us do the grunt work!”
Bai Yue Ling pouted, clearly dissatisfied.
In World of Fate, there were countless factions:
- the Adventurer’s Guild serving players,
- the Alchemical Society focused on alchemy research,
- the Storm Pirates wreaking havoc on the high seas,
- the mysterious and rebellious Witches’ Coven, and more.
Players could join these factions, complete faction-specific missions, and contribute to their growth… or, in plain terms, work for them.
Now, it seemed Ming Die planned to establish her own faction, turning this enigmatic castle into its headquarters, with herself as the leader and Bai Yue Ling and the others as her underlings…
Surprisingly, Ming Die shook her head.
“You’re not working for me. You’re the one who’ll lead this new faction.”
“Me?”
Ming Die extended a translucent finger, faintly revealing the bones beneath, and tapped Bai Yue Ling’s forehead.
[You have learned a new skill: Faction Building.]
At the same time, Dark Lisa’s voice echoed in her mind:
“Interesting… Accept it. This is our chance to take revenge on the entire world!”
Before Bai Yue Ling could react, she felt a wisp of black mist flowing through her body.

Land of Fallen Heaven…?
An unprecedented surge of magical power coursed through her, and as Bai Yue Ling spread her hands, she felt as if the world were within her grasp.
At this moment, with a single thought, she could transform the castle into her Land of Fallen Heaven and become its master.
But Bai Yue Ling didn’t let it go to her head. She looked at Ming Die skeptically.
“Why me as the faction leader?”
Ming Die smiled faintly.
“Because of your unique dark corruption skill. By corrupting our enemies, you can turn foes into allies, expand our influence, and eventually dominate the world.”
Bai Yue Ling squinted. “Oh, you almost had me convinced.”
She had an uneasy feeling, like she was being pushed into a trap, and stayed on guard.
Just then, Luoluo Yue leaned in and whispered temptingly,
“Think about it, Little White. If you become the faction leader, you’ll have a bunch of big sisters working for you. As the boss, you can do whatever you want with them—however you want!”
“Uh…!” Bai Yue Ling’s body quivered as her imagination ran wild.
Corrupting one person at a time was too slow.
But as the leader of an entire faction, she could revel in the joy of being served by big sisters much faster and easier…
Just like the dreams she used to have!
“Hmm… you make a good point. Being the faction leader doesn’t sound so bad…”
Seeing the white-haired, curvaceous girl happily wiggling her hips, Luoluo Yue smirked slyly.
Little White might act like a cheeky imp, but she was easy to sway.
“It’s settled then,” Ming Die said, clapping her hands.
“From now on, Novice Village #4444 no longer exists. In its place, we’ll establish a new faction called…”
She paused, looking at Bai Yue Ling.
What should it be called?
Bai Yue Ling thought for a moment, her gaze flickering between herself and Ying Ye.
“Let’s call it… White Night Castle.”
The village had only housed her and Ying Ye, so she combined the “White” from her name and the “Night” from Ying Ye’s.
[Novice Village #4444 has been renamed White Night Castle.]
As the system prompt chimed, Bai Yue Ling felt the world grow silent, the castle suddenly imbued with an indescribable sense of familiarity.
Her eyes darkened, and invisible black wings unfurled behind her.
A wave of dark, corrupting power instantly enveloped the entire castle—
“Land of Fallen Heaven!”

With 99% of her health and mana drained, Bai Yue Ling blacked out.
Casting Land of Fallen Heaven was more exhausting than ten dark corruptions combined.
Utterly drained, she fell into a deep sleep.
This time, she didn’t dream.
She only felt her body enveloped by something warm and soft.
But in reality…
“Let go.”
Ying Ye had her arms wrapped around Bai Yue Ling’s underarms, letting her rest on her lap, her eyes glaring hostilely at Aiya across from her.
“No way.”
Aiya clung to Bai Yue Ling’s plump, snowy thighs, her gaze firm and focused.
“You’re the one who should let go. I can use Holy Light to make Little White feel warm. What about you?”
Ying Ye sneered.
“We Dark Faction folks despise Holy Light. Don’t you brainless paladin know that?”
“Despise Holy Light? Don’t you know Little White’s best skill is Holy Light Orb?” Aiya glanced at Ying Ye’s chest.
“As for brainless, we’re not so different, are we?”
“Didn’t expect a goody-two-shoes paladin to be so good at arguing. But I’ve already taken care of Little White when she fainted before. I’ve got experience, so you don’t need to butt in.”
“A sneaky assassin knows how to care for someone? Paladins like me are trained to heal the wounded.”
“…”
Hearing the bickering nearby, Luoluo Yue rolled her eyes.
“What’s there to fight over? If it were me, I’d just put a bed down and have both of you sleep on either side of Little White.”
Ming Die glanced at the silly succubus and said gravely, “Good thing you didn’t join the fight, or they’d have obliterated you in seconds.”
