Chapter 58: Disorder Disassembled

Count Eilan.

As a Chaos Demon belonging to the Chaos Legion, he didn’t possess the Chaos Magic typical of his Count rank.

The reason he was able to become a Count was through the numerous achievements he made in Disorder through his brilliant schemes.

While doing so, he assassinated the gifted and used the incompetent as decoys to set them aside, eventually becoming the boss of Disorder.

Being the boss of Disorder was a perfect fit for him, as he particularly enjoyed causing trouble.

Watching humans and Elves fight each other by inciting fear through terror and creating divisions filled him with a sense of ecstasy.

“When the Elemental Cruise Ship falls on the 6th Dimension Fortress, it will be quite a sight to see. Hehehehe.”

The Disorder headquarters where Count Eilan resided was in a Dimension not very far from the Enterprise Union.

That way, he could monitor the results of his terrorism in real-time.

Count Eilan’s room was filled with monitors.

On the screens arranged in two rows of ten vertically, terrestrial broadcasts from humans and Elves were playing.

On the remaining smaller screens, videos from Dytubers filming the Elemental Cruise Ship terror attack were being transmitted.

The Elemental Cruise Ship began to fall.

Lamentation, despair, and shock erupted from all the broadcasts.

Count Eilan cheered with all his might.

He had supported this terrorist attack with everything he had.

The EEE had outwardly rejected his help, but when Disorder handled the document forgery and crew manipulation, they looked the other way and accepted it.

“Once that falls, the frustration I’ve felt will finally be cleared away.”

How many times had he failed until now?

He had succeeded in inducing an Orc invasion into the Dimension where the Jumping Mantis lived, but that was the end of it.

Count Senzo’s invasion of the 6th Dimension Fortress had also ended in failure.

The one involved in all of those incidents was the Outer Mind.

If not for him, the Orc invasion wouldn’t have ended so easily, the Sae Byukho would have sunk, and the 6th Dimension Fortress would have disappeared.

Just thinking about it made him grit his teeth and gave him a headache.

“I wish the Outer Mind was on that ship too.”

Even if he wasn’t on the cruise ship, if Eilan picked a provocative title and spread it across the internet, there would surely be people who agreed.

Baron Place was a Demon of Chaos who had failed to assassinate Choi Kangjoong by using an Ogre as bait.

He still didn’t realize that Kai had been attached to him since then.

A moment later, the Elemental Cruise Ship brushed past the dimension.

Count Eilan threw his keyboard.

The monitor broke, and the keycaps poured out.

“These stupid Elf bastards! I set the table for them, and they couldn’t even shove that one thing into the dimension?”

Count Eilan stormed out of the room in a rage.

The outside was noisier than usual.

Even though this place was underground, making a fuss was forbidden.

Just then, Baron Place passed by.

“Baron Place! What’s going on?”

“Monsters are attacking.”

“All this fuss over mere Monsters? What if we get caught?”

“I don’t think they’re just Monsters.”

“If not that, are you saying the Outer Mind has come?”

Baron Place nodded heavily.

“Don’t talk nonsense! This place is concealed by the Legion’s dimension! A stupid Monster boss could never find it!”

“But the ones breaking through the entrance look exactly like the Outer Mind’s Summons.”

“They’re probably just similar ones.”

“See for yourself!”

Baron Place lost his temper.

Count Eilan added his name to the hit list in his mind and went to the security room to check the CCTV.

Apocalids were pouring in through the breached entrance.

“It really is them?”

“Didn’t I tell you!”

“Fine. You’re right. So you go and stop them.”

“What?”

“I said you go and stop them, you brat.”

“U-Understood…”

Baron Place headed to the entrance with a tearful face.

Kai transferred his tailing from Baron Place to Count Eilan.

“I’m screwed.”

But there was still a way to survive.

There was a secret passage he had dug without anyone knowing, and at the end of it, a small Dimension Ship was hidden.

Count Eilan, who had sent all his subordinates to their deaths, passed through the secret passage and entered the Dimension Ship.

He started the Mana Engine and tore through the camouflage to leave, but the bow collided with something.

He thought it was a rock and tried to push it away, but it wouldn’t budge.

He went out onto the Deck to check properly.

It was a giant Summon of the Outer Mind.

He had watched the video of Count Senzo’s fleet being destroyed so many times that he couldn’t fail to recognize it.

As the Fighter Giants approached, Count Eilan quietly raised both hands.

“Got the leader, too.”

Choi Kangjoong floated above a small Dimension and watched the Disorder headquarters disappear through the eyes of the Apocalid entities.

As soon as Count Eilan was caught, his hands and feet were cut off and he was handed over to Iselin.

He was a prison mate for Count Senzo.

“The Evolution Points are quite decent.”

Most of those in the Disorder headquarters, which was close to a subordinate organization of the Chaos Legion, were Demons.

They gave anywhere from 1,000 to 50,000 points, so his held Evolution Points rose rapidly.

“I’ve already gained 3 million points. This place is a gold mine.”

The battle was extremely easy.

Most of the Demons here specialized in plotting schemes rather than Magic or combat.

The scholarly types of the demon world.

The Apocalid advanced with irresistible force.

They stirred up every corner of the underground headquarters, caught every hidden Demon, and threw them into the Soil Pit.

Iselin’s necklace was also glowing.

That role was originally led by the Chaos Legion and the Greed Legion, and that was why Disorder was created.

However, Disorder’s leadership had vanished, and the next closest, Duke Akirif, was distracted by the Apocalid.

What remained was Doomwheel, the fortress of the Ruin Legion located not far from the Enterprise Union.

“They really are a nuisance.”

“If Doomwheel disappears, we can decommission one Dimensional Fortress. We’ll have more room in terms of power and budget, and if we create a strike force with that, things will improve.”

“Are you planning to attack the Demons?”

“Anything that threatens our safety.”

Iselin and Arthil gave their farewells, and Choi Kangjoong crossed through the Gate.

Arthil held out a card taken from the Captain’s seat.

Iselin took it and examined it from various angles.

“The EEE used this to bypass the security control of the Elemental Cruise Ship?”

“Yes, Princess.”

“The Master Code of the Elf Great Council must be embedded in it.”

The Master Code of the Elf Great Council was an encryption that could grant control of a Dimension Ship just by entering it.

It was intended for emergencies or cases of hijacking and could be used on any Dimension Ship above a certain size.

Since it was very important, few Elves even knew of the existence of this password.

Even fewer Elves knew the actual password.

Only High Elves and prospective High Elves.

“How did the EEE get their hands on the Master Code?”

“Could they have stolen it?”

“Arthil, I don’t believe the world works in such a difficult and complicated way. Someone in the Elf Great Council must have instigated it. Or ordered it.”

If the Elemental Cruise Ship had crashed into the dimension, this evidence would never have remained.

Iselin suspected him the most, as he was an Elf supremacist and a prospective High Elf.

“I will change it to one with a stronger scent.”

Iselin nodded.

The two Elves who enjoyed Elf tea could not imagine that the tea itself was the problem.

The phone rang incessantly.

It seemed like calls were coming from relatives, and even distant relatives he didn’t know existed.

Choi Kangjoong only checked on his Parents’ well-being and turned off his phone.

“What’s with this guy asking to borrow money?”

He checked the Dawnphone.

Messages from Choi Yunseo and Han Junghwa were piled up.

“I should send Kai to Doomwheel first…”

The Stealth Scouts he had sent in advance were gathering information, but since the Central Unit wasn’t there, the information wasn’t being updated in real-time.
