After completing their registration, the trio took their adventurer badges and stepped out of the association’s doors.
“The slime nest doesn’t open until 10, and it’s not even 9 yet. We’ve got over an hour,” Bai Yue Ling said, resting her soft, ample chest in her hands as she looked at the others.
“Got anything to do? If not, let’s check out the dungeon entrance. It’s a four-person dungeon, and we’re still short one teammate.”
Silver Fang tapped her armor, previously damaged by Xueyu, and said ruefully, “I need to get this gear repaired.”
Ying Ye pointed at her empty ninja outfit. “I’m off to buy some throwing weapons that match my ninja vibe.”
Seeing everyone had plans, Bai Yue Ling grinned and started to walk off.
“Then I’ll head to the Fairy House to chill~ Eh, eh, eh?!”
“You’re not going anywhere,” Ying Ye said, yanking her back with a smile.
“Little White~ Now that Aiya’s gone, if I catch another woman’s scent on you, I’ll turn your race into a nine-tailed fox.”
“N-Nine-tailed fox?”
Bai Yue Ling clamped her thighs together, instinctively doing a subtle pelvic lift, and asked cautiously, “How about a nine-tailed cat?”
“No way. A cat’s tail isn’t as big as a fox’s.”
“Uh… well, whether it’s a nine-tailed fox or a one-tailed fox, they only use one tailbone, you know.”
“…You telling me how to do things?”
“No, no, Ying Ye’s totally right!”
Watching the two girls stick together like glue, Silver Fang muttered from behind, “They’ve got such a great bond…”
***
“Kusarigama are way less practical than throwing knives. Why’d you buy so many, obsessed with Water Shadow Ninja or something?”
“Your legs are so white they’re practically snow. Sticking daggers on your thighs is like screaming ‘I’m gonna ambush you!’ Just use your inventory space properly!”
“What a noob~ A rogue should get a short dagger. Short daggers boost Strength E and Speed B. Long blades are Strength C, Speed D. You buying a long blade to seppuku or what?”
“Wow, you’re this bad? Missing the bullseye from that close? Your aim’s off to the North Pole!”
“Look at you, ignoring my kind advice and arguing back… Wait! Ying Ye! What’re you doing? No, don’t—ahh~”

An hour passed quickly. Ying Ye had bought her preferred ninja gear, and Silver Fang’s armor was repaired to a gleaming finish.
They met at the agreed-upon spot outside the city. Silver Fang frowned.
“Why’s Little White looking so out of it?”
Bai Yue Ling was leaning against Ying Ye, her pale, plump thighs trembling uncontrollably.
Her face was as red as a ripe apple, her expression one of loss, as if she’d misplaced something precious.
Ying Ye calmly wiped her fingers on her thigh, leaving a glistening trail, and said, “She’s not feeling well.”
“She does look rough… Should she log off and see a doctor?”
“Nah, she’s fine. She says she’s an athlete; ten minutes of rest will do.”
While Bai Yue Ling recovered, Ying Ye and Silver Fang followed the city’s outskirts to the dungeon entrance.
The slime nest’s entrance was an underground cavern leading deep into the earth, with ten entry points.
Players had to climb down ladders carefully to access the dungeon.
Outside, a dozen Adventurer’s Association staff stood guard, allowing only those with adventurer status who paid 100 gold coins to challenge the dungeon.
This fee deterred many, as 100 gold coins was no small sum.
Some tried to force their way in but were easily defeated by NPCs and hung at the entrance as a warning.
When the three girls reached the entrance, they saw a crowd of players gathered, debating the pros and cons of tackling the dungeon.
“100 gold coins is too much. I’ve only got 200 total. Let’s come back later.”
“Why? Kill a few slimes, gather materials, and you’ll break even. Kill more, and you’ll profit.”
“Nah, no need. Blood Era’s trying to monopolize the place. Go in, and they’ll beat you up.”
As the discussion heated up, a loud cry came from the entrance. Two players climbed out of the cavern.
“Hah… hah… This stupid dungeon’s way too hard!”
A warrior, panting heavily, crawled out and threw her longsword down in frustration.
“This gear cost me 500 gold coins, and it got corroded after a few swings. No way to fight!”
The mage beside her was equally disheveled, clutching her tattered robe to cover exposed skin, sobbing.
“My clothes… the slimes dissolved them completely. And they do really awful things… sob…”
A player asked, “What awful things?”
“After they melt your clothes, they don’t kill you right away. They… wahh… go down and find out yourself…”
With that, the two players logged off, leaving no chance for questions.
After witnessing their sorry state, many players lost their nerve.
“I’m out. Whoever wants this dumb dungeon can have it!”
“This is my new skirt. No way I’m letting slimes ruin it.”
“Heh, sounds thrilling. I kinda wanna go in and enjoy it~♡”
In no time, many players left, abandoning the dungeon run.
Amid the crowd, Xuejianhua snickered to herself.
“Bunch of idiots… Those two were just actors from our guild, scaring you lot off.”
It was obvious if you thought about it. The dungeon opened at 10, so how could anyone crawl out now? Did they camp inside all night?
But the actors logged off too quickly, and with some guild members fanning the flames in the crowd, players didn’t catch on and started backing off.
“Too many people would mess with Big Sis’s plans. This dungeon’s for Blood Era only.”
As Xuejianhua gloated over her clever ploy, a familiar voice rang out from a nearby hill.
Fully recovered, Bai Yue Ling stood atop the hill, looking down at the players below, holding a white megaphone and shouting:
“Good news! Amazing news!
“Priest Hero and Ying Ye are personally leading a team to conquer the Slime Nest! Guaranteed clear, world-first kill!
“The chance of a lifetime, only one spot left! For just 100,000 gold coins, you can share in this historic moment!”
