After returning to the Sleeping Palace, both of them were tired and simply collapsed onto the bed to catch up on sleep.
By the time they woke up, it was already afternoon the next day.
The moment Elia opened her eyes, she saw that little pervert who liked to stare at people while they slept, gazing intently at her.
So she asked, “What are you looking at again?”
“At you. Don’t you know your sleeping face is very beautiful?” Kiz admitted.
“And when I’m awake? Does that mean I’m not good-looking when I’m awake…”
“You’re beautiful when awake too, but you bully me when you’re awake. You don’t when you’re asleep,” Kiz said with great seriousness.
Wait… hasn’t it been you bullying me lately? Hello?
Elia reached out and pinched her cheek, saying, “Well, I’m awake now, so I’m going to bully you right this instant.”
Then, she flipped over and pinned Kiz beneath her.
“Let me have a bite today.”
Hearing this, Kiz’s expression instantly tensed up. “Wait… I’m not ready yet, don’t!”
“No waiting.” Elia directly lowered her head and bit Kiz’s neck.
“Ugh… it hurts… it really hurts… be gentler…”
At that moment, Elia released her bite, licked the blood from the corner of her mouth, and asked, “It hurts, right? So… do you still like being bitten by me?”
Kiz was momentarily stunned by the question.
“Wha-what? What did you say?”
“I asked if you like it? Being a vampire, yet being fed on by a human like me.”
Kiz fell silent for a few seconds at that, then she whispered, “I like it.”
Elia raised an eyebrow. “Oh ho? You like it?”
“Mhm. Even though it hurts, I just… like it,” Kiz said, lifting her head with determination.
“So you’re a masochist,” Elia couldn’t help but laugh.
“You’re the masochist! I’m just… just…”
“Just what?”
Seeing Kiz unable to speak, Elia bit her neck again, this time leaving only a faint tooth mark.
But this action made Kiz shudder all over. With an incredibly adorable expression, she said, “Elia… don’t… don’t do that…”
“Do what?”
Kiz bit her lip and said nothing.
Seeing her like this, Elia suddenly understood something.
So she released her mouth, rolled off to lie beside Kiz, and said, “Alright, I won’t bite anymore.”
“You… you’re not biting anymore?” Kiz’s eyes widened.
“Nope. I’m afraid if I bite any more, you’ll start crying and sniveling again.”
Kiz then looked at her with a complicated expression.
Suddenly, she flipped over and pinned Elia beneath her, smiling as she said, “Then it’s my turn to bite you. Don’t resist~”
Hearing that, Elia quickly said, “Wait… I didn’t say you could…”
But Kiz had already lowered her head, piercing the blood vessel in Elia’s neck with her vampiric fangs.
Immediately, that familiar, pleasurable sensation washed over her, spreading through her entire body like an electric current from the bite site.
“Ah~” The sound escaped her, and her body instantly went limp.
“Kiz… don’t… don’t drink anymore… don’t…”
Within seconds, Elia had no strength left at all, her consciousness even beginning to blur, until once again she felt herself soaring into the clouds.
Yet even like this, Kiz continued to drink, only slowly withdrawing those sinful fangs after she had her fill.
By now, Elia’s cheeks were flushed, her eyes dazed… In short, she was much cuter like this than when she was the one doing the bullying… at least in Kiz’s opinion.
Not that she disliked the bullying Elia much either.
“So, was it good?” Kiz asked.
Ding-dong! Glare mode activated, but it only lasted a few seconds before being defeated… She could only whisper, “…Good.”
And in her heart, she thought: ‘Oh no! The Little Princess has been completely broken by me! The Little Princess now and the Little Princess from a few months ago are totally not the same Little Princess! I really miss the little white rabbit she was at the beginning!’
Then, Kiz said with a smile, “From now on, I’m going to bite you like this often.”
Today was still a very ordinary day~ — by Kiz.
And from then on, the number of times Kiz bullied Elia noticeably increased.
Every morning upon waking, she would first bite Elia, then watch Elia’s body go all soft with a smug smile.
In the afternoon while reading, she would suddenly lean over to bite Elia’s ear or finger, then watch her blush.
Before sleeping at night, she would hold Elia and gently nuzzle against her neck.
Elia found herself increasingly unable to do anything about her.
It wasn’t that she couldn’t resist… she didn’t want to resist, because she had to admit that the feeling of being bitten by Kiz was indeed… very pleasurable.
Of course, she would retaliate too. After all, she was the Contract Master!
Every time Kiz bit her, she would seize the opportunity to bite back, making Kiz’s eyes redden from the pain.
But Kiz seemed to be getting less and less afraid of the pain lately… Sometimes, even with tears in her eyes from being bitten, she would smile and say, “Again! Do it again!”
Help! How can I save the Little Princess who has completely fallen at this point!
This afternoon, the two of them were in the study… just hanging out.
It was just the Little Princess pinching Elia’s hand one moment, poking her cheek the next, then resting her head on Elia’s lap, and so on and so forth.
Elia finally couldn’t take it anymore and said, “Stop fooling around, will you…”
“I said I’m just playing~” Kiz poked her cheek again.
Then, Elia sighed, put down her book, turned to face Kiz, and asked, “What exactly do you want to do today? Tell me, I’ll keep you company.”
“I want you to play with me,” Kiz said.
“Play what?”
“Hmm… let’s play a game!”
“What game?”
“You bite me, I bite you. Let’s see who gives up first.”
What kind of underworld game is this! Well, though it does fit the way vampires might play… wait, no, I’m human!
Whatever, since the Little Princess wants to play, I’ll just play along.
“Are you sure?” Elia raised an eyebrow and asked.
“Sure.”
“Okay.”
Then she reached out, pulled Kiz into her embrace, and lowered her head to bite Kiz’s neck.
The pain made Kiz frown… but, a clear smile hung at the corner of her mouth!
What does that mean? She doesn’t really find pain pleasurable, does she!
After a while, Elia released her mouth and said, “Your turn.”
The moment Kiz’s fangs pierced her blood vessel, that intensely pleasurable feeling surged forth again, almost making Elia cry out.
So she gritted her teeth, desperately holding it in.
After drinking for a bit, Kiz released her mouth and asked, “How was it?”
“…Fine.”
“Then let’s continue.”
Next, the two took turns biting each other like that.
Who knows how long passed before they both collapsed on the sofa, breathing heavily.
Elia’s neck was covered in tooth marks… and so was Kiz’s.
“It’s a draw,” Kiz said with a smile.
“Yeah, a draw.”
But you, a vampire, playing this kind of game with a human and ending in a draw… wouldn’t you be laughed at if word got out? Oh right, you’re the Blood Princess. Besides the Queen, no one in the entire Blood Clan would dare laugh at you…
Then Kiz kissed her on the cheek and said, “Elia… I really like you. I want to drink all your blood, turn you into a specimen, and keep you in my room forever… That way, you can’t betray me…”
Yandere! Little Princess! You’ve really gone bad, haven’t you!
But Elia just sighed at this. After all, this was the path she herself had chosen. No matter how absurd, she had to see it through.
In truth, the peaceful days hadn’t lasted long at all.
This afternoon, Kiz was in the study handling documents when someone urgently requested an audience. Moreover, it was a messenger from the City of Shadows.
“Your Highness! This is an urgent letter from Prince Lisa!” the messenger said.
Kiz took the letter and unfolded it, reading carefully.
After finishing, her expression turned grave.
At that moment, Elia sensed something was wrong and walked over to ask, “What’s the matter?”
Kiz handed her the letter.
The letter read: “Kiz, something’s happened! Lillian is missing! She hasn’t returned since she went to a nearby border town three days ago. We’ve searched everywhere around here, but there are no clues…”
Lillian? That third young lady of the Lasombra Clan? She’s missing?
Elia looked up and met Kiz’s eyes.
“Lillian… someone must have kidnapped her,” Kiz said softly.
“Who?” Elia asked.
“The Holy Grail Order.”
“Huh? Why would they kidnap Lillian?”
“I don’t know… but Lillian is the third young lady of the Lasombra Clan, an important member of the Blood Clan. If the Holy Grail Order wants to move against the Blood Clan, kidnapping her would be a good starting point… No, I have to go to the City of Shadows.”
After saying that, Kiz stood up and straightened her collar.
“Alright, I’ll go with you.”
“Are you sure? It’s likely to be dangerous there…”
But Elia directly took her hand and said, “Let’s go. No more talking.”
