Black-purple lightning morphed into a zigzagging dragon, charging toward Filo, hovering in the sky.
Filo didn’t recognize the move or have the experience to judge it, but her body, perhaps retaining some instincts, instantly pegged it as a lock-on skill—unavoidable.
At the same time, a skill flashed in her mind. Her body moved on its own, countless blood threads weaving rapidly, accompanied by terrifying blood-red mist.
A massive bat silhouette formed around her, her eyes blazing crimson. She raised an arm at the black-purple lightning dragon. Uncountable blood threads surged like a tsunami, crashing toward it.
The two forces collided. At first, the lightning dragon had the edge, but the relentless, seemingly endless blood threads overwhelmed it, crushing it outright.
The lightning dragon snapped like a broken string, swallowed instantly by the blood threads. With unstoppable momentum, they engulfed the Dragon King in a sea of blood threads.
Looking that way, countless threads spread recklessly, wrapping mountains, land, and trees. The Dragon King, mid-air, was bound by endless threads.
Filo tilted her head slightly, snapping her fingers crisply. The threads binding the Dragon King turned transparent, tying her in a rather embarrassing pose, unable to move.
“How… how’s this possible… I’ve been through countless life-and-death battles over 5,000 years. Why’s the gap still so huge? I don’t believe it…”
The Dragon King’s armor crackled with electricity. Filo frowned, flashing before her like she’d teleported—really just moving too fast.
“I know you’ve been through tons of life-or-death fights. You wouldn’t be this strong otherwise. But… ugh, I’m not qualified to comfort you. Just, sorry.”
Filo sighed helplessly. This body’s strength came from the original owner’s training, not her. She didn’t feel this was her victory.
Even so, the Dragon King didn’t get her meaning and couldn’t let it go.
As the Dragon King struggled, Filo’s eyes narrowed, lips pursed. Her leg shot up 180 degrees, slamming heavily onto the Dragon King’s shoulder.
“Sorry.”
Bang!!!!
The Dragon King plummeted, driven by gravity and impact, crashing into the ground. The surrounding miles shook like an earthquake.
Dragon King… out of commission.
Filo clapped her hands. Bingpo and Chiyan rushed over, too far earlier to see clearly.
In their blurry view, they saw red and black-purple clash, then… nothing.
The Dragon King got crushed—practically one-shotted.
Bingpo gulped, stunned. She’d thought the True Ancestor and Dragon King, both Ultimate Beings, were evenly matched. They shouldn’t fight, and if they did, it’d take ages to settle. But now…
The True Ancestor, the legendary first vampire, one of the world’s earliest beings, among the oldest Ultimate Beings. Legend said the True Ancestor was ageless and deathless.
Most knew the legend—it wasn’t secret—but few believed it. The True Ancestor barely appeared since ancient times, with no chance to shine. If not for vampires’ passive ability to sense her emotions and life, they’d have forgotten her.
“Master! So awesome! What was that last move? So badass, crushing the Dragon King in one hit!” Chiyan, beside Bingpo, didn’t overthink. Recalling the red and black-purple clash, she knew her limits but felt her blood boil!
That last move…
Filo froze at Chiyan’s words. She wasn’t sure what it was either, but it felt like the Dragon King’s Ultimate Art—kinda like going Musou mode in a game, feeling unstoppable for a bit…
Gotta check my skill panel later. But first, deal with this Dragon King…
Filo turned to the face-planted Dragon King.
Yikes, face-down like that, she might be disfigured. No blood, though, and she’s a dragon, so it’s probably fine?
Filo crouched, flipping the Dragon King over. Holy crap, her fears came true. That face… where’s the static beauty from earlier? Shouldn’t have kicked so hard.
Filo stared, almost wanting to check her skill list for a “Return My Beauty Punch” move.
Luckily, Bingpo caught Filo’s thoughts and explained, “Don’t worry, Master. Our true forms are dragons. Human form is just an avatar. Switch to dragon form and back, and her face will be fine.”
Filo sighed heavily in relief. Good, good. If she couldn’t recover, Filo would’ve ruined a fine dragon girl, and that’d sit bad with her.
In her mind, dragon girls ranked high among beast girls.
Strength and beauty incarnate—dragon girls!
Who’s above them? Well, cat-ear girls, obviously! Petting cats… hehe, too good! ๑乛◡乛๑
As Filo thought this, Chiyan nibbled her finger, murmuring, “So the Dragon King isn’t a guy? I always thought she was a dude.”
“What… what? A guy?!” Filo whipped her head toward Chiyan. Her brain flashed back to the Dragon King’s stat panel. In the rush, she hadn’t noticed, but the gender was [Female (temporary)], and the race was [Yin-Yang Dragon (can switch genders)].
So this dragon girl’s not exactly “pure,” huh?
But that gender-switching ability… damn, I’m so jealous! Why can’t I swap genders at will? Ugh, so jealous! T^T
