Chapter 7: I Choose You! Wangxia Bucket

“Everybody stop snatching! There’s enough for everyone, don’t fight over it!”

“Damn it, I haven’t eaten in days! Shut your mouth!”

“Drop your mom’s ass! I’m starving till I’m a walking skeleton!”

While the blood clan thugs were still scrambling madly over the box of blood bags—

A figure charged toward them at full speed and slammed straight into the crowd!

Two thugs were sent flying several meters by the impact, while the rest reacted in time and dodged the sudden collision.

“Who—! Who the hell is ramming people here?!”

“Got a death wish?!”

But when the thugs clearly saw who had rammed them, every single one of them widened their eyes in shock.

“That’s…”

“A trash can?!”

What they saw was a trash can standing there. More precisely, a humanoid trash can.

Sturdy, thick limbs that obviously radiated power. What shocked them most was that the opponent was actually a trash can!?

“What kind of monster is that? Trash can person?!”

But the trash can opposite them did not speak. It could not speak at all. 

It simply showed off its thick muscles and struck a few poses.

Finally it extended a hand, signaling for a one-on-one fight and provoking the gang of thugs.

“Getting provoked by a trash can!?”

Furious and humiliated, the thugs swarmed forward, intending to give the trash can spirit in front of them a memorable beating!

The trash can person kicked one thug flying, then swung a hand and slapped the nearby thug aside.

Only one thug remained on the field.

“Don’t, don’t come over—!”

The last thug tried to bolt, but the trash can person charged forward with momentum and knocked the final thug unconscious too.

Life, ah~ Can you let me off this one time~

A BGM inexplicably popped up in Wuming’s mind.

He had thought it was a speed bump.

All the thugs in the alley were now lying on the ground, clutching their injuries and groaning in pain.

That was right. None of them had died; at most they had passed out. This was Wuming’s final act of kindness toward them.

After dealing with the thugs, Wuming strolled leisurely to the box and rearranged the blood bags.

Thankfully none of the blood bags were damaged.

While Wuming was tidying the blood bags, the trash can person walked over to him.

He would keep it around for now, just in case any thug suddenly got up.

As long as he wiped away the spot with blood, the trash can would return to normal without being affected by time.

Confirming all blood bags were intact, Wuming closed the box.

He walked to one of the fallen blood clan thugs and rummaged through the pockets of his clothes.

That token… should be on him, right?

A gold coin lay in Wuming’s palm.

Was this the token Crosti had mentioned?

Wuming held the gold coin up to the light and examined it. Under the illumination it gleamed golden. The front was engraved with the organization’s pattern, while the back featured a flower emblem.

It had to be said, the token’s craftsmanship was quite nice.

But he had only found one on this guy…

Wuming’s gaze turned to the blood clan thug he had just searched. It seemed he had also participated in that Scarlet Night.

Could it be that all the thugs here had joined?

To verify this guess, Wuming ordered the trash can spirit to help search the bodies of the other thugs.

After a round of thorough searching, Wuming now held nine of these tokens in his hand.

“This is the Other Race Bureau hotline. How may I assist you?”

The operator’s voice came from the other end.

“Hello, I’d like to report something.”

“I found a group of black households lying unconscious in Chaoyang Alley. Please send someone over.”

Then Wuming hung up directly.

We really are a great guy, huh.

Wuming’s gaze turned to the trash can.

He had almost forgotten about you.

Wuming reached toward the trash can’s lid and gently wiped the spot. The trash can immediately returned to normal.

After placing the trash can back in its original position, Wuming shouldered the box of blood bags and continued on his way home.

He even hummed a little tune.

“I’m back.”

Wuming carried the large box of blood bags home. Serena had been waiting for a long time. The moment she saw him return, she pounced forward.

“So much blood!”

Under Wuming’s gaze, Serena took two more blood bags. For tonight’s dinner she had finished four bags just like that.
