After pushing open the stone door, a wave of hot air rushed in.
Before the group was a corridor burning wildly, with flames spewing from both side walls. The ground was so hot it could probably melt steel.
“Last time was water, and now it’s fire?” Elia said softly.
Then, she released Holy Light, forming a shield around the four of them that blocked most of the external heat. But they could still feel the high temperature. If they were ordinary people or weak in combat, they would have been roasted into sizzling barbecue by now.
“Let’s try to move quickly,” Elia said, and they quickened their pace.
However, they hadn’t gone far when a Flame Giant, several dozen meters tall and made entirely of magma, blocked their path. The next second, it raised its hand and slammed down.
“Scatter!” Elia shouted, and the four of them quickly dispersed.
The giant missed, but it still smashed a deep crater into the ground.
At that moment, Kiz leaped up, swung the Blood Abyss, and slashed into the Flame Giant’s magma body, sending sparks flying. But the giant’s arm only shook; it didn’t break.
“Damn, is this magma arm that hard?” Kiz gritted her teeth.
Then Elia fired a beam of Holy Light into the giant’s eye. It roared in pain and covered its eye.
Seeing this, the four of them struck at the same time—truly in sync.
Lisa used Shadow Power to form chains, binding the giant’s legs, then drew her black twin blades and charged in for close combat.
Vian continuously unleashed Powerful Water Streams, attacking the giant’s chest. She was probably dealing the most damage among them.
Kiz leaped onto its shoulder and stabbed her Scythe hard into the back of its neck.
As for Elia, she kept striking its eyes with Holy Light.
Even though the giant struggled frantically, their coordinated teamwork prevented it from escaping. At most, it could spew out large flames, but Elia’s Holy Light Shield was too authoritative. No matter what magic the giant used, it couldn’t damage the shield at all.

Finally, after a desperate roar, its body collapsed.
The four landed on the ground, panting heavily.
“And this is just the beginning… how many more are there?” Kiz looked at the seemingly endless corridor and sighed.

Elia reached the Crystal Pillar, grabbed the red gem, and the next second, the Crystal Pillar shattered. All the Flame Humanoids in the area vanished at once.
Then, a white light flashed, and Elia and the others appeared before another stone door. On it was carved: “Trial of Fire, Congratulations on Passing.”
Vian plopped down on the ground and shouted, “So tired! So tired! And this is only the Second Region! Hey, how many more are there?”
