Molly Singia, she is the key figure of Chapter Two, and a slave girl of the Pirate King.
Baiya knew that now the pirates had boarded the ship and launched their attack, and she was the leader. Those villains who spent their lives licking blood from the blade would kill anyone on sight—there was no way to avoid a fight once they met.
In other words, if she led the warriors to meet Molly, they would probably be killed instantly; even if they ran into other pirates, they would hardly escape a deadly battle. The smartest thing to do in this situation was—escape in secret!
If they stayed on the ship, they would either be locked up or killed. If lucky, they might be captured by pirates, but that was just a relatively less terrible outcome.
The best ending would be to escape from the transport ship! Flee from the pirates’ clutches! Reach the continent and start a brand-new life! Baiya had already decided to give her all and lead the companions who trusted her toward that future!
From now on, she would take charge of everything!

Arthur saw that Baiya just ran off, not giving him a second thought, and his rage soared. He nearly wanted to order Shadow Spider and Curse Doll to hunt down and kill those fleeing lowlifes!
But in the end, he didn’t get the chance. Just then, excited and bloodthirsty cries and shouts erupted outside the arena’s main gate, and a group of fierce-looking men quickly appeared at the door, their clothes stained with blood and weapons in hand.
“Pirates?!” Arthur noticed that some of them had skull emblems sewn onto their clothes—a pirate symbol.
It was a skull with six wings. Arthur found it laughable, because he didn’t recognize this pirate insignia; it didn’t belong to any established pirate faction. That meant they were newcomers.
And yet these mere upstart pirates dared to attack Amidal’s ships—truly arrogant fools who didn’t know their own limits!
“Slaughter them.”
Arthur raised his hand to cover his face, revealing venomous eyes between his fingers.
When the pirates spotted Arthur and Liumiōn, and the slave girls beside them, the younger pirates grew excited and couldn’t wait to charge in. Following the leader’s orders, they would spare any young and pretty girls, but kill everyone else regardless of identity. In other words, the harder they fought, the more girls they would get to enjoy!
The more experienced pirates stood at the doorway, watching with caution. They sensed something was off: so many people in the arena had died—an obvious disaster—yet the survivors didn’t have a scratch, especially the black-haired girl and the two men, whose clothes were spotless.
They had been with Molly for a while and had seen their leader unleash her race talent to seize territory. That destructive power was not to be underestimated. Anyone who survived the leader’s attacks was no ordinary foe. So, towards Arthur and the others, they stayed vigilant and extremely careful.
Arthur’s two slave girls—Shadow Spider and Curse Doll—had already moved to intercept the pirates the moment he shouted in anger. Shadow Spider sprinted ahead, leaving Curse Doll behind. As the enemy drew closer, she unleashed the race talent she’d suppressed for so long, revealing all her murderous intent!
By order of His Highness Arthur, these wretches must die!
Eight armored black limbs sprouted from the shadowy matter behind Shadow Spider’s back, as sharp as eight scythes, or eight spider legs, flailing menacingly. Hugging her arms to herself, Shadow Spider let out a pleased sound, her eyes instantly brimming with tears, her face flushing crimson.
Two of the black armored limbs suddenly stabbed into the ground, their joints bending back to normal, supporting Shadow Spider in mid-air—making her the core of the eight limbs.
With these limbs, Shadow Spider advanced ever faster! She closed the distance with the pirates by the second!
Escape was impossible now! The young pirates saw a loli suddenly transform into a spider-like monster, a terrifying sight that left them horrified—but their fear was soon harvested by the razor-sharp arcs.
Heads rolled one after another. Shadow Spider slowly halted, stretching out her limbs, and listened as headless bodies thudded to the ground behind her.
Thick blood streamed down the armored limbs, staining Shadow Spider’s small face. She closed her eyes, relishing the feeling of being bathed in blood, her longing for slaughter and violence growing ever stronger.
This was truly wonderful—battle was an amazing thing~ Shadow Spider felt her whole body boiling, a wide grin curving her lips.
“Not enough, I want more and more!” Shadow Spider slowly turned her neck to look at the pirates watching at the doorway. The moment she noticed them, a bloodthirsty scarlet flashed in her eyes, her petite body trembling with excitement!
There were still so many left to kill!
“Careful! She’s the same kind as the leader! She’s a slave girl too!” An experienced pirate recognized Shadow Spider’s ability as a race talent and quickly shouted a warning to his comrades.
“The leader said that if there’s a slave girl present, that means Amidal’s royalty is nearby. That’s got to be them!” Another pirate pointed excitedly at Arthur and Liumiōn.
“Send up the signal flare! Alert the leader! We’ll try to stall them until the leader arrives!”
With a shrill whistle, a crimson smoke exploded in the sky. On the other side of the transport ship, Molly—who was leading the pirates in battle with the nobles’ guards—saw it and gave some serious instructions to her subordinates, then handed command to her deputy, summoning a giant wave to carry herself rapidly toward the smoke’s source.
“Die! Die! Die!”
Shadow Spider wasn’t about to wait for everyone to get ready. She charged straight into the pirates, grinning madly as she swung her razor-sharp limbs. Even the pirates skilled in martial arts could only block one strike before the other limbs tore them apart.
It was only when several of the strongest, gold-ranked pirates used their palace-grade defensive techniques that Shadow Spider’s assault slowed, giving the pirates a brief chance to catch their breath.
But that didn’t last long.
Shadow Spider suddenly let out a chilling laugh. She withdrew her limbs from the pirates’ blades, then leapt lightly three or five meters backward. At that moment, the black armored limbs burst apart into black mist and vanished, and the sticky, chaotic darkness drifted from her back to in front of her.
“You’ve all seen me now.”
At these words, most of the pirates showed expressions of shock. It was only natural—they could all see Shadow Spider clearly; even the one-eyed pirates could describe her appearance and clothing.
Shadow Spider’s form was reflected in all their eyes.
“Hehe.” Shadow Spider gave a twisted smile, brimming with delight!
So many more for her to kill.
“Th-this is!”
Suddenly, most of the pirates found themselves unable to move. Only their terrified eyes could dart around, watching as their own shadows twisted beneath their feet, morphing into pitch-black blades that wound up their bodies like snakes.
“You’re done for! Didn’t I tell you! The leader said, if you meet a slave girl who looks like a spider, never look at her!”
Hearing the voices of their terrified comrades, the pirates who’d sensed trouble when Shadow Spider withdrew her limbs and had kept their eyes shut showed pained expressions. When the warm blood splattered their faces, despair spread through their hearts.
Before launching the assault, Molly had given her pirate captains a few key instructions to relay to their subordinates. Now it was clear that job hadn’t been done well.
One key instruction was never to let Shadow Spider’s shadow enter their field of vision. If they accidentally saw it, they might survive if they gouged out their eyes; otherwise, death was certain.
Other instructions: Once on board, kill to your heart’s content, but only keep young and pretty girls as captives. Kill all nobles on sight—except the two princes of Amidal, who must be taken alive as hostages.
There were three slave girls aboard, and they never strayed far from Amidal’s princes. Wherever the slave girls were, the princes would be near.
Set up detection spells at all times to guard against curses. As long as that was handled, the slave girl [Curse Doll] was not difficult to deal with. But as for the third slave girl, aside from Shadow Spider and Curse Doll, she must never be fought!
At this moment, Samsara Tenki was guarding Liumiōn’s side. She had no intention of joining the fray—nor did she need to. In just a few short minutes, the pirates who had reached the arena had nearly all been slaughtered by Shadow Spider.
Shadow Spider’s race talent had developed two abilities. Though this ranked her only in the middle-lower tier among Amidal’s slave girls, unless a diamond-ranked enemy appeared, she had no real opponents.
“Molly said, never look into her eyes.”
As Shadow Spider was massacring the pirates, she heard the sound of rushing wind. Instantly, she spun her armored limbs around herself in defense.
Her armored limbs had always been her greatest reliance, unfailing in both attack and defense—the abilities she was most confident in.
But this time, they let her down.
The sound of shattering and explosions erupted at the same time. A massive waterspout instantly smashed Shadow Spider’s limbs, sending her flying through the air, finally crashing heavily to the ground. Lying there, she coughed up a mouthful of blood, her face contorted in pain.
Molly dispersed the sphere of water in her hand and walked in from the doorway. With a look, she reassured her subordinates, then raised her head and gazed expressionlessly at two familiar people—the princes of Amidal.
“Long time no see, Prince Arthur, Prince Liumiōn. Number 013, slave girl [Evil Dragon Emperor of the Deep Sea], Molly Singia, reporting in. I hope you’ll surrender quietly—otherwise, Molly will have to hurt you.”
Molly watched the princes’ gradually darkening expressions with a half-smile, the coldness in her heart growing stronger.
It was time for revenge.
