Elia walked quietly down the corridor. She had just returned from the Garden, with a few fallen leaves still clinging to her skirt.
As she rounded a corner, a hand suddenly reached out from the shadows, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her inside.
Before Elia could react, a petite body pressed against her… The Little Princess Kiz stood on tiptoes, bracing her hands against the wall on either side of Elia’s ears, trapping her between herself and the wall.
“Got you~”
Kiz said in a somewhat morbid tone.
Elia’s lips curled up slightly.
“Are you following me?”
Then Kiz quickly leaned in, her nose almost touching Elia’s.
“I’m hunting.”
She slid her knee between Elia’s legs and gave a gentle upward thrust… This instantly disrupted Elia’s breathing.
“It’s… it’s daytime, and you…”
“What’s wrong with daytime? Can’t I hunt during the day?”
Kiz looked completely innocent as she spoke, then pushed her knee upward again… This time harder. This girl…
Elia suppressed a certain sensation and laughed directly.
“Say, Little Princess Kiz, have you forgotten who the prey is between us?”
Kiz froze for a moment.
The next second, Elia’s hand quickly slid from her shoulder to her waist and tightened, and in that instant, their positions reversed.
Kiz was pinned against the wall. Elia propped one hand above her head, used the other to firmly grip her chin, then lowered her head and pressed her lips to the tip of the Little Princess’s ear.
“You run fast, but not fast enough~”
“You cheated… You’re stronger than me.”
Kiz said softly.
“This isn’t cheating. This is pure dominance.”
Elia released Kiz’s chin, then slid her fingers from her neck to her collarbone, and from her collarbone to her shoulder. At each spot, she lightly traced with her nails. Moreover, Kiz’s clothes were thin enough to clearly feel the temperature of her nails.
“And… you said you were hunting just now?”
“Mm. What about it?”
“Then do you know what happens when the prey is stronger than the hunter?”
To that, Kiz shook her head. Elia smiled and grabbed Kiz’s skirt, slowly lifting it up.
“The prey will devour the hunter~”
“E-Elia…”
At that moment, Kiz’s voice began to tremble.
“Shh…”
Elia’s finger lightly traced along her thigh.
“Someone in the hallway might hear.”
Kiz bit her lip, trying hard not to make a sound. But Elia’s hand was moving higher and higher.
“Y-you… that’s enough…”
“Enough? I don’t think it’s enough yet.”
Elia’s finger moved to a certain spot on Kiz and pressed gently. That instantly made Kiz’s legs give out, and she collapsed entirely. However, Elia caught her and lifted her up.
“L-let me go.”
“No way. Which Little Princess just said she was going to hunt me?”
Then Kiz buried her face in Elia’s shoulder and fell silent. Elia quickened her pace and rushed into their room.
“Huh? I… I think I just saw Elia running past holding something…”
After the door closed, Elia heard Vian’s voice.
“You’re seeing things. She was holding Kiz.”
Then came Lisa’s voice.
“Isn’t that the same thing!”
“No, it’s not. Kiz isn’t a thing.”
“Uh… that sounds kind of like an insult…”
As the voices faded away, Elia laid Kiz on the bed and looked down at the Little Princess, whose face was now redder than red.
“You heard that? They said you’re not a thing.”
She teased.
Kiz glared at her.
“You’re the one who’s not a thing!”
Then Elia leaned down, bracing her hands on either side of her.
“But I am your thing…”
However, Kiz suddenly said darkly, “You just said the prey will devour the hunter.” The next second, she grabbed Elia’s collar.
“Then who is the prey now?”
Kiz yanked hard, pulling Elia down onto the bed, and flipped over to straddle her.
“Now, I’ve become the hunter again.”
Kiz lowered her head and bit Elia’s collar.
“You…”
“Don’t move. I’m going to eat slowly…”
Then Kiz bit from the collar to the collarbone, and from the collarbone to the shoulder. Each bite was light, but enough to leave shallow teeth marks.
“Hey, Kiz… when I bite you, it hurts a lot, right?”
Elia’s inexplicable question made Kiz pause. After all, who says something like that at a time like this?!
But Elia used this opportunity to flip over and pin her down again, firmly controlling her wrists so she couldn’t resist.
“Haha, you’ve become the prey again, Little Princess~”
Kiz struggled a few times but it was useless, so she could only glare at her… but under Elia’s gaze, she surrendered again.
Elia watched her puffed-up expression and laughed out loud. She then released Kiz and lay down beside her.
“Alright, no more messing around.”
At that, the Little Princess obediently stayed still and stopped bothering her. The two entered a rare moment of quiet.
In the afternoon, the two were sunbathing in the Garden. Well, “sunbathing” actually just meant Elia lying on the grass, with Kiz resting her head on Elia’s stomach.
“Hey, have you gained weight recently?” Elia suddenly asked.
“What did you say?”
“I said you’ve gained weight. Your head is hurting my stomach.”
Kiz sat up and stared at her expressionlessly. Then she stood up and sat down right on Elia’s stomach.
“And now?” she asked sourly.
Elia almost had the wind knocked out of her.
“You…!”
“What about me? Don’t you know it’s very rude to comment on a girl’s weight!”
Kiz pressed down harder as she spoke.
“Your Highness, have mercy! I shouldn’t have said you were heavy!” Elia quickly begged for mercy.
Only then did Kiz snort triumphantly, get off her, and rest her head on Elia’s stomach again.
Elia caught her breath. “You’re getting more and more violent.”
“Aren’t you more violent than me?” Kiz opened one eye and asked.
“How am I violent?”
“You forgot? You used to bite me every day… Isn’t that violent?”
“Th-that’s love!”
“Mm… then do you love me?” Kiz asked.
“Isn’t that obvious? Little idiot.”
“Who are you calling an idiot! You’re the idiot! Idiot, idiot, big idiot!”
“Are you a child?”
“Hmph! I… I’m ignoring you!”
Despite saying that, Kiz’s mouth was curled into a big smile.
Of course, Lisa and Vian were also in the Garden, not far from Elia and her.
“Hey, Lisa… those two are making me not want to drink blood anymore. I’m almost full from all this dog food.” Vian gently swirled the blood in her cup.
Lisa took a sip of the delicious dragon blood, then said, “Isn’t that good? Kiz can go back to being her old self.”
“That’s true, but… Huh? What’s this?” A drop of water fell on Vian’s hand. She looked up, then shouted toward Kiz and Elia, “Hey! You two! It’s about to rain! Get back inside!”
