“You insignificant creature!”
Ladespina fired Fireballs wildly in every direction.
She mixed binding and freezing magic between the Fireballs, making them difficult to evade.
Choi Kangjoong and Lutal calculated the magic’s trajectories through the eyes and brains of the Sky-eye Giant, either slicing through them or dodging.
Even if a Dragon Lord possessed superior calculation skills and could fire countless spells with her overflowing Mana, she could not surpass the performance of 303 brains.
Choi Kangjoong and Lutal easily shattered her Shield with their Death Blades and burrowed inside.
It was a joint attack from both the front and back. Ladespina could not properly respond to the attacks, which were coordinated so perfectly they seemed to come from a single organism.
Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!
Long wounds appeared on Ladespina’s back and chest. She pushed out the encroaching Death Mana with ten times the amount of Mana.
“How could my Great Magic…?”
She was an absolute being within the Great Magic that expanded and strengthened her Dragon Tongue.
It wouldn’t have been strange to call her a god of war who knew no defeat.
The possibility of being wounded so easily was close to 0%.
Even the bombardments that should have had their trajectories curved or failed on their own were landing accurately on her body.
“This shouldn’t be happening…”
Only after six more bloody lines were carved onto her body did Ladespina discover the Source Energy emanating from Choi Kangjoong.
“To think it could neutralize my magic…!”
Ladespina reassigned Choi Kangjoong as the most threatening target.
If her Great Magic was being neutralized, even she could not win against hundreds of thousands of enemies.
The range of the Dimensional Erosion was also widening.
“Die!”
Ladespina poured out Dragon Tongue Magic. It was a spell similar to creating Death Mana remotely.
“It’s nothing special,” Choi Kangjoong said.
It was a power capable of bringing death to all living things in a small dimension.
However, for a giant Hive Mind, it was a spell that could simply be swallowed whole.
“So, mental attacks don’t work.”
Ladespina had no choice but to admit it. This was the strongest enemy she had ever faced.
“Then I’ll crush you with this body.”
Ladespina charged.
A massive vortex formed from the sheer acceleration, accompanied by a thunderous roar.
Choi Kangjoong flew backward, transforming both arms into Mana Cannons and firing.
Ladespina gave chase tenaciously, enduring his attacks, numerous other Mana Cannons, and Lutal’s Scythe Claws.
A fierce battle broke out.
Great bolts of lightning struck down, scorching the earth and splitting monsters apart.
Fire rain fell, setting the atmosphere ablaze and drying up all the water in the dimension. The Breath left huge scars on the land, and the Mana Cannons flattened the uneven terrain.
As time passed, Ladespina was the one at a disadvantage.
The range of her Great Magic gradually shrank, and her wounds multiplied.
This was because the Central Command Giant had found a way to remove the Mana Stones.
No matter how powerful the Great Magic was, it was spread over a wide area, so it couldn’t make a Goblin defeat a Battle Titan.
Therefore, units like the Central Cannon Giant or Battle Titan could pull the Mana Stones out of the ground despite any interference.
After that, they just had to shatter them or disconnect them from the Great Magic. They could even destroy those underground using the Super Titan’s Breath.
Ladespina’s army also dwindled rapidly. Most of the dimension had been cleared, and half of the dimension was now eroded. Ladespina had only one-tenth of her Mana left.
Her entire body was covered in wounds from the Death Blades.
In contrast, Choi Kangjoong and Lutal were perfectly fine.
They had been hit a few times by Ladespina’s attacks, but they healed themselves by converting Source Energy into Life Essence.
The number of Titans and Super Titans remained the same.
The Apocalid on the ground recovered their losses using the nutrients obtained from killing monsters.
Ricora and the other dragons had fled long ago. Now, the only being in this dimension that wasn’t an Apocalid was Ladespina.
She had to choose. Flee, or fight until death.
Ladespina slowly increased her altitude.
The work she was doing here was important, but it wasn’t more precious than her life. Ladespina soared upward quickly.
She thought that if she decided to run, nothing would be able to stop her. After all, her greatest enemy was connected to the dimension via Biotubes.
Ladespina kept her eyes on Choi Kangjoong and Lutal below as she headed toward the Dimensional Sea.
Because of that, she failed to see Kuongi moving, having severed the long, trailing Biotubes. She only noticed once a massive, pitch-black shadow filled one side of her vision.
Ladespina’s pupils darted around in a panic. By then, she was already inside Kuongi’s wide-open mouth.
Crunch!
Kuongi closed its mouth. Giant teeth pierced through the hard scales. Some teeth broke off instead of piercing the hide.
Gasp!
Ladespina coughed up blood.
She struggled to escape the mouth, but it was a futile effort with teeth embedded all over her body.
She tried firing magic, but it took ages just to damage the thick chitin armor. Even the Dragon Tongue Magic that pronounced death did not work.
There was no way a mental attack would work on a Special Entity closely linked to the Outer Mind.
Kuongi produced Walkers and sent them into its mouth.
The Walkers tore off Ladespina’s scales, dug through her hide, and sliced her flesh. Ladespina was dismantled alive while held in Kuongi’s teeth.
It happened because of a single moment of carelessness.
“Ladespina,” Choi Kangjoong said as he flew closer.
Ladespina let out a weak laugh.
“To think I’m dying after being bitten by a mere monster.”
“I heard you opened a Gate on Earth. Why?”
“Do you think I would answer that?”
“If you answer, I’ll kill you quickly.”
Cough!
Ladespina vomited blood. It was because of the Walkers touching her internal organs.
“Fine. I’m dying anyway. I’ll tell you. The purpose was information gathering.”
“Why information?”
“Because it was a place to be occupied. And it’s a place where the Dimension System is well-activated.”
Choi Kangjoong was now certain that Ladespina wasn’t the culprit behind the Gate Incident he had been caught in.
That incident’s purpose had been slaughter from the beginning.
“What were you going to do with the Dimension System after occupying Earth?”
“Destroy it!”
“Why? No, was it even something that could be destroyed?”
“You’re like an insignificant creature that knows nothing. Do you think the Dimension System exists for your sake?”
It was a topic Choi Kangjoong had never considered.
“Why do you think the system that rules the world allows beings like demons to exist?”
“Then why does it exist?”
“You are being raised. By a system that distorts the world!”
“You’re not much different.”
To Choi Kangjoong, the dragons who used other races as Guardians and slaves seemed no different from what Ladespina claimed the Dimension System was. He didn’t think that was the purpose of the Dimension System either. It just sounded like the sophistry of an arrogant dragon.
“If you use Source Energy, you should know. That the Dimension System suppresses Source Energy.”
“It didn’t seem that way to me.”
“Nonsense! The Dimension System fundamentally prevents the use of Source Energy. That’s how it blurs the essence of the world and prevents the development of existence.”
“And what you were doing was destroying the Dimension System?”
“You’ll know if you go to my lair.”
“Is that also the goal of the one you call the Prince?”
Ladespina closed her eyes.
Since she had said this much, she was asking to be killed. Choi Kangjoong felt it was a shame he couldn’t hear about the Prince, but thinking he had learned a lot, he sent Lutal forward.
Soon, Ladespina’s brain was destroyed, and her massive body disappeared into Kuongi’s stomach.
The third condition for adding the Special Entity production function was met. Only two remained.
‘The lair…’
Choi Kangjoong went down to the lair. Kai appeared and revealed the internal structure of the lair he had scouted in advance.
“It’s incredibly huge.”
The area of just one room exceeded 30 square kilometers, and there were several such rooms.
‘I suppose I should have just listened more carefully if I knew it was this large.’
Skree!
Kai sent Stealth Scouts throughout the lair.
Among the various rooms, they focused on the area where Ladespina had been working.
One Stealth Scout discovered a map.
Since it was something Ladespina used, it was enormous, and one had to look down from the air to grasp the entire content.
‘So what’s at the bottom is the Enterprise Union.’
The territory of the Enterprise Union was drawn in a place considerably shifted downward from the center. It was a map that showed an area incomparably wider than what Iselin’s Black Market Map displayed.
‘The area around the Enterprise Union was Ladespina’s assigned zone.’
Ladespina’s name was written in the center of a circle that included the Enterprise Union. To the left of the name was the Giant Eyant Colony, and to the right was the Island Whale.
There were six such circles in total. They formed a hexagon around the center of the map, each with the name of a leader written on it.
‘I’ve already taken out a fairly large organization.’
It was an organization working on a territory so vast that the Enterprise Union seemed like a tiny fraction.
‘The Apocalid will grow tremendously if I consume all of this.’
Even while recognizing that, Choi Kangjoong naturally felt no fear. It only looked like large and delicious prey.
‘I thought the Demon Realm was a bit small, but there’s so much to eat. Is that “Prince” being the one in the center?’
Choi Kangjoong decided to send a Central Stealth Scout. Even if it took a long time, it seemed better than doing nothing.
The Central Stealth Scout produced by Kuongi headed north of the Enterprise Union. Before long, it was so far away that even the eyes of the Sky-eye Giant could no longer see it.
[Dimensional Devouring has begun.]
After clearing out everything in Ladespina’s Lair, the Walkers spread spores.
Since the Dimensional Erosion was already halfway complete, the speed of Dimensional Devouring was much faster.
[Dimensional Devouring is complete.]
“Let’s spread out and eat everything.”
The Central Units scattered in all directions while riding Titans. Numerous dimensions were devoured simultaneously, and nutrients and Evolution Points poured in.
[Evolution Points Held: 132,377,492 points]
Once he devoured all of Ladespina’s territory and the other dragons’ territories, the Evolution Points exceeded 100 million.
It was a level incomparable to the past when he fought Goblins and Orcs. However, Choi Kangjoong was still hungry. He needed more Evolution Points.
‘Now it’ll take 100 million just to synthesize an Evolution Code, and species evolution needs 1 billion.’
Whatever he did, Evolution Points were required in the hundreds of millions. Even unlocking the Colony Class required 1 billion points.
‘I just have to eat everything. First, let’s produce Warriors and Giants.’
Choi Kangjoong doubled the number of Warriors and Giants.
The total number of Warriors became 20,000, and the total number of Giants became 2,000.
He also increased the number of Central Command Warriors and Central Command Giants.
‘Only now have I surpassed 300,000 units. There’s a long way to go.’
For Choi Kangjoong, who used to handle 1,000,000 Walkers with a single mouse click in Dimension War, 300,000 was too small a number. Choi Kangjoong wanted to maintain at least 1,000,000 Walkers as soon as possible.
“Should I go left or right?”
To the left, where the Apocalid were positioned, was the Giant Eyant Colony, and to the right was the Island Whale.
“I can get the Special Entity production function if I catch both.”
The conditions for adding the Special Entity also included the Eyant Great Queen. Since it was the Eyant Great Queen who ruled the Giant Eyant Colony, devouring that place would fulfill that additional condition.
“Or should I strike the Demon Realm?”
The state of the Demon Realm was also unusual. Money and troops were gathering at the instigation of Duke Akirif.
‘I’ll send them to all three locations and go to whichever one looks the tastiest.’
Choi Kangjoong grouped five Titans and ten Light Titans together and sent them toward the Giant Eyant Colony, the Island Whale, and the Demon Realm.
He packed them full of small Apocalid so they wouldn’t be caught off guard by an assault.
