A death trap!
That line she blurted out just to provoke Adrian—”I stay with Carola because she’s pretty!”—was heard perfectly by the lady herself!
Phyllis’s blue eyes constricted.
Her brain, driven by survival instinct, whirred at lightning speed, trying to weave a perfect excuse that could both save her life and soothe the white-haired, red-eyed Blood Tribe yandere before her.
“I… I was telling the truth, meow!”
Phyllis tilted her small face up, making her gaze appear crystal clear.
“Master, you are very, very beautiful! You are powerful and elegant! That old man who crawled out of the Dungeon can’t even compare to a single strand of your hair! He actually wanted me to follow him? He’s just a toad lusting after swan meat! Ptooey!”
As Phyllis belittled Adrian, she carefully watched Carola’s expression.
Under the moonlight, Carola’s exquisite face didn’t seem to change, but Phyllis saw a slight flicker of movement deep within those red eyes.
‘It’s working! Did I fool her?’
Phyllis felt the pressure from Carola’s hand on her calf lighten significantly.
“Phyllis,” Carola’s hand didn’t leave; instead, she gently stroked the healed skin on Phyllis’s calf.
“I am not angry because of what you said~”
“Eh?”
Phyllis blinked, feeling a bit surprised.
“On the contrary, I feel quite happy!”
Carola leaned down slightly, bringing their eyes closer together.
“I am glad you like me! Even if it is only for my beauty… because I like you!”
Carola’s fingertips lightly brushed the fur near Phyllis’s ear.
Her voice was as soft as silk, yet every word was clear.
“Naturally… I also hope your gaze only stays on me.”
Carola’s long white hair fluttered in the night wind, carrying the scent of the night, but it did nothing to diminish her majesty and beauty.
‘You really are such a yandere…’
Phyllis mentally facepalmed.
She had already grown accustomed to Carola’s textbook yandere speeches, even feeling a strange, wonderful sense of relief that “all was as expected.”
“Tell me what happened to you…”
Carola reached out and grabbed Phyllis, pulling her up from the ground.
“Okay, I—”
As soon as Phyllis stood up, her legs turned to jelly, and she flopped back down.
The previous blood loss, the intense pain, and the high-tension aftermath of the battle had finally caught up to her.
“I will carry you~”
Looking at Phyllis’s current state, Carola didn’t scold her.
Instead, she gently picked Phyllis up in a bridal carry.
Phyllis leaned into Carola’s embrace, the unique fragrance of the woman’s body swirling around her nose.
“I went to the Dining Room to eat this evening, and then I found…”
Phyllis told Carola everything she had experienced, step-by-step.
She told the whole story, right up until the moment Carola arrived to save her.
“Hmph! It seems some issues arose in the Dungeon, allowing that beast to escape… and even wound you! I will conduct a thorough investigation into this matter once we return.”
Carola frowned slightly after hearing Phyllis’s story.
“Won’t other prisoners escape as well?” Phyllis asked worriedly.
“They won’t!” Carola shook her head.
“I already sealed the entire Dungeon before I came looking for you.”
“Oh, that’s good then.”
Phyllis breathed a sigh of relief.
“Then… what about that Puppet Servant?”
Phyllis remembered the Puppet Servant in the side room of the Dining Room.
“There is some damage, but it is nothing serious.”
Carola’s tone turned cold.
“Oh, okay.”
Sensing the change in Carola’s tone, Phyllis obediently curled up in her arms, not daring to move.
Carola quickened her pace, and the high walls of the Castle soon appeared before them.
“Creeeeak~”
With a gentle push from Carola, the Castle gates swung open.
After the two entered, the gates slowly closed on their own.
Before they shut completely, Phyllis stole a glance at the world outside the gates.
‘Did that count as an attempt to use a third party to escape the Castle?’ Phyllis wondered.
Then, she mentally crossed off the “third party” option.
‘Indeed, it won’t work.’
It was more reliable to let Carola perform Blood Sucking on her to increase her stats.
Even though she didn’t know when she would be strong enough, Phyllis felt she didn’t need to worry about that.
“Ha!”
Between two females, what else could Carola do to her besides Blood Sucking?
‘Well… aside from being a little intimate, she probably can’t do anything else, right?’
—
Carola did not carry Phyllis back to the bedroom.
Instead, they arrived at the Castle’s Open-air Bath.
The Puppet Servant was already there waiting for them.
Phyllis noticed the un-repaired scratches on the Puppet Servant’s body.
“Emmm…”
Adrian’s death was still too easy for him!
Looking at the Puppet Servant who always prepared delicious food for her being scratched up by Adrian, Phyllis couldn’t help but feel angry.
If she weren’t so weak, she would definitely resurrect Adrian just to scrape the meat off his body piece by piece with her claws!
“Take off your clothes.”
Carola placed Phyllis by the side of the pool, then unfastened the two crystal buttons on her own outer coat, revealing her elegantly lined collarbones.
Phyllis couldn’t help but be drawn to Carola’s collarbones.
They were so beautiful!
“You are covered in the stench of that beast, as well as the scent of blood…” Carola’s gaze shifted toward Phyllis.
“Wash yourself clean.”
“Okay, meow~”
Phyllis nodded and pulled her gaze away, slowly beginning to strip off her torn and bloodstained clothes.
Steam misted over the bath.
Once Phyllis finished undressing, she quickly slid into the warm water.
The water rippled as another beautiful body entered the bath, right across from Phyllis.
Carola leaned against the edge of the pool, her white hair spreading across the water’s surface.
Seen through the mist, her red eyes lost some of their usual sharp edge, replaced by a hazy, demonic charm.
“Come here.”
Carola reached out her hand.
Phyllis swallowed hard and slowly moved over.
Carola’s fingers touched Phyllis’s shoulder, pulling her close.
“Master, what are you doing, meow?” Phyllis couldn’t help but ask.
“I am checking to see if any marks were left on your body…”
Carola inspected Phyllis’s neck and shoulders, then gradually moved downward, looking toward Phyllis’s chest.
After confirming there were no issues, she looked even further down…
“He carried me out by my neck, and you killed him before he even had a chance to suck my blood!”
Phyllis covered her sensitive areas and explained to Carola.
“I must see it for myself to be at peace.”
Only after confirming that there were no marks left by Adrian did Carola finally seem to truly relax.
“Can your body hold up?” Carola asked.
“I’m fine, you…”
Phyllis felt it was strange for Carola to ask that, but then she looked up and noticed that Carola’s red eyes seemed to have turned even redder.
“I can’t hold back…”
Carola lowered her head, and her sharp fangs pressed against the warm skin of Phyllis’s neck.
The familiar sting arrived, but it wasn’t intense.
Instead, it carried a sort of tipsy pleasure that rushed straight to her brain.
It was addictive.
Phyllis felt a bit dizzy, her body growing soft as she involuntarily pressed closer into Carola’s embrace.
Carola’s arm wrapped around Phyllis, supporting her so she wouldn’t slip into the water.
Logically, since Phyllis had undergone Blood Sucking by Carola so many times, her body should have developed some resistance.
However, perhaps because she was hungry, Phyllis fainted once again.
‘It turns out you really shouldn’t take a bath on an empty stomach!’
