The Vampires behind her also sucked in a cold breath, their scalps tingling.
Since the western sector had already been cleared in advance by the instructors, they could directly see countless Blood Beasts in the distance.

“Shadow Blood Wolves. They’re the most common Blood Beasts on the outskirts, and extremely cunning. Vampire trainees jokingly call them ‘shadow fathers’ because they close in from the dark.”
“Fini, use your Repelling Water Ring to push them back. Don’t let them get close.”
Lorevil’s mind raced.
“No problem.”
As the Shadow Blood Wolves planted their paws and lunged with a stench of blood, aiming to tear out their throats, Fini shoved both hands forward.
A repelling water ring, tinged red and blue, erupted!
Water lineage power and Blood Energy burst out simultaneously.
A translucent wall of water swept outward, flinging the foremost Shadow Blood Wolves away.
“Fini, good job. You can recall it now. Don’t waste your mental energy.”
Lorevil saw that a few hadn’t been knocked away, so she flicked her hand downward, activating her Blood Blade Secret Art—
Surging Blood Energy condensed into a long blade, crimson through and through!
The next second, she swung it horizontally!
The blade edge wrapped in Blood Energy slashed out a crescent arc of blood-colored light.
Two Shadow Blood Wolves were instantly cut clean in half.

Many of the beasts were caught in the crossfire and killed.
After venting its fury, the Third Order Blood Ape found the real culprits and charged straight at Lorevil and the others.
“Its skin is tough!”
Leina dove down from the tree, her longsword stabbing straight for the ape’s eye socket, trying to mimic Jerwen’s tactic—but it was deflected by the thick Blood Armor beneath the skin.
“I’ll hold it off. Lorevil, find your chance and take it down.”
Fini downed a potion to replenish her Blood Qi, then activated her Repelling Water Ring again.
This time, the water ring expanded to about ten feet wide, forcefully holding back one of the ape’s palm strikes.
But due to the severe drain on her mental energy, Fini stumbled back half a step.
Lorevil nodded in response.
With the Violent Blood Energy she’d just absorbed, a Blood Flash was instantly triggered, her form darting up above the giant ape.
She raised her Blood Blade high, Blood Energy furiously condensing at the edge, and swung it down at the ape—

Before Lorevil could even stand on the ape’s corpse to catch her breath, a shadow thick as a water vat shot out from the right side!
