Long Fei was drinking when she suddenly felt a hand smack her rear, leaving her dazed.

She instinctively looked down and realized the hand actually belonged to Gu Chen. Her pupils instantly dilated.

“Ah!!“

“Why did you grab my butt?”

Faced with such an act, Long Fei couldn’t make sense of it either.

He seemed like a pretty normal guy, even the shy type, not someone who’d pull a sleazy move like that.

Was he drunk?

No way, he hadn’t even started drinking yet…

Gu Chen was truly on the verge of tears right now.

“No, listen, let me explain. That guy over there was trying to sneak a feel. I was trying to stop him, but it accidentally turned into me being the groper. I can’t even tell you how frustrated I am.”

Gu Chen immediately pointed at the bald guy, wanting to explain.

But that guy seemed to see the plan fail and just slipped away.

With so many people, there was no way to tell where he went.

Long Fei took another cautious step back, a hint of anger on her face.

“Hey, you trying that again? I thought of you as a friend, and this is how you treat a friend?”

Even though he’d helped her, that didn’t mean he could just do whatever he wanted.

She wasn’t that kind of girl.

“Jeez, you’ve got it wrong!”

Gu Chen was frantic.

He gestured wildly, but Long Fei couldn’t figure it out.

Mainly because the music was too loud—she couldn’t hear him at all, and he didn’t dare lean in to whisper in her ear.

“Hmph, let’s talk outside!”

At least face-to-face conversation could be heard clearly.

So the two walked to the hallway by the back door, where the noise was much quieter.

Long Fei really hadn’t understood what he was trying to say, so she simply pointed outside.

Before Gu Chen could get a word in, she started scolding him first.

“Fine, for the sake of our friendship, I’ll forgive you this time. But don’t even think about a next time, understand?”

“Huh? No, you’ve got it wrong. Just now…”

“Gu Chen! If you like me, then pursue me properly. If we get along, I might actually consider it. But this kind of groping behavior? I hate it. Do it again, and we’re done!”

Long Fei planted her hands on her hips, not giving him any chance to explain, rattling off a whole speech.

Actually, she didn’t dislike Gu Chen.

But if he wanted to touch, it had to happen within a proper relationship first.

“Miss, can you please let me explain first? A bald guy was getting close to you, reaching out to grab you. I blocked him when I noticed, but I accidentally got bumped into and that’s how it happened. I really didn’t mean it.”

Gu Chen felt like dying, finally getting the chance to clear things up.

Otherwise, in her mind, he’d really be a pervert!

“What? Someone tried to touch me? Is that… is that right?”

Long Fei’s mouth hung open. Now it was her turn to be embarrassed.

Her face instantly grew warm, and she stammered.

So everything she’d just said was a complete misunderstanding.

Gu Chen nodded, looking dead serious.

“Okay, fine.”

“Who tried to touch me just now? How dare they. I’ve got to teach them a lesson!”

Thinking about it now, she was lucky it was Gu Chen who touched her.

“He should still be inside. I just don’t know which table he’s at. Don’t worry, I’ll help you find him.”

Gu Chen replied.

To prove his innocence, he planned to find that bald guy too.

This was about his reputation!

But just as they walked back inside, they noticed the music in the bar suddenly stop, followed by a commotion and screams.

“What’s going on?”

Scanning the room, plenty of people were rushing out through the exits.

Could there actually be a fire?

But looking closer, that wasn’t it.

Quite a few people were still gathered around, and no one knew what was happening.

“This is the guy who groped me!”

A heavily made-up woman’s voice echoed through the hall.

“You bastard, daring to touch my girlfriend. You’re asking for it!”

The man beside her was instantly furious, cursing and throwing punches right away.

But after a sharp crack, there was another scream, and the crowd backed off a few steps with terrified expressions.

With someone throwing punches, even more people scattered.

Meanwhile, security guards were rushing in, making the situation seem even more chaotic.

“Let’s go see what’s happening.”

Long Fei was curious too and gave him a look.

“It’s probably a fight. Let’s not get mixed up in that kind of mess.”

Gu Chen wasn’t too keen.

If a brawl broke out, it’d be too chaotic and easy to get caught in the crossfire.

Better to wait until security handled it before going over.

Besides, judging by the commotion, it was probably that guy who groped Long Fei who’d been caught.

“It’s fine. We’ll just stand far away. And from the voice earlier, it might be that guy who tried to grab me.”

She really had a fearless personality—she’d rush toward any drama.

Gu Chen had no choice but to agree.

So they found a spot where they could see but still keep their distance.

It turned out to be that same bald guy, along with a young man with dyed red hair beside him.

They looked like the type you don’t mess with—tall and muscular, radiating hostility from head to toe.

Straight-up thugs. No wonder they dared to be so cocky.

“What’s going on here?”

Manager Lu had just finished handling the complaint report when he heard about the commotion in the hall and hurried over.

“Manager, these two are causing trouble on the first floor. That bald guy groped several female customers, and they’re all filing complaints.”

The security guard immediately reported.

“It’s you two?”

Seeing those men, Manager Lu’s expression shifted.

“Oh, Manager Lu, how kind of you to come all the way down personally.”

The redhead shrugged, showing no fear of being surrounded.

The bald guy beside him even tore off his tank top, his terrifying muscles making everyone stare in disbelief.

“What are you doing here? You don’t have a match today.”

Manager Lu had already figured out what was going on.

But given his position, he didn’t dare act rashly.

He immediately contacted the boss, knowing he’d have to handle this personally.

“What, running a business and not letting people in? If anything, you guys are the ones looking to pick a quarrel. Coming out for a drink with my brother, and we get falsely accused. That’s really too much.”

The redhead poured himself a drink, the corner of his mouth curling up.

That cocky face really did look like it deserved a punch.

“Bullshit! My girlfriend saw it with her own eyes! Manager, if you don’t handle this, we’re calling the police!”

The man shouted at the top of his lungs.

“Gentlemen, I apologize for the distress. Please step outside and rest for a moment. The establishment will provide compensation shortly.”

“Hmph.“

Seeing an easy way out, the man took it and left with his girlfriend.

“Hey, don’t walk away! Who the hell groped your girlfriend? Say it clearly. Don’t go blaming me for nothing!”

The bald guy kept pressing on.

Getting what he wanted and still looking for trouble, he was directly blocked by several security guards.

“Get out of my way!”

The bald guy swung his thick arm in a wide arc.

Screams erupted one after another, and no one could stop him.
