Description

Before the Cat Girl could answer, the suit-clad man continued, “Don’t worry, my subordinate here is very skilled. He’ll make you feel a ‘pleasure’ that comes from the depths of your soul…”

Noah glanced at Aurora amidst Se Yu’s sinister chuckle.

“Are all your teammates this crazy?”

‘Ah, you should look at yourself…?’ Aurora rolled her eyes at Noah but didn’t say it.

Noah was conflicted.

She didn’t know if she should go out.

The top members of this Sin Organization looked formidable, especially the suit-clad man who could kick Fen Nu—who wielded a large blade without effort—flying with a single kick.

Noah admitted to herself that she definitely couldn’t defeat him.

Furthermore, even if she could kill all these people, what would be the point? Without the password, she still couldn’t open the door.

But if she talked to these people…

Noah’s heart sank.

‘Talking to these lunatics… can I really survive?’

Just as Noah was struggling, Pride, who was cracking the password, suddenly let out a shout.

He announced to everyone in an extremely excited tone, “Amazing! The first digit of the password has finally been cracked!” He waved his arms excitedly and shouted, “It’s 5! It’s 5! Amazing! Only I can do this! Only me!!!”

As soon as Pride spoke, all the Failed Products in the Main Gate area were stirred.

They scrambled to Pride’s side and saw the big number ‘5’ displayed on his laptop screen.

The Failed Products cheered and jumped in unison, pounding everything within sight to vent their pent-up emotions.

But Se Yu didn’t pay any attention to the password.

He only glanced back at the screen, then turned and continued walking toward the Cat Girl.

To him, pleasure was more important than escape.

Noah watched Se Yu get closer to the Cat Girl and instinctively felt she should do something.

Death was not scary to Noah.

What was scary was that this was almost a dead end.

No one knew the door’s password, and Noah couldn’t be sure if the password Pride gave was correct.

Even if the password was real, according to Aurora, opening the door would trigger the explosives.

Then opening the door was meaningless anyway.

Noah steeled herself. She decided to give up this life to test whether the password lock was really connected to the explosives.

Generally, this kind of lock had an error limit; reaching the limit might trigger the dubious explosives.

If heaven favored her and she happened to enter the correct password…

‘Heh… that would be quite the commotion…’

Furthermore, the main reason Noah hadn’t shown herself to the Sin Organization was the lack of a suitable entry point.

Now that Pride had given the first digit of the password, if she questioned its authenticity at this moment, she could forcibly join their conversation.

With that thought, Noah immediately stood up.

Under Aurora’s astonished gaze, she stepped out of the hiding corridor.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Noah voiced her doubts.

“Mediocrity! Stop deceiving your good teammates! The password you cracked is completely wrong!”

As soon as she said that, not only was Aurora startled, but all the Sin Organization members present also looked at Noah in surprise.

They couldn’t help it—they had no idea where Noah came from.

Everyone was silent for a few seconds.

Then Pride was the first to react.

He stood up abruptly, pointed at Noah, and roared in an exasperated tone, “Bastard! Who are you calling mediocre?!”

Aurora was furious at Pride’s reaction time.

‘Psycho! Is that the point?!’ She gritted her teeth but felt helpless.

After hearing Pride’s shout, the other Sin members gradually reacted.

The suit-clad man frowned, his gaze piercing Noah like a blade.

He spoke to her in a condescending tone, “Intruder, state your name, or you will die without a burial place!”

“Haha, I’m so scared. But I’m confident you won’t kill me.

” Noah seemed completely unconcerned about her own safety. She smiled slightly, then looked back at Aurora’s hiding spot.

“Come out. Don’t you want to see your old friends?”

After hearing Noah’s words, Aurora gnashed her teeth in hatred at Noah’s betrayal.

Just as she was about to turn and run, she was startled by the suit-clad man’s order.

She quickly looked behind her and indeed saw a familiar figure.

This was a girl in a pink pajama, carrying a pillow in the crook of her left arm.

She was rubbing her eyes with her right hand, looking as if she hadn’t woken up.

Aurora hadn’t seen where she came from; it was as if she teleported, appearing behind her in the blink of an eye.

“Hehe…” Aurora looked at her former teammate and gave a dry laugh.

“Long time no see… Little Sister Sloth…”

“Yes… long time no see… Sister Envy…” Sloth yawned and slowly walked forward a few steps.

Though her steps seemed incredibly slow, she instantly appeared before Aurora.

Sloth grabbed Aurora’s clothes and shook them a few times with a sleepwalking expression.

“Boss wants me to take you over… Sister Envy, let’s go…”

The scene before her instantly changed.

Before Aurora could react, Sloth had already brought her in front of the suit-clad man.

Aurora looked up at his gloomy face and waved her hand with an awkward smile.

“Haha… long time no see… Boss Greed…”

Greed, the suit-clad man, swept his gaze back and forth between Aurora and Noah a few times and said with a cold smile, “Well, Envy, looks like you’ve grown some nerve.  Last time you spread terror and made the team demoralized. I spared you out of camaraderie, but I didn’t expect you to dare come back. What? Trying to sabotage our escape mission again?”

Aurora was choked by her boss’s words and didn’t know what to say.

After hearing Pride’s shout, the other Sin members gradually reacted.

Pride stood there fuming, still pointing at Noah, but Greed raised his hand to silence the chaos.

“Intruder, state your name, or you will die without a burial place!”

“Haha, I’m so scared. But I’m confident you won’t kill me.” Noah seemed completely unconcerned about her own safety.

She smiled slightly, then looked back at Aurora’s hiding spot.

“Come out. Don’t you want to see your old friends?”

After hearing Noah’s words, Aurora gnashed her teeth in hatred at Noah’s betrayal.

Just as she was about to react, Sloth appeared behind her.

Aurora looked at Sloth and gave a dry laugh.

“Long time no see… Little Sister Sloth…”

“Yes… long time no see… Sister Envy…” Sloth replied.

Sloth brought her instantly in front of Greed.

Greed looked between them and said coldly, “Envy, you’ve grown bold.

Are you here to sabotage us again?”

Aurora opened her mouth but said nothing.

Se Yu suddenly screamed from the side.

“Oh! My god! Pure Goddess! You have finally descended to the mortal world! Please turn your face and look upon your humble follower! I beg you to grant me the right to be trampled by you!”

Se Yu abandoned his target and rushed toward Noah.

Greed’s expression darkened instantly.

Before Se Yu could reach her, Greed kicked him flying.

Se Yu crashed to the ground, groaning.

Greed brushed his sleeve and looked at Noah.

“Beautiful lady, I don’t know who you are, but for you to dare charge alone into my Sin Organization’s territory, you must be no ordinary person. But I’ll warn you beforehand: if you dare sabotage our password-decryption process, I will execute you on the spot!”
